[Q] Xperia T won't turn the screen back on after standby - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

After updating the T to the stock 4.3 update, I got a lot of problems so I got another phone.
Now I would like to use it again for a bit but the screen sometimes won't come back on after a standby.
Even rebooting using the buttons won't always make it come back on, even though I feel the vibrations of messages and reboots.
Does anyone know what could be wrong and how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Same problem.
I did the soft reset (power + up volume )and turn off the mobile and the problem isn't fixed.
Any idea?

Is this a common problem???

I have searched the forums but not found anything that would rectify my current problem with my O2 xda Ignito.
The phone seems to want to turn off all on it's own when it feels like it, it goes to sleep without hitting the top (power) button and then turns itself on seconds later (just as if i were pressing the top button repeatedly?)
It also keeps asking me to turn the phone off, as if I where pressing and holding the top power button?
The button (I hope) isn't sticking, could this be a software problem? The phone is only a few months old?
It's driving me mad any advise would be appreciated.
Note: I have just reset the phone to factory default by clearing the storage and the problem persists.
I think it's a software problem.
Why not just send it back to O2 and get it sorted out under warranty?

Black Screen

My Fiancee's G1 wont turn on at all,No T-mobile slpash screen or nothing.LED lights turn on and Call,Home,Back and Power buttons light up except for the screen itself her phone wasnt rooted,I have never experienced this before.
Can someone please help?
the phone is not turning on via the power(end) button???
try pressing the camera button and keeping it pressed, also press the power button to enter into hboot mode...if u succeed in entering that mode, the phone is fine, or else it could be bricked.
Try Home+Power see if you can get into recovery mode.
If you can wipe cache data.
Hi everyone, hope it's okay to post this here since this Question relates to mine.
I'm having a trouble like this except instead it's like my backlight went out, it was working fine until my alarm on my phone went off and when I went to turn it off I had to take the battery out of my phone because the screen wasn't pulling up. It flashed basically, so when I put the battery in the screen came on but no backlight. Could it be due to Cyanogen? I'm restoring my backup to see what else could I try?
could u be a bit more specific?phone is working??? calls etc???or are u stuck somewhere????
As I said, the screen came on but no backlight. The phone works fine except for the backlight I'm trying to figure out if it's a hardware issue or a software issue. I don't know how much more specific I can get really except that the only way to see the screen is to hold it at a certain angle so the light hits it just right.

[Q] Xperia Z Screen just wouldn't want to Turn ON anymore

Hi Guys
Got this phone on the 27th Feb, and It has already giving me problems.
Just want to share and hope somebody has a solution.
BTW, my phone has not been rooted nor boot unlocked YET. (Thank god for that, else I might have problems if I want to send it back to Sony)
Problem: My Xperia Z screen does not seem to want to turn on. The phone state itself is ON, as I can hear phone ringing or when notifications received, But the screen stays OFF the whole time.
How it happened: Was playing a game when I believe a call comes in, and *Poof*! The screen goes dark.
Already tried:
- Hard Resetting the phone (Power + Vol Up + Vol Down)
- Have also restored the phone using Sony PC companion software. Phone is now back to original settings.
But THE SCREEN IS STILL BLACK AS NIGHT throughout the resetting and restoring!!!
Can somebody please help me out.
Warranty exchange I think...

This happened to me today. I thought it was a dead battery so I plugged it in to charge, hard resetted the phone, it displayed the battery logo and then it booted. It was 29%. I don't know why it was unresponsive.
My phone encountered the "sleep of death" twice.
It does not ring, but when you call it, there is a ringing tone.
The only way to revive is to press VolUp + Power. That will cause the phone to bootup/restart.
Not unlocked nor rooted also. Kinda worrying..

[Q]Phone won't wake up, Have to push 3 times power

Hi everybody;
I have experienced some issues with my xperia T on JB, very often when the phone is in stand by, I have to push like 3 times the power button
in order to wake it up. It's is very annoying... I wiped the phone and it still does it. I tried to repair the phone via PC Companion... Still does it...
Am I the only here having this problem?
Is this the Sleep of Death?
And how can i resolve it?
Thanks for your answers!

I've noticed this on turdzzrom as well. Sometimes takes a few seconds to wake up.
But yes, from time to time ive had to hold volume up + power to restart it.
Any logs we can post to help?

Up!
Anyone happens to have the same problem?
Yep, when i awake sometimes, the phone somehow switches itself off or if charging, goes to the enter pin screen. This has happened since the JB update cause it was fine before.
Also reboots when listening to music via bluetooth. So a factory wipe wont help either? Just great!
Apparently nobody has this problem or a solution,
Do you think I need to send it to the customer service?
I'll wait the update and then I will send it if I still have this problem

anyone else facing the problem of screen not turning on when apps hang?

Its happens often that the phone hangs and once the screen doesn't turn on, sometimes pressing the power button for long turns on the screen and there is a message of usually whatsapp or Facebook or systemui not responding. Is there anyway to resolve this? I have factory reset and used sus to repair often.phone is rooted with stock rom 205.
try flash another faster, better rom like existenz ultra 4
and use SpeedyDroid to rip some unnecessary feature on your phone
