[Q] Youtube 480p? and how to turn down vibration amount? - HTC Desire 510

1. This phone has a 480p display, no? So why does youtube not have a 480p option; I've seen it on numerous other phones.
2. Is there a way to turn down the vibration amount for notifications? I know there is a setting for this in CM but rom is currently in alpha for this phone. The vibration is a bit too strong for me, compared to my old xperia. With my headphones on and some background noise the vibration is still very loud and startling even. I usually leave my phone on vibrate, so was wondering if there was an option to tone it down a bit.
Thanks

[Q] Very loud, but very weak vibration motor

Hi,
I've bought new Sony Xperia Z1 a few days ago and overall it's a great device, but there is one issue, which is very annoying for me.
The vibration motor is very loud, but at the same time vibrations are just weak, so that when the ringtone is set on the lowest level, the motor is louder than this ringtone and when I keep the phone in my pocket I can hardly feel anything when it's vibrating.
In the keyboard I've set the shortest possible vibrating time, but it still makes more sound than vibrations.
The pitch of the sound is increasing with the duration of the motor working: eg. when I push home button for one time, the sound is quite low (but still loud), but when I press a few times in a row the sound gets higher and even more irritating.
Is it normal behavior for this smartphone? It's very annoying, because vibration should be discrete way to notify me about incoming calls or text messages. The fact that it is louder than a normal ringtone makes it useless.
Is it possible to fix it via software or is it a hardware issue and I should send the phone to the repair center (i'm afraid to do it, because they've destroyed my phone in the past).
I have the same problem, sometimes it works, but mostly it is making a scratching sound.
I've turned off the vibration when pressing the screen/keyboard, makes too much noise.
It is probably a hardware issue, i want to fix it by myself, because i don't trust the repair centers.

vibration very weak here: if in pocket or on any surface I can hardly feel it

SMS notification sound really annoying can't turn off.

You know that noise that you hear when you receive a text message with the phone on vibrate / silent / do not disturb?
It really does my head in when I'm watching a video or movie via youtube or media player. It's so loud even at a lower volume it's probably the most disturbing notification sound even when receiving a phone call too.
I hope you guys know what I mean but I can't seem to be able to turn it off.
I got a Huawei P9.

Weird sound issues

Hey guys,
I am having weird sound issues with my new P10.
When setting ringer volume to certain level, it seems to only work with the ringer when somebody calls.
It does not have an influence on WhatsApp, Gmail, text messages etc. These do sound a LOT louder.
So, I can control call ringer just fine, but basically cannot control the volume for app notifications. I also tried to lower the volume for alarm, media etc, but these apps seem to be connected with the ringer volume slider (which is of course what one would expect) but they are much louder that the call ringer.
This is my first Huawei phone so I was hoping to find some setting for this, but no luck. This is really annoying. If I do not want Gmail notifications etc to be loud, I need to lower the ringer volume to minimum, but then I have issues to hear when someone calls
Any idea what is going on?

P10 Plus
The P10 Plus has a same issue.
Yep, it looks like notifications sounds are not only too loud but also still present when sound is "muted"
as a temporary workaround I reduced the volume of the notifications by editing the notification files on my pc. but I am really hoping that Huawei is going to fix this soon.
sound settings do not affect videocalling with facebook messenger on my P10.

Switching sound profile feedback

Hello,
I am curious if there is a way to disable sound profile switching feedback. For example when going from Normal to Vibrate there is a vibration, when going from Silent to Normal there is a beep. Also when using the Volume Up and Down buttons there is a beep. I want to disable it.
Best regards.
This beeping while adjusting volume with the side buttons is driving me crazy. The worst thing I have ever experienced with a phone. On my last galaxy there was option to disable the sound preview.

Force Stereo in landscape mode...?

I know that the P30 uses harmonic vibration through the screen to generate the sound for the earpiece speaker, but I'm wondering if there might be a way to enable and potentially force stereo mode?
The volume is quite loud on the earpiece speaker system, so it would be beneficial if it could be enabled...
This might be really great feature - even if phone would be vibrating a bit I would like having this. Ofc as optional feature with toggle button in quick access panel.
Hope this feature request might get it's way to the Huawei.
