Hi,
My P7 is stuck in a loop while doing a ROM update. I suspect that the UPDATE.APP was not written correctly, so the phone is rebooting to retry the update continuously.
I've flashed CWM and TWRP recoveries, but the phone still boot loops and tries to run the update.
Is there anyway of stopping the phone from trying to update, or can anyone send me a full filesystem dump that I can flash?

do you want to make a official update?
if so you need to flash the stock recovery of your actual installed/running rom..

hellow guys,
i have just installed my rom V3.0 for huawei P7 L10 i was on B609 .after installing the rom by using twrp 3.0 after finishing installation it said that i have to perform a factory reset after that on rebooting it stucks on fastboot mode and i was currently on 12% charge. my problem is first how can i charge my P7 and second is how to fix the above problem. my bootloader was unlocked
please help guys...???

I'm not sure that TWRP 3.0 is compatible with EMUI 3.0. You should try installing TWRP 2.8.7.0 from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/asc...ecovery-twrp-2-8-7-0-touch-recovery-t3160130. You know how to flash using fastboot, don't you?
Hey guys! I'm trying to debrand my C627 P9 Plus by using the somboons's How to debrand Huawei Phone using the SRK Tool but I always get stuck when I try to install TWRP. Every time I try to boot into TWRP the phone is stuck at the "Your device is now booting..." screen. I've tried both the SRK Tool method and the manual (ABP) install TWRP method, but it's not working. Is the C627 model not rootable or am I doing it wrong?

I am having the same problem with EVA-L09 P9 C627 build. I tried with all of the twrp versions and none of them works too.
My Huawei P9 EVA-L19 cant update past the custom recovery.
I dont know what to do.
I can download the update in the system update part but cant install it. It somehow always fails and goes into the recovery mode.

I tried the lineageOS ROM... now i want to install the stock firmware. I've downloaded the PRA-LX1C432B181 firmware with Huawei firmware finder, extracted, flashed recovery + system (It "divides" the system.img in 7 files, i think that's ok) + boot.
Now the phone starts the huawei logo appears and then just restarts again.
Is there something i can do? Thanks

I have bricked my p8 lite 2017 PRA-LX1 after i try to close the bootloader the cell phone has started the erecovery, but every update attempt falls immediately afterwards, can you help me? is all the time I try to install the twrp with adb but nothing happens :crying::crying:
Update: finally i put the twrp recovery and apparently it is the file system to give these problems, I tried to repair and format it in .fat and .exfat but there is no way to make it work, any ideas?
