[Q] Way to extract Micromax boot logo - Android One (First-Generation) Cross-Device Genera

Hi. I want to flash a new custom boot logo on my Canvas A1 phone. But before doing that, I want to extract the current bootlogo so that I can flash it back if I ever need to get my phone to the service centre and claim my warranty.
So, is there any way to extract the default Micromax bootlogo before flashing a new bootlogo?

Here you go.

Just untick oem n logo, then flash full stock rom.. I have already done this and this is safe too..

Help!!
Hey friends I downloaded the spice dream uno stock firmware from a thread in the android dev section when I downloaded the zip file it was not opening..... I've downloaded the file about 3 times and it doesn't open... pls help me ....
You can just use the following commands...
fastboot format userdata
fastboot format cache
You'll be out of boot loop. No need to flash another firmware.
u need to hav unlocked boot loader to flash ROM .
as the above guy said , u need to untick logo nd OEM ..and after unlocking boot loader type this command
fastboot -w
it formats user data
Oh, yes. I forgot to mention that. You can do that by using the below command.
fastboot oem unlock
Then you have to press volume button to confirm. BTW I faced the same issue when I flashed to pure android one ROM. It makes the device more generic. Like a nexus with Google boot logo and bloatwares removed. You can try that. Links available in thebroodle.com post.

Tried fastboot flash too. bootanimation logo doesnt not boot up. instead it looks like a damaged CRT TV
If your device is rooted, install ES file explorer and take the zip file from /device/system/media/bootanimation.zip
Sorry, if you know the procedure
Feeling sorta lost without stock bootlogo )

Did u check the permission of the zip file after u placed it in the /system/media folder
It should be rw-r--r--
The bootanimation zip is from the same folder extracted from my working moto x play. Permission discrepancies can cause the problem
Sorry. just checked it again. It worked. Thanks rksomayaji
Thanks a ton )

Anyone get this boot animation of moto demo ? Or make bootaninatoin zip ? It is very nice.
Just to say I get 'alternate' android black boot animation by means of 'disabling' stock white animation. It looks pretty much like this, but I have no idea where it is stored...

Thanks you for the guide. Got the sexy white moto logo back instead of anoying bootloader meessage.
Thank you man,
Good morning friends!
Could anyone help me?
I have a problem at startup in Moto X Play.
After unlocking the bootloader my device does not boot more straight to the android system.
The startup always falls on the screen Fastboot start.
I've given recovery factory ... reinstalled the original system via fastboot ... I tried everything, including using RSD Lite to no avail.
I do not know what else to do. Help me, because although the appliance is working, it's uncomfortable every time I restart it he always fall into the Fastboot start screen
.
Sorry my English.

Did you test the online update? I still doubt it works. No one answered my question. But as long as I don't have the possibility to restore original state, I don't dare to install it.

I am in a custom rom (Bliss 6), not sure about update. Since flashing that logo.bin, on reboot just shows Android with white background, no more warning texts and also Moto bootamination.
All three logos working good after flash it, but bootanimation did not starting. I'm copy bootanimation.zip in /system/media/ and set permissions, but no success.

Yes, you can for that you have to open the zip file (note8 zip is recommended) and open logo.jpg in paint.net/photoshop and start editing! and just replace the original logo.jpg with your logo.jpg!

I answered you here => https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77622808&postcount=4
I analized the system to understand where is the logo image on the spreadtrum j3 2016 (j3xlte,j3xnlte).
So the result is :
- all images are in a ustar tar archive as all samsung tar but without md5
- this tar archive is wrote raw at the beginning of the "/dev/block/platform/sdio_emmc/by-name/PARAM" partition ("/dev/block/mmcblk0p16")
- the tar archive is inside the BL file in the rom, the filename is "param.lfs"
- the PARAM partition have a size of 2MB (I dumped it with dd to check it "dd if=/dev/block/platform/sdio_emmc/by-name/PARAM of=/sdcard/PARAM.img")
So now I know all ... it was only by curiosity
