[theme] TWRP: english Theme Material Gray V1.1 - nativ 1080x1920

I have taken time to work on porting my German TWRP Theme Material for the 1080x1920 nativ in English language.
This Theme resolution is for example now also used for 720x1280 devices in the form of a scaled down version 2.8.7.0 TWRP. This means that this theme is compatible with many devices in scaled form. The theme has been tested already on a Nexus. 4
Link to German Theme:
Attention:
This theme is not compatible to TWRP 2.8.5.x and older !!!
when used under TWRP 2.8.6.x following must be observed, otherwise crashes or freezes TWRP. It also runs among them, but the following options may not be used:
- under Mount: Only mount system read-only
- under Wipe: Resize
Theme successfully tested on the following devices:
Nexus 4
Nexus 5
Nexus 6
Samsung Galaxy S3 (I9300)
Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini (I9195)
Samsung Galaxy S4 (I9505)
Samsung Galaxy S5
HTC M8
OnePlus One
How to use:
1. Download the theme
2. On SD card open TWRP folder and create a folder called "theme", without capital letters.
3. Copy ui.zip to theme folder.
4. Restart to recovery.
The theme supports the features from version 2.8.7.0. The Theme has a native resolution of 1080x1920 and is on or when required scaled on the device.
Note: If a new menu item, button or effect added at TWRP, the theme has to be adapted and expanded to reflect the new menu item, button, or effect also appears in theme. This is related because the button / menu items, etc. are read from an xml file.
Should be used in newer versions of the theme where the new features are not yet installed, while working the theme, but the new features are not displayed.
While this is only one theme for TWRP, but I write it anyway. Use at your own risk. So neither xda-developers nor do I accept any liability for damages!

Does this only replace the system font with one preselected font? I can't see any way to choose anything different.

Yes, replace the Roboto font with Noto Sans. The only thing you can currently choose is whether to replace the system emojis or not. If you have suggestions to propose I will listen to them!
Good choice, thanks for this module
Hi, could you make it support Georgia pro cond light? thanks.

I am disappointed to inform you that the Georgia Pro font is under the Microsoft license, which is not free so I would go against the purpose of the module. If I'm wrong, correct me!
Why would you name this module plural, fonts, while all it does is replace the system font with one font?
Quite confusing.

You are absolutely right, but the initial purpose of this module was to be able to choose between different fonts during the installation process. For personal problems I have not been able to continue the development but I am planning to introduce other three fonts soon.

Hi F3FFO, I really liked this mod so much, since I am a very newbie, and I was looking for a way that makes me able to change phone's font, and I've tried to change the font using app called "Font Fix" and it broke my phone, so it was really nice seeing the font changed without zFont
By the way, I'm using realme UI, and I want to change clock numbers to Arabic numbers instead of Indian one, can you add option to change number's font? I think the clock numbers doesn't use roboto font, and can you add IBM Plex and IBM Plex Arabic font please?
Keep up bro

@F3FFO I just tried you new module. The lockscreen clock colon is a square with an x through it(used newly added roboto font) In order to fix this on all of my font modules I have created you need to open the fonts with a font editor ex font forge and copy position 003a (colon) to position a789 and .notdef position. Thanks for your work

Thank you very much for the solution, I thought about it and since my module has the purpose of installing a font by downloading it directly from the source, I think it is appropriate to find another alternative. I don't want to think about having to edit all the fonts by hand and redistribute it, that's not my goal!
Maybe it makes sense to open an issue on the font distributor?
I am open to new solutions/ideas!

Why would I open an issue with them it's the way we have to apply custom fonts that is the issue, and so far the main source is not compatible with all android devices. I'm sure they are modified when implemented into different phones. This is the only solution I have found that's why I shared it with you. The only fonts I believe you would need to edit is regular and thin styles.
Maybe a fibt dev like you could implement a way to copy and replace this from colon to .not def via a font.xml or by script
- Hello Guys, I'm trying to install the Open Fonts module by using Magisk on Samsung Galaxy S5 with custom ROM LineageOS 18.1 but I couldn't find the new fonts after installation.
- Can you please let know the exact steps I should follow and from where to change the fonts?
