I use adb tools to temporarily block a apk from boot.
echo connect to phone
adb shell
echo list all apk
pm list packages
echo block a apk
pm block com.package_name

Then use Root Explorer to move corresponding file from system disk to external memory, only when the phone has been working perfect for a while after pm block.

If you have roots you can use that to backup you system app that you want to remove, but i just made a full backup of my system in case off

Why would you block com.android.musicfx?
as far as I understand the phone uses it for the equalizer.
Also why block so many of the camera features?

here are some that may or may not be in your list.. I'm still trying to find how to block one app called ' Vine', also something called 'Hangouts'.

Speaking as a noob cake, do I have to type each one of those lines into CMD separately? Mind doesn't seem to let me paste one line, let alone all of them?

True. But debloater is different than disabling, plus it blocks things that can't be disabled, like Verizon Location.
Immediately disabled
How did you get your device to connect to the debloater app?

Also filter "motocare" and disable both apps.
I turned on show CPU and motocare runs almost nonstop. It's disturbing the amount of data it must be collecting

Chrome Beta or Chrome Dev depending on how buggy Dev is.
After using the debloater to disable apps, can you enable them with the debloater? I have never used it before. I've aways had a rooted phone and did it on my own

Yes you can. On the Moto Z you may be able to enable them from the phone by first finding the app in Apps > Show system then disabling and enabling as the apps still show there.
Does this have any effect on being able to take an update?
No.
And even if it did you could simply re enable everything in 2 minutes.

No. I took the update yesterday. But as seh6183 said, with a list you can undo, and redo, in minutes.
Thanks for the list.
Do you know what will disable the system updates?
Also, there is one that I disabled, something about MMS, that did not affect MMS or anything else. I am not at my computer so I can't see my list. I think you have a lot more than I have disabled though.

In addition to your list I have the following disabled and haven't seen any issues. I just enabled a bunch from your list, but I already had these. Not sure if it will mess up wifi calling or Verizon VVM because I don't use those.

As of yet no problems! I must says I always had some problems with my old redmi note 5 pro and tweaking the MIUI ROM. I eventually unlocked that phone and switched to lineageOS. But battery in MIUI was always better (of course as they have lots of tweaks).
I think the trick is to remove bloatware at the very beginning (before adding any accounts, or apps) and don't add/use your xiaomi account. I have now been using this debloated setup for a few days and have not encountered any issues. But anyway I am saying this with caution. I have not yet forgotten my MIUI struggles of the past.

Those in your list are perfectly fine for removal. Well, some people may get technical and say that it's not removed totally from the phone, but it is more than enough and does it's job for most people.

MIUI acts weird and most of the times I ended up with bootloop when some of the system apps are removed, and I had to flash fastboot ROM to recover the device. So my guess is disabling is always safer than removing the apps completely.

The apps on the list above should be safe to remove, I uninstalled most of them and had no issues even after rebooting. Apps proven to be unsafe to uninstall (bootloop) are Security and Cleaner, along with essential system apps/services obviously.

Yes, not all apps can be uninstalled because of the ****ty dependency xiaomi created for the ROM to boot.
Is it even safe to do? I mean supposedly MIUI 12.5 have system app removal option and update should come out soon.
In general it's safe if you know what you are doing/deleting. But with the "how to guide" you can manage it easily.
In Xiaomi.eu some of the apps in the list where just deleted in their rom. I couldn't find for example joyose or hybrid but others where still installed and ready for removing

With the new update you'll be able to uninstall only some apps, not that useful compared to the massive amount of bloatware. Like I already commented, the vast majority are safe to delete (exceptions being Security and Cleaner) and I had no issues so far.

That explanation is about widevine. Not about that particular package you're referring to. Custom ROMs don't have that package still widevine L1 works there which proves this is nothing more than bloatware. Atleast see the package name

ADB can't uninstall apps completely. You can only remove that for a particular user. And once you install it back it gets the 'system app' status again as it wasn't removed completely. Complete removal without any trace is possible only with root.

Thanks, it really helped. Just got a Poco F3 a few days ago. For some reason, my battery was down to 20ish % after a day's use, which is really unlikely with a new phone like this. For comparison, my previous Oneplus 6 which I've been using for almost 3 years had more or less the same battery level after a day's use.
Use the tool to debloat the majority of the things, and now I'm still at 80ish % for the day (although today's usage wasn't as hectic as normal, but yeah it's very effective)
in new adbfastboot tool version, getapps no longer can be disabled?
