Hi, i recently purchased one smg800f, on it worked almost everything ok, but wifi has extremely low signal, if im at front of any router i get same signal as my previous phone (i9500) but if i make 10 steps it doesn't connect any more, wifi analyzer show the signal going from 85db to almost nothing and keep alternating between those values.
Does anybody have the same problems?, any idea to how to solve it?
I have tried flashing differents firmwares from differents countries but still have the problem
Please help me.

Hello there !
sorry for my bad English. I'm French and I don't speak English often
I'm having some troubles with my Galaxy S signal quality. It occurs with GPS, mobile and Wifi. The signal is about 50-70% lower than before. I think it's a hardware problem, since I tested multiple ROM, Kernel and modems without any signifiant improvement. I also tried software GPS fix, but have no notable improvement !
Do you think changing one of this hardware part can solve the signal problem for GPS, mobile and Wifi ?

Tested multiple times : no notable changes

I've been using Galaxy Note on ICS 4.0.4 for 1 month with no problem. (Bought it form sister in-law)
Started downgrading to GB, root, install CM9 and then CM10.1.
Then I notice the wifi not functioning beyond excellent coverage.
GNote works fine within the area.
Tried connecting to wifi near the router, no data/internet once moving beyond the 6 feet from the router.
The GNote still detect the signal (Good, poor) and the surrounding wifi signal but no data/internet.
Other phone (iPad, iPhone 4S, Lumia 800) still function normally even in the poor area.
Rebooted the router a few time.
Since other device is functioning, I don't think it's the router.
GNote can still detect the signal until quite far away, but no data/internet.
Tried flashing CM10.1 a few time.
Tried flashing CM10.1 + Philz kernel.
Tried Ultimate N7000 Rom.
Downgrade to stock ICS 4.0.4 + Philz kernel.
Downgrade to stock JB 2.3.6
Upgrade using Kies to ICS 4.0.4. Still the problem is there.
Install Busybox, fxr wifi fix... nothing.
I'm out of ideas to find the solution.
Tested on 2 other router, same result.
I'm started to think this is a GNote hardware problem.
But the GNote is still sealed with sticker.
Anyone has any idea???
Sorry mate you are unlucky and get a faulty device please consider the help from samsung service centre. Maybe the wifi antenna is need to be replaced. Goodluck :thumbup:

try to change the router wifi setting to b/g and also give it a static IP under Wifi settings of note and router and test.

true i too have a HTC device which works great with N.. but note seems to disconnect and not connect until i set it to b/g.. else cannot download large files at all
try different modems and check your warrantee first
Tried changing router setting a bit, same thing.
It's working fine when you're in close range so I don't think it's the router.
It's a year old phone, was thinking to open it up myself.
Check the warranty, luckily it has a 2 year warranty.
I flash it back to stock rom, will sent it for warranty repair.

Hi! I've a mi5 64 and a Midland BT next (is an intercom I use when I go in bike). With all my old phones I could pair the Midland without problem, in a minute, but with Mi5 is impossible! the phone prompts for the code (0000) and seems that connect but finally the status is: connected (no device). An strange error, no? I don't know how can I solve this problem, some idea here?
The intercom is very expensive and it's not my idea to buy another! :laugh:

ps: I've tried the stock rom when I bought and now I've the xiaomi.eu dev 6.4.21 .
I reflashed and now seems to work but the error text is no device..

I have a serious problem on my P30 pro.
Till one month ago il was working like a charme, but in the last month today is the 2nd day it does not want to connect to any wify at all. I tried everything (including the hard reset) but the problem is still there. It is not the router because other devices are correctly connected and it does not work even if I try to connect it to another phone via Hotspot. It is switching from "good connection" to "no connection" with the "!" randomly.
Probably tomorrow it will work but it is not nice it to behave like that.
I bought it on amazon but by now it is not available, if it was i would have asked for a complete replace.
Do you have any suggestion about what I could try?

I have the same issue since updating to 10.0.0.195 yesterday
I'm running the v.190, I do not remember if I had this issue before.

I own it since the beginning of March, it got the update to the 190 in April. I checked and the 1st time I had this issue was the 2nd of May.
I think it is possible it is a problem of the last updates, but we have to understand if someone else has this issue.
I would be disappointed to make a replace.

I have similar problem which i resolve temporary. Check if you may use custom dns if you use disable it. In settings check if you have enabled smart network where wifi and data connection changes when wifi detect saved wifi spot
Disable that two things temporary fix my problem

I do, I use ad guard DNS and wifi+, but it usually works and sometimes it does not.
For instance by now the wifi is working, I went out a couple hours, came back and now it works without touching anything.
Thank you for your feedback, let's see if others have the same problem, which I'm starting to belive it is a bug, not acceptable in such a smartphone!

the same issue here vog29. 195 vodafone. de branded with. 190 it wasnt.
This software has so many bugs... With my lg h815 it was much more stabile. Great hardware high price bad Software. Huawei for me is really a disapointment

I'm having exactly same issue since phone updated to 190. Sometimes it connects normally and sometimes connect with no internet access and a exclamation symbol. Tried to reboot hundred times, reset network configuration, but nothing works.

Also had this since updating yesterday 10.0.0.195.
Same on 195. Fixed by restarting my router and phone.
I'm on the 195 now, disabled wifi plus as suggested and yesterday wen I went out the 4g was not working, I had to toggle it on and off. Never happened on the 190 [emoji28]

Same problem for me since the 195 Update.
It says Wifi is connected but without Internet. Strange thing is, if I disable mobile data and make a Speed test I have the full power of my Internet. But it still says I have no internet connection in the Wifi Symbol.
Same problem. Says "no internet access" when connecting to the Wifi network and displays an ! alongside the Wifi symbol in the menu bar. Connectivity drops and resumes with seemingly no explanation.

I can confirm i have the same problem. Usually connects to WiFi, but No internet access. Very annyoing, as all other devices works fine.

Have same issue with. 190 i have net but phone says no connection. Updated to 195 and i think problem persists. Huawei is a ****ty manufacturer, with no development. Expensive and etc. If this phone wasn't a gift i would never buy huawei.
I have the same issue where the WiFi connects with no Internet access, the only way for this to be resolved is to move within 1 meter of the router. Has this been resolved yet?
I have global Venus mi 11 phone since last security update my phone suddenly shutdown/restart or sometime freeze then auto restart.
Also sometimes force close any app mostly Twitter and YouTube.

I had this problem before, and my phone finally bricked 2 months ago.After that, Xiaomi got my bricked mi 11 back, and send me a new phone. You'd better backup the data in case your phone suddenly bricked (or wifi is broken).

Same here, it happens usualy on mobile internet and while browsing some instagram or fb..

No, still happends, everytime when I use mobile internet, on wifi phone rocks, but on 4G it sucks. It happends also to lose mobile network while driving for example when I am in a call and im driving, sometimes phone cant find network but my friend has it.. Its weird problem and I guess there is no solution online.. Will probably destroy this phone because of this, it annoys me a lot.

Are you rooted?? If. Yes please look in folder /root/data/vendor/ramdump.
Are there modem_ramdump files? I have and it was filling up space...

I never rooted this phone, will try it tomorrow so I will tell you results. But since this problem is from beggining (since I bought it) I doubt so..
