Hope it will work perfectly ...tnks for sharing

Thanks... Finally we are getting variety of things for our phone.

Can't get external sdcard..
There is no option to mount external SDcard...
There is no option to flash zip from external SDcard..

Is this the same posted on Android Development branch? Or is it newer/better?
Sent from my Moto G 2014 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Thanks for this @luca020400. Do you think you can resolve the external sdcard issue? @adrianom solved it for the version posted here. Perhaps you can reference that work? The version @adrianom posted has worked wonderfully for me, but yours appears to use a newer version of CWM, so I'd be keen to update to the latest if the external sdcard issue can be fixed. Thank you in advance.

OMG i m sorry....

Not for Moto G w/Ext SD card...
Thanks for trying to help all of us geeks with an updated CWM Philz recovery.
However, there is no "/external_sd" option.
Therefore, I reverted back to CWM Philz 6.0.4.7

Hi.
Tried to install Cyanogen MOD 12.1 with android 5.1.1 as base, and first i got an error status 6 while trying to flash gapps.
Then i updated to latest version of this recovery (6.59), but it didn´t read the SD card, so i had to install TWRP.
I really preffer Phils Recovery though.

The current working Recovery systems are as follows.....
I actually got bored this evening and flashed every known recovery setup i could find lol...believe me there's a lot of them lol!
These are for everyone but use with caution.
I will of course add any working recovery programs available to us up asap. I am aware of a few 5.0.2.7 CWM but i yet to find a working one. 5.0.2.8 as far as i know doesn't work, the copy found in these boards is a port and isn't reliable.

This recovery is nice to use, quick and smooth, but by using this, you cannot backup ext2/3/4 (sd-ext)
It backs up everything else nicely and smaller than CWM.
ClockWorkMod 5.0.2.6
This is the Normal Recovery Program that we all use.
Now Installation of these is easy.
Now everyone should by now if there here looking at this, be able to get to bootloader..! (I hope anyway)
If not follow these steps
1-Take battery out
2- Insert battery
3-Hold the volume down key and press the power button at the same time.
now Hboot menu will appear, wait for it to do its check etc.
4-Select fastbootmodeNow you need you PC Cable plugged into the fone and PC, i am also assuming by reading this you already have adb cmds setup and know the basics of using them. For those that don't please search the appropriate threads in these sections for those details.
5-Open the DOS cmd window in Windows and get to your adb folder.
Example (c:/android-sdk/platform-tools)
you will need the recovery.img file which will be listed below this thread for download, place into the c:/android-sdk/platform-tools folder. Unzip the files which contain recovery.img into the c:/android-sdk/platform-tools using winrar/winzip program.
6- using this cmd > fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (copy and paste into the cmd window)
it will now flash the recovery.
once done, unplug your cable from the phone and select bootloader option.
now wait till it searches again, and then scroll down and seldet recovery.
These recoverys are designed buy users for users, raidzero recovery does not have any support any-more, CWM for us isn't official either, but both work!
By undertaking these steps i hold no responsibility to damage of any-kind to your phone, not that anything will happen!

I was going through the Salsa Dev forum, and this is the latest CWM available as of now. I tried going to link provided in the post, but it is a github repo and I don't know how to build the recovery using this repo. Can you please help me here?
I am planning to install CM11 ROM from here once I done installing with CWM 6.0.5.0.
I tried posting in the thread itself, but I cannot post in any development thread as I am new to this forum.

Good! Thank you!
Can you please upload the same for .67 firmware?
Kernel is the same - I'll change the OP.
Oh. It's ready for .67?
Good.
AromaFM working on this recovery?
Yup! Just create a folder called aromafm inside clockworkmod folder on external sd card, and put aromafm.zip in there (rename the the zip if you need to)
Then, reboot into Philz recovery and just double tap the screen
You can also open it under /Philz settings
Great,
Finally the n7000/i9100 sequel :good:
I was reluctant to start the same with the Z since we need to repack for each new stock kernel
Happy to see you starting the same
You can look at my ramdisk changes to enable init.d
Or better, this commit list:
https://github.com/PhilZ-cwm6/initramfs_XWLSN/commits/master
Where init.d is properly setup
You can try to see if cm-10.2 bootimg binary runs fine on your stock kernel to enable custom bootimg
All changes are in init.rc and some customs shell scripts
That will make you play a bit with shell and rc files
Wi-Fi Problem
Thank you very much.
However, Wi-Fi does not move to our regret.

Before flash this you need unlocked bootloader. Root is not needed, because you will flash it with fastboot.

Correct. Just extract the boot.img from the zip file, and fastboot it. Then you can boot into recovery, and install SuperSU binaries from Philz settings and all apps will be given automatic root access . Then just install the app from PlayStore. (If you want to)

i would like to seek another clarification. hehe, i have unlocked my bootloader with the .67 firmware. but after flashing the .569 firmware, my bootloader was locked again. can i unlock it again (with .569 firmware) through the use of flashtool? i have managed to unlock my bootloader from .64 firmware through flashtool too. hehe
Flashing firmware shouldn't lock bootloader but if locked, unlock with flashtool. If you can't unlock, try asking in Q&A or. 569 thread.

[Q&A] [Recovery][Titan] TWRP 2.8.0.1 for Moto G 2014

Q&A for [Recovery][Titan] TWRP 2.8.0.1 for Moto G 2014
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.
Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for [Recovery][Titan] TWRP 2.8.0.1 for Moto G 2014. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
Will this support 1068??
Yes
Regarding having custom recovery overwritten during Lollipop boot....
If you haven't already, after you fastboot flash TWRP, boot to recovery and then flash "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.16." Then reboot. You won't have root, but in the case of my XT1063, this process has preserved custom recovery. I should note that I am using PhilZ not TWRP. Also, new releases of SuperSU seem to lead to bootloop, so I recommend v2.16.
From this configuration I have had success then running Chainfire's AutoRoot for my device to gain root. After running the AutoRoot script, my XT1063 bootloops for several minutes and then loads. And then I have root. That's the good news. Bad new is that powering off and then on usually leads to endless bootloop. For a while I just left my phone on all the time. But in the end this wasn't practical for me so I am back to unrooted but with custom recovery. More peace-of-mind, really.
Now just waiting for CM12.
I'm not a dev. Just an enthusiast relating my experiences. Hope it helps.

Unfortunately booting an external recovery file doesn't work on lollipop, so I'll have to wait for a flashable version. But great work!
Once it's up and running, could you please contact the TWRP team so that it can become an "official supported recovery" available from their website and apps?

no worries. decryption of /data is less important for phones that have an external sd slot since backups, roms, etc can be saved there.

Grand Duos I9082 has been missing the recovery post for quiet sometime now. Many are using the official TWRP, whereas it is not fully compatible with custom ROMs and also it's not developed regularly.
Here I am posting the latest GHsR customised TWRP for Grand Duos I9082. It is the latest.
All credits go to @GHsR. He has been providing us with the latest of the TWRP as always. Great work Mate.

Ask to related rom thread, which is the recommended recovery for that rom (maybe cwm/philz).. and follow properly all steps.
If anyone wants you can also add TWRP themes.

After so many days some new development in Grand Recovery.
TWRP recovery v3.1.1.0 by GHsR extracted and converted to Odin flashable format from downloaded "twrp-3.1.1.0-i9082-20170529"
verified working!
Was looking for update for a while

Thank you so much for this.
My official TWRP used to crash all the time.
Finally I have taken a successful nandroid backup with this modded recovery.
Can I just flash through default bootloader
hi,
after flashing this with Odin, when I try to go to Recovery (Vol Down+Home+Switch), it just going to default recovery. Any suggestion on this?

Soon after the word PASS appears in ODIN, the cell phone will restart itself, at this time you can press the keys to start in recovery mode. It has to be just after the word PASS, without the system starting.
If I help you, give me a tnks. Good luck friend.
