GMD Gesture Control - Shield Tablet Themes and Apps

Has anybody managed to get this to work with the Shield Tablet?

Are you running Lollipop ? Because the developer says in his description it doesn't work with Lollipop.

[Q] Google Experience Laucher?

Has anyone been able to get the GEL to work on their Xperia Z? I've tried a number of things and always get an immediate Google Search FC. I will keep working on it but wanted to ask the community if they were having any luck. Also, I should say that this is the T-Mobile variant that I'm working with so no option to unlock bootloader.
You have to download the Google settings for the updated GEL Launcher I had it working without issues.

Are you talking about the libgoogle_recognizer_jni_l.so file? If that's the case, then I already tried that. If not, can you point me in the right direction?

My device is Asus MemoPad 7 K017 running Kit-Kat 4.4.2, Kernel version 3.10.20, Build Number KVT49L.WW_MeMO_Pad-11.2.3.27-20141218 release-keys 044000281_2014060030.
I did have success with kingo, if you are having trouble, make sure tab is in de-bug mode and you check the pop-up asking to allow kingo to talk to device, it will come up on tab side. And if kingo still not working, try this apk. RootZenPhone. Before you root using this app, you must, i repeat, must, turn off wi-fi, and forget the network you are connected to. If you dont, you get stuck in this Asus Demo mode, no lock screen, and it keeps downloading a phantom update. My daughter also told me facebook would auto delete, and force close. if you have any more questions fire away

Run this, flash SuperSu (or just reboot and let it install su), and you're rooted. Universal solution for all OTA versions

I had to use the Sprocket app in the apps/themes forum to get notifications. I tried all the steps in other forums but none worked on lolliop and the sprocket app only allows SMS viewing/replying without the developer key. I havent paid for the key as i dont know if it works with the current version of the app.

Did you attempt this with the King Root or did you convert to SuperSU before trying?
Ok, late to the party as usual, but I got this little gem of a tablet. Bought through Costco came with 32gig and case for $!80, kitkat 4.4.4. I rooted via kingroot.net and then replaced kingsu witrh SuperSu by manual method. I downloaded and installed xpose but stopped before reboot install via regular recovery. I got cold feet and uninstalled xpose and have the apk sitting in my download folder just daring me to go for it. So, I too would like to know if xpose works for this great tablet for the split screen fuctionality among other tweaks. sincerely, Jah
Ok, went looking for some more information on this tablet and xpose framework and found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...10-70-root-t3279322/post64553052#post64553052 It seems to work only on KitKat. Hope this helps you decide to go ahead and get what you want.

yea, ill tell you why.. you NEED root for it to work. thats the only way. the only way that you can change system files is with root.
