What are these FXZ files? and what do I do with them?
These are Original Official Motorola Firmware Files, and must be flashed with device in AP Fastboot mode.
They will restore Original Firmware/stock rom and can be used if the device no longer boots correctly.

I was just looking for a SBF file for a friend's Droid 4, but the furthest I can find is VRZ_XT894_6.7.2.188 when it's currently on .189, Do you have the SBF for 189? If not, do you think flashing .188 would brick it? For some reason, the ongoing call notification will stick until I FC the phone app so if you know an easy fix for that I'd be happy.

I want to use it on another slot. With some patches.

That site doesn't have links to the OTA packages but yes, that would work for the factory images (though I guess it's not direct link to the zip file).

Plus, I mirror the files. Every time there's an OTA, Google removes the old factory images and replaces them with the new ones. My website doubles as an archive.

Hi everyone. Since the N4 goes on sale tomorrow, I need someone to volunteer to grab some info for me from a brand new N4. This info will need to be obtained as soon as you power up the device, before you apply any OTA updates or anything else. Here's what I'll need from the device:
1. The bootloader version. (Found only on the main bootloader screen, you'll have to reboot into the bootloader to see it)
2. Android version and build # (From settings)
3. Baseband version (From settings)
4. Firmware and device name. To get these two pieces of info, open /system/build.prop in a text editor and post the values of ro.product.name and ro.product.device.
Again, please do this as soon as you power on the device, before applying any OTA that may be available out of the box! Thanks much for your help!
If I get mine before you have the info I am happy to help. I will be ordering as soon as available and will be shipping next day if possible. I live on the east coast though so you may already have it by then..

Just a reminder. If any of you guys in the UK can provide this information before applying any OTA updates, I'd really appreciate it. Also, if you get an OTA to JOP40C, if you could get the link for it, that'd be awesome too!
Anyone? At this point, all I need to know is this: Did your phone come pre-loaded with JOP40C? Or did it come with JOP24G and then you had to OTA to JOP40C?

The images are already posted here. You should easily be able to download them and see what the radio and bootloader version are, and extract the build.prop.

Yes, but I have reason to believe that the phone actually ships with JOP24G, not JOP40C. I want the information from JOP24G if the phone indeed ships with it. I have most of the information for JOP24G...the only thing I don't know is the bootloader version. Also, if the phone ships with JOP24G, I'm hoping someone will be able to provide the OTA link for JOP40C from JOP24G.
Anyone get a Nexus 4 yet? Can anyone tell me if it shipped with JOP24G or JOP40C out of the box?
OK, judging by YouTube unboxing videos, I can definitely verify that it does NOT ship with JOP40C out of the box. It ships with some earlier build. Nobody seems to scroll down so I can see the build number, but I can tell it's an older build by the baseband. It ships with 1700.24, but JOP40C uses 1700.33.
So, when somebody gets their N4, if you wouldn't mind, please (before installing any OTAs) do the following for me:
1. Reboot the phone into bootloader mode and tell me the bootloader version. It may be MAKOZ10L but I'm not sure so I'd like confirmation.
2. Android build number.
3. When you get the OTA notification to update to JOP40C, could you check logcat before applying the update and get the URL to the OTA file?
I would normally do this myself, except I won't be owning a Nexus 4 straight away since I'm on Verizon.
Thanks!
Bootlader version. makoz10f
Build # JVP15Q
Baseband M9615A-CEFWMAZM-2.0.1700.24

as far as the OTA, not sure what's up there, but if you want to work with me on getting the filename for the OTA, I'd really appreciate it. Are you familiar with ADB and the developer options (sorry if that's an insulting question, but I need to know what instructions to give you.
Basically, you'll need to turn on developer options on your phone by going into Settings | About Phone and tapping the build number a few times.
Once that's done, go to Settings | Developer Options and turn on USB debugging.
Once that's done, hook the phone up to your computer via USB, open a command prompt. Do the following command:
adb logcat >logcat.txt
After about 10 seconds, hit Control C to exit out. Open that file (logcat.txt) that you just created in a text editor and search it for ".zip" (without the quotes). You should find the name of a zip file in there. Give me the name of that file (or the full URL if it's in there).

[L5]Official JB - NOW WORKING ! UPDATE.

It's too early but LG is testing V20a for LGE610.
http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/swdata/WDLSW/LGE610/ADEUBK/V20a_00/V20A.kdz
Most of ppl can't download this file, some can download part of file which will not work and there are some peoples that can download all file.
Re: [L5]Official JB
The page said 'forbidden', which means the file is there, but access restricted. I'm curious how you found this link

Well, this one give just keep restarting on lg logo, few secs and then black screen one once and again
triying to restore right now
Is this JB 4.1 or 4.2?
This Rom is working right now im finished downloading
4.1.2 and guyz to upload it you must run stock LG rom without changed bootloader etc.
Bootloop for me.
Not really working.
Guys try to do a factory reset (with key combination) and then try to boot it, i dont have L5 myself, only L7, but thats what it makes it work for me
I rebuilt v20a to install via cwm recovery. Download here h t t p : / /yadi.sk/d/1WVqzef73fBbM
Network not work.
anyone found out if you can unlock the stock bootloader using this?
I know with the l9 update (and others) they allowed it
try this guide, if it works then maybe someone will send the bootloader for testing

[Q] "Unauthorized actions have been detected"

So I keep getting this annoying pop up that unauthorized actions have been detected. My only guess is that its recognizing my build number and other settings inconsistencies.
Heres what my about device says:
Model # - SAMSUNG-SM-G900A
Android Version - 4.4.2
Baseband Version - G900AUCU2ANG3
Kernel Version - 3.4.0-2178781; [email protected] #1; Tue Jul 22 13:58:46 KST 2014

Security Software Version - MDF v1.0 Rel 2; VPN v1.4 Rel 1
what do i do..? ive tried going back to stock NCE but it doesnt fix the problem and besides that I have to manually add my APN to get AT&T connection
You need to update your phone. Seems like you got new bootloader and old software. Make sure you have same software and bootloader.

Me too and the file Work great.
Do this. (BackUp all your data!!, this procedure delete all your phone)
Download G870AUCU2COJ3 to G870AUCU2CPB1
Rename it to update.zip
Paste it into SDCard.
Shutdown de phone.
Hold Volumne UP + Home + Power.
Select Update from external ....
Select Update.zip.
Whait until it finish, In the AT&T logo It's look like halt but is installing, whait to finish. It can take 6 to 15 minutes.
Now you have to do the same with the next file PB1 to PB2, etc etc etc
@hafeezfriends Thank you for ever for this files!! and How do you get it??

i am stuck in ODIN mode .

After being on the update for a week now I have to say it's AWSOME, Battery life is 33% better, ui is faster and glitch free. And I still have the ability to save offline GPS maps for Backcountry Navigator Pro to the external sd card, witch for me is all the "root" services I need without having a rooted device :victory:

do not use odin, just rename it to "updat.zip" then put it on the external sd card and boot to recovery (vol-up + home + pwr) and select update from sd. and wait 10-20 minutes when it gets to the att blue and white globe splash screen, there is no animation during the update process so just wait....
