[VOLUNTEERS NEEDED] Custom ROM Comparison Database for Lollipop - Nexus 5 General

The old ROM comparison chart is outdated and the structure is a bit messy, so I want to make a new one, exclusively for lollipop ROMs.
Lollipop Custom ROM Comparison Database
My info collection method:
1) Rom name + version number + XDA Link
2) Rom Logo
3) I start by visiting every stock menu entry (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Display) in settings app and write out the options that were added to stock lollipop.
4) Then, I write out added menu entries (themes, performance profiles).
5) Upload screenshots on imgur as a vertical album. (Or better: screenrecord extra menus and upload on youtube)
6) Insert imgur/youtube link at the end of the column.
7) Add rows if necessary.
To avoid trolling I made the document read-only. Download the original one edit it and attach it below.

Good attempt, hope this will grow slowly but steady.
We already have had a ROM comparison, but not related to Nexus 5, was more kind of general.
The guys moved to an Excel Online spread sheet now. But also, only general, not Nexus 5 related.
If you join them or if you do your own thing, I wish you all the best. But if you come up with a bigger comparison, let's say with 5 or more ROMs compared, drop a PM or post it in my Nexus 5 index thread and I will include it.

Added Cataclysm ROM and RastaPop

Added Dirty Unicorns 9.1

Hi, I'm one of the members of the team that started this and I can only thank you for mentioning it.
As you've said, we recently moved to Office 365 which allows us to expand and host a whole new range of features; it would be wonderful if you (OP) could check it out and maybe we could 'join forces'
Thanks

Clarify Please
Not to be a smart ass....
But Could you please explain how or what the colors / symbols mean please.
I get it opened up and it has light green and a light red with u's with dots on top.
What do they mean?
Green is ok, good working? Red is bad, not working?
Maybe some simple Y's and N's...
IDK
Thank you for the time to make the chart.
I'm about to upgrade to v5 Lolipop and Found it interesting, helpful.

I use Wingdings font, basically green is a checkmark and red is X

I really appreciate the work of your team, as I, myself have used your comparison database several times in the past, but as android was updated to lollipop and developers started rebuilding their roms, most of information in the database became inaccurate (at least for Nexus 5). For example Xposed is barely working, paranoid is just vanilla with theme engine (for now), dirty unicorns doesn't have pie, pac-rom is still stuck at kitkat and so on. That's why I had the idea to start fresh.
Also I wanted the feature list to be better organized and more intuitive.
As your database needs a serious renewal, I suggest we refine my feature list and than add roms step-by-step.

Update
Added Cyanogenmod 12 in Comparison Will add PA Alpha 1 and Slim LP soon

Very good,
I tried PA but v5.0 only has theme engine added , nothing more. They are still in early alpha, so let's wait.

add* Screw'd Android -

I can do for purity rom. As it is 1:23 am in India i will do it in the morning

Interesting project, I'll keep an eye on it.
Just wanted to report there are some inconsistencies with the Euphoria entry: it DOES have customizable quick tiles, long-press recents for last app, menu on both sides, 3+ tiles per row (3 or 4 to be precise).
Unfortunately I don't have time to mainatin the entry myself since I don't flash regularly so I'm usually not up to speed with the features.
Anyway, excellent work, bookmarked!

Awesome idea! I was looking for a comparison list of Lollipop ROMs. Can you add BlissPop too?

Just added BoostPop 2.8!

Hey, this looks pretty cool, and useful! I've always wanted a straight-forward, condensed list of ROM and kernel options, so I can easily decide which ROM I want to flash next. It's also nice to just have a Nexus 4 wiki. Consider it bookmarked.

Schism ROM (Discussion)

Seems very interesting. I'm gonna flash it here momentarily.
For the record, I'm in no way affiliated with the development or support for this ROM. I just happened to be told about it.
Update: It's AOSP based.
The white theming is nice for a change

Yeah the white theme is absolutely gorgeous. The downfall to it at this point is that some of the text is really difficult to read. It's an alpha and this is their first public release, so it will probably be fixed down the road. I also noticed that it will not take any custom DPIs either through its native customization options or via ROM Toolbox Pro. The ROM definitely has promise though, especially for an alpha. I wonder why the white theming isn't more widely used.
Would be nice if they posted here and complied with the regulations for roms. Wouldn't want some nasty hidden code in an unknown rom. Looks great though, loving the white ui.

I was going to download it until I read your post about it not being able to use custom DPI. That's a deal breaker for me.
I've bookmarked their site though, so will keep checking as it does look very promising.
For a ROM to be discussed here, the developers need to post a thread and provide support.

New icon, contributions are welcome! (completed)

For the next version (probably named 2.6), @GermainZ has made big contributions for a refreshed, more holofied design. I think this would be the right time to introduce a new logo as well. If you want to contribute, but can't code, this is your chance.
Some trivia about the current/old logo:
I quickly put it together when I first published the installer two years ago.
The "X" obviously stands for Xposed.
It's hardly visible in the resized icons, but the blood drops below the X actually read "posed".
The "deeper meaning" of the logo was to illustrate how Xposed hits right into the heart of Android, exposing functionality that wouldn't be possible otherwise.
I'm not involved in the Heartbleed bug, even tough it has been introduced around the same time.
Anyway, after two years, I think it could use a refresh. I have attached a draft, mainly based on work by @natezire71. It combines two ideas that I like a lot: "X" for Xposed, and a puzzle piece as a symbol for the modularity. As it will still take some more time until the next release, I thought I'd open this thread for improvements and new ideas.
Some guidelines:
The logo should reflect what Xposed is about. I like the puzzle idea, but there may be other good symbols.
Yet, it should be a rather simple shape to make it usable even for small icon sizes.
It should look nice on light and dark backgrounds.
The original image size should be 864x864 according to http://developer.android.com/design/style/iconography.html (I made the mistake to apply colors only to the resized copy, therefore the smaller attachment)
If possible, please use a file format like PSD with multiple layers for the individual elements and ideally vector graphics, that makes it much easier to edit/rearrange parts later (my example isn't good again, I had to get rid of layers to line up the X with the outline).
I'll see how the reactions are, then I'll decide if I like a single logo so much that I will use it, or put up a poll for you to choose one. Feel free to post just a sketch of your ideas to test how I like it (before putting much effort in finalizing it).

assuming that you're interested in feedback as well, my vote goes toward "non-pastel" colors. i prefer saturated colors over washed out stuff, basically putting quite some time to change ugly icons to my liking this is jus throwing in my dice, hope it's welcome
Current Devices:
I9100, PAC-ROM 4.3.1 ( Formerly Omni, PA, Dorimanx, etc. )
N7000, 4.1.2 TouchWizz All Stock ( very motivating to continue flashing custom roms further haha.... )
N7100, Cyanogenmod 11, Xposed Framework ( Formerly AOSNP, PAC, Omni, PA, Devil, Thor, AGNI up to 2.7.6, etc. )
Nexus 4, Cataclysm 4.4.2, Franco Kernel r203, Dalvik & Bionic Patched, Xposed Framework ( Formerly PAC, PA, Cataclysm, Faux, etc. )
Nexus 5, Cyanogenmod 11, ElementalX, Xposed, ( Formerly Cataclysm, Franco & FKU Color Control, Dalvik & Bionic, Faux, Bricked, Chaos etc. )
Sure, feedback is welcome! I definitely have more skills in software development than in graphic design.

Thanks! But keep in mind that icons are displayed at small sizes, e.g in the title bar of the app. I'm afraid that the details in @DD-Ripper's suggestion will get lost at such sizes. Then it wouldn't be much more than a blue circle.

@rovo89 I have an awesome idea for a new icon since then. Give me a few days to make it--Finals are on my heels.
Also, have people actually accused you having something to do with Heartbleed?
Simple might be better, yes. I prefer something clean and serious.

EDIT: I will be honest--this isn't an original design. The "Moonshine" icon pack has an icon very similar to this. I like that icon for Xposed, but thought it could be better.

I agree, I like the clean style. @DD-Ripper, did you plan that that the icon should have a opaque background, possibly with slightly rounded corners, or would the background be transparent? Transparent would probably create clearer outlines, but requires outlines in the icon itself (e.g. your latest suggestion would not work on a white background).
Could you post a preview with just the icon, resized to 48x48 px (used for medium resolution), so we get a better impression what it would look like on a phone with less details?

How about removing the hardware button on the phone? We aren't iPhones; if anything, it should be modeled after a Nexus device.

Please not though, all 5.1 ROMs are incomplete compared to 5.0.x because they don't yet have the ambient display invert commits added, so expect some problems on 5.1

Thanks! Got alot to learn but should have a replica build by Monday, then I'll spend my time learning and waiting for a new source code with a Sammy update or if I change something I personally like more.
You should ask Stang, he fixed the Lockscreen issue so you shouldn't have to run into it anymore if he tells ya how!!

Looking good bro. Putting things together like a seasoned pro! Congrats on the release!
For the users in the community, you have been blessed with a new developer in this community of so few devs so I suggest showing appreciation and being active in ROM development conversations!
The man asked for some feedback and it looks like close to 20 people have installed the ROM.
Not asking much or anything in particular, just some feedback on how install went or how things are running. I'm sure he is open for suggestions or possibly requests?
This ROM is brand new with a clean slate for crafting into something "YOU" want!
So let's keep this place alive and give you another solid ROM option.
I mean really there are only a few active ROMs and that number will only shrink with time.
It really doesn't take much to keep a dev motivated, but the same goes for making a device lose motivation with no interest.
This guy is hot, pumped to be building and I know with a little interest this ROM could be the go to ROM for users looking for an improvement over stock!
