BOOT and SYSTEM sections is restoring successfully but DATA fail just on start ! No more info displaying. I have tried three different backups and always its failed on DATA section.
I should mention that the TWRP restoration of MIUI ROM works correctly in its entirety.

Can i install TWRP 2.8.0.0 from Windows 8.1 ?

You can install it from any OS on which you can install adb and fastboot, so w8.1 is included.

Hi can you please explain how can I install custom recovery? I installed TWRP recovery but Im stuck in B126 and I would like to update the software. Please help.

OMG... TWRP is a custom recovery !!!
You need stock ! recovery to instal stock ROM ! Learn and read this forum ! Don't flood posting the same basic questions !

Ok sorry it was a typo. What I meant was stock recovery. And I do know the difference between stock and custom recovery. I installed custom recovery and would like to get back to stock recovey. I've been searching all the threads and did not find clear instructions. Sorry for not been so knowledgeable and post a question in the Q&A section.

Steps are pretty much the same as when you're installing TWRP, so I assume you have all the necessary software and drivers installed.
Connect device to your PC, remember to have USB debugging on.
Fire up your device in bootloader mode (adb reboot bootloader)
Flash recovery.img from https://mega.co.nz/#!P8IGWBpL!7YVCaAoc8AYFbbXGVVjGtjnL0B9jBih9h35qqX4lIpg this package with fastboot (fastboot flash recovery recovery.img)
Reboot your device - you will have stock recovery now (fastboot reboot)
Now you can flash official roms
Copy over a new rom (update.app) to /dload folder on your device
Run local update
That's about it

i would extract the recovery.img from the firmware that you want with "huawei update extractor"

Or simply use this tool:

First of all thank you for your work tordwards the opening of the Ascend P7.
I've been trying to boot TWRP using fastboot but the device always answers with a permission error:

Installed but not working
I already installed the last TWRP version with success. But after turning on the phone into recovery mode in less than 10 seconds the phone just restart himself to the normal mode.
More details:
My device's into the last EMUI 3.0 (bought from Amazon, unlocked device)

Guys, I need help! Just upgraded my P7-L10 to EMUI 3.0 // B609, and tried to flash TWRP 2.8.1.0 through ADB. Everything went fine, but everytime I boot into Recovery Mode, TWRP screen freeze. What am I doing wrong? Anyone?

UPDATE: Nevermind.. I found TWRP for EMUI 3.0, working, which is great!

I couldn't get TWRP to stick even with a custom kernel. When I executed a fastboot command to boot from the TWRP image it said that the image is corrupted and not bootable. Tried redownloading ~4 times all with the same error. On latest OTA update for LGGWR.

Ok this might sound like a stupid question but I just had some problems installing TWRP + rooting and now that everything seems to be working fine I want to check that root is actually working so... is there any way to do that? How can I check that su access is available?.

I have another problem: I unlocked the bootloader, flashed TWRP but then I can't push Supersu to the watch in the bootloader mode, because the device can't be found (adb devices).
When I try to check if TWRP is on the watch and I say "adb reboot recovery" I only see the original recovery although the flashing of TWRP ran smoothly.
Can anyone help me?

OK, sorry - It's me again.
I made the mistake that I didn't put the twrp.img into the fastboot folder
although adb always replied that the flashing was successfull.
Anyway - twrp is now installed but I had the same issue as mentioned above: Supersu can't be pushed because there is no device to be found. Then I went into twrp which prompted me that the device doesn't seem to be rooted and I affirmed to install supersu. Now when I am back into the normal mode of the watch supersu pops up but can't be installed because it crashes everytime.

I had also a lot of problems with rooting the watch., but finally it's working now using the steps described in this thread and WinDroid.
But I had to disconnect the usb wire multiple times in some steps. Than WinDroid received the signal from the watch and triggered e.g. the installation of TWRP.
Hope this helps a bit.

I also have the same issue with su not installing with the wintool (no adb drivers). Also getting the force close of su after restarting watch like the others have mentioned here. I wanted to install the wifi mod also, can't figure that out either. not to familure with adb, and was hoping the wintool would install it to the phone. No luck so far. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've done this multiple times and sometimes the behaviour is a little bit strange but in the end these are my steps to flash the watch
(I'm flashing everything, so be aware that every data from the watch will be deleted
1. Watch is on and home screen is visible
1. a) adb push supersu.zip /sdcard/
1.b) adb push lenok_wifi_zip-02.zip /sdcard/
2. adb reboot-bootloader
3. Check "fastboot devices" if device is available, if not, unplug cable and reconnect it (I have to do it everytime for fastboot!)
4. fastboot flash boot boot_gwr_5.1.1.img
5. fastboot flash system system_gwr_5.1.1.img
6.a) fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
6.b) fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.6.0-lenok.img
-> this is strange for me: If I only flash twrp, then twrp will not be started. If the original recovery.img is flashed before, then it's working!
7.) In twrp install supersu.zip
8) in twrp install lenok_wifi_zip-02.zip
Hope this helps a bit

fastboot not finding my watch
hi all, i am trying to unlock my g watch r and install twrp the problem i have is after i reboot into fastboot, fast boot cannot find my device, it still shows in my computers device manager list as a android bootloader interface but fast boot commands all just say waiting for device, i have tried every driver i can find and have made no progress, i have also tried a factory reset and still nothing.
any ideas ?

I DL the twrp on post 1 and I got the twrp...but it has ext img.dmg. .... Not sure how to convert to img only? I tried flashing it and it gave me an error.

I'm curious...since I can't get Twrp to flash..... do i have to use a custom recovery to flash the su? I can get into stock recovery....can i install the su via adb in stock recovery?

I stuck on the screen "unlocking bootloader", i cant choose to OK ....
is there any solution?

make sure you are in fastboot.. to enter fastboot power off your watch and as soon as you boot up swipe your finder from the 10'oclock to 4'oclock position while the lg logo is displayed.. then run the toolkit

TWRP not working
Hi. My problem is that everything went fine untill unlocking the bootloader. in the 3rd step pushing the superSU zip and should reboot to TWRP but instead it goes to recovery mode. the program reports success in all steps. but TWRP just not working,, on LG G WATCH R
Please help.
That problem solved. now i got a much bigger.. TWRP working. but im stuck in TWRP. no mether how i reboot or restart it never boot anymore to system or recovery. it starts TWRP instead.

Cannot load a ROM after TWRP installed
I successfully unlocked the bootloader and flashed the recovery, but I must be missing a step to flash a ROM. I put the phone into ADB Sideload mode and select a ZIP file for the 5.1.1 ROM. After only a few seconds it says it was successful and that my watch should be flashing the ROM, but the watch isnt doing anything (just sitting on the ADB sideload screen).

How did you resolve first problem. Can't get to twrp. Running 5.1.1 unlocked.
Fixed by relocking BL. Then starting over. Now can't flash system.IMG for leedroid. Ugh. Bad day for me.

It's better not to use winDroid it has to many bugs for me it's not good when I tried it for several times stays on twrp when set to reboot system. Go for cmd line that's the best way.

*I flashed TWPR 2.8.6.1 and then flashed the LeeDroid ROM using minimal ADB and I am still getting straight to TWRP reboot. What did I miss.
After a lot of flashing I've finally escaped TWRP after bootlooping and bricking my watch. I followed this guide

Caution everyone don't use this to flash TWRP, it flashes TWRP to the system instead of the recovery image so you won't be able to boot into android and you'll get errors trying to mount the images!! If you want TWRP just use fastboot to flash it!

Sir i am new to this site and i am noob to this process kindly answer a few things.
i am using honor 3c international version and i rooted this device with kingroot do i need to unlock bootloader now ?
i tried to flash recovery there are two files in twrp recovery
folder name: H30-U10_TWRP_2.8.6.0
1. recovery TWRP_2.8.6.0_byCL file
2. MT6582_Android_scatter
when i click download button on sp flash tool and connect my device without battery my phone connect and disconnect after 2 or 3 seconds AND i also tried with battery inserted but same results
Please help me if i am doing anything wrong I want to install CynogenMod on my honor 3c
i downloaded these files. and install all the drivers.

Make sure drivers are installed properly.
After doing the sptool thing connect your phone.
Its normal it vibrates for few seconds let it be.it will automatically establish connection.
To flash recovery you need to unlock bootloader
