[APK] Camera Next - MODDED

Modded Camera
This is my modded version of the CM CameraNext app. I decided to share this because I have seen many people want to use the Color OS camera because of its low light performance. So far, I have implemented the 16 and 32 second shutter delay and I might add more later on.
•Requirements:
root if on cm11s to uninstall stock camera
your camera must support the slow shutter scene mode to use the shutter option. Otherwise it won't do anything.

Use the second option
To use it, you must change the scene mode to "slow shutter" and then select the speed. If you don't have this scene available, then your camera does not support it and won't work.
I have attached sample images below taken with different shutter speeds (1/2, 1, 2, 8, 16, 32) and with an ISO of 100 at night. Feel free to let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions

App work on CM11

humm... its still not working, i tried out with IMER's CM11. Which rom do you use?

Hello! Today I want to share my very first project here (so do not be too rude with me )
First of all this mod is a porting of CAF' Snapdragon Camera, so a very big thanks to @Sultanxda for the base.
In this mod I've tried to add almost all features from OnePlus One CameraNext, with some special others, so thank you @CyanogenMod too.
A very special thanks go to @BOOTMGR for his awesome patched HAL camera driver! (To use this mod you have to flash his CM_HAL_MOD.zip)
Features:​
First of all let's explain why "semi-manual": With this mod you can control: Manual Focus, Manual White Balance, Manual Shutter Speed, Manual Exposure Compensation and 3 different RAW capture options (with DNG conversion).
Is still semi because ISO cannot be controlled manually.
All these features are made WITHOUT Camera2 APIs.

How to install
--- Prerequisites

- Install latest LuckyPatcher
- Open Xposed and active LuckyPatcher module
- Reboot
- Install as normal APK
if you cannot use Xposed you should open LuckyPatcher and apply all possible patches to Android Core (in tools options), then try to install as normal APK
Important Notes:
To install you should have Xposed with LuckyPatcher module activated (Or maybe it works also if you install as a simple system app, try it)
In this mod I have unlocked all possible features. Sometime you can choose an option that is not compatible with another and the camera might crash or freeze or something else. Don't worry, just clear the camera from recent apps (or in extreme cases Clear App Data).
Zero Shutter Lag has always to be ON when you use flash, otherwise you will have splitted image.
Zero Shutter Lag is not compatible with Continuous Auto Focus (CAF) so do not use it with ZSL enabled.
Probably when you will launch this app for the first time shutter button will not work, simply just clear the camera from recent apps and reopen.
If you launch CameraNext first, and then SnapCam Mod, shutter button will not work (I really don't know why), again just clear two cameras from recent apps and all should work fine.
In other words: if something doesn't work clear camera from recent apps
This Mod works only on OnePlus One (AKA Bacon) with patched HAL driver! Maybe on Find7 too, but I don't know.
You can test with others devices but remember that Manual Focus will never work.
Tested only with COS12.1 - I've patched the file media_profiles.xml to have better video quality.. If you want to try just download it from here and replace the original in "/system/etc/" folder, then reboot (do a backup first).
It should works also with CM12.1, let me know.
On CAF based ROMs might have some limitation due to CAF settings.
That's all I think, for the next weeks I will be very busy with work so I've decided to release it also if is not finished yet. Hope you will like!

You just need Cyanogen OS 12.1, caf ROM is not required
I'm so sorry but to make Snapdragon Camera working on non caf ROM I've to access to android hidden API (android.hardware.camera) so to install you should have xposed with LuckyPatcher module actived, or maybe if you have only root try to install as system app

I'm sorry but LuckyPatcher is the only way that I know to install this kind of apps..
Why you can't use it?

I guess that's a restriction included in rom to protect the Hard work of many app developers
Edit : I'm gonna try in on minimal os tomorrow one time permits. Will report back.

Have you installed LuckyPatcher module for Xposed first?
Basically android does not permit to install app with system android package, to communicate with HAL driver I've included in the app mine android.hardware.camera package so you must patch android core with LuckyPatcher in order to install the app

Okay, that worked.. I needed a reboot.. HDR seems functional, but slow shutter FC's.. Looks like a nice app, happy to see where this goes..

Have you flashed CM_HAL_MOD.zip provided by @BOOTMGR in his ColorOS camera port?
All manual features in this mod works only with this patched driver

It's only when I set it for more than 2 seconds it FC's.. May be just the Caf limitations..

Yes, you're right the problem is in native code to set camera parameters.. Well CAF ROM is not fully supported

[MOD]Camera NX V7.4, Google Camera with Pixel features for Nexus2015

Hello N6P users, I succeed in getting the ZSL HDR+ works on Nexus 5X, as Nexus 6P has the same camera hardware and better SoC, I'd like to ask someone test my mod, to see if the function works.
What's ZSL HDR+?
ZSL = zero shooting lag, means you won't get camera freeze after taking a HDR+ auto shoot. it is build-in the Google Camera 4.2 and only works on Pixel phones, now I force the app using Pixel configuration, it should perform the same ZSL HDR+ shooting on Nexus 6P.
Details about the ZSL HDR+.
ZSL-enhanced For 8.0+ only, ZSL HDR+ For 7.1.1+ only, Android 7.0 users please use NoZSL version.
APK was signed by ZipSign using my own signature, it won't replace your default camera app, it will install as a normal app, with a different camera icon.

This is bug fix version, not only for Pixel 2016, everyone who is using enhanced version should grab this update.
1. Fix crash issue on Pixel 2016.
2. Fix provider author name mistake leads to a thumbnail generation issue.
3. Motion pictures should be saved with a file name "MVIMG-####-##" right now, it became "IMG-####-##" in V7.1 version, which was wrong, this might mess the G photos when index media files.
Enhanced version users should get the experimental2017 library now.
Sorry, after some more test it seems experimental2017 is not necessary, just install the new version it will be ok.
About the Lens photo editor, it will be available after the picture upload to Google cloud.

-- Now there is a new ZSL-enhanced version for Motion photos, G-photos combine, diet smart-burst on Android 8.x.

-- Bugs: after shooting photos, review it and you will see a black screen, need to wait for HDR+ process, I don't know it is normal or just hardware limited.

Argh already using v3.1 but can't test v4 cos I'm under 7.0 ...

Works great. The zero lag is true for sure. Not a big camera user but it seems to do what is advertised.

Get black screen only on nitrogen rom. But have custom kernel installed

Works great on 7.1.1 even with ElementalX 3.08!! There is some lag when its moving around, the regular camera doesnt have this, but its probably what makes the ZSL possible! There is still some lag with HDR+ on, but none with HDR Auto

btw this is working mint dude. good job. plan to keep it updated? id def choose this over the stock dp'7.1 camera

He said loud and clear this is for dev preview 7.1.1, there is an older version for 7.0, and nitrogen falls in neither of those, because its 7.1.0 !!!
And @op great job, this is fantastic. Now if only 1080p 60fps worked, it would be a dream

Can you try using ex kernel to see if it works? I think its the kernel thing, when we have the 7.1 kernel source we might get it work on 7.0.

Good to see custom 7.0 kernel on 7.1.1 did not break the camera, I would like to see some one on 7.0 using ex 3.08 kernel can get camera usable.

By lag I meant shutter lag with hdr+ on. With hdr auto, it works like a charm with zero shutter lag. This is all in the NZ Camera

Ah I see. I would like to ask if the zsl also works if you turn off the HDR+ ? As no zsl switch inside the app for N6P, only one for N5X and it is disabled by default...
I force it enable for N5X, but for N6P I dont know if it is enabled or not.
I suppose it is enabled as the bursts mode needs it.

Yea with hdr off there is Zero shutter lag

[APP] Latest Bug free Working Gcam Ver 6.1 from Arnova8G2 for 6gb users

New Google cam version 6.1 from Arnova8G2 without any bugs
Tested in ZENUI semi GSI
Stock version 338 ie latest update oreo unrooted device
Install it as a clean version ,
Do not open slowmotion disable it from settings
open camera settings and disable slowmotion at first
from the settings
slowmotion cause crash due to that some features might crash and stuck so disable slow motion at first from the settings menu ,
If you found any features not working or crashing remove gcam apps in the same version and install this as clean version
for portrait enable it from settings default is lens blur
whats working in 6gb model ,
Everything ,except slowmotion which our device lack driver level implementation
If you found green tint in front cam remove app and reinstall or try to fix with the settings

Its not bug free at all. the camera shutter button grey's out every time after clicking 2 or more photos.
and when i start recording any video and again move to the photo mode the camera wont click any pictures.
there isnt any background process.
tested in my Max pro M1 6gb ( Camera2Api Enabled).
i have to everytime clear the data and then restart the phone just to click 2 more pictures.
Let me know on what setting have you kept the camera mod on?

But still many gcam mods like arnova's ,csstarks etc crashes..
It says close app..
I have checked manual camera compatibility app..it shows all green ticks..
So if anyone know..

Camera shutter button not working in potrait mode... Hdr+ enhanced mode not working .... This is the major issues

Use footej camera or the default snapdragon camera because gcam is not yet ported sucessfully

No issues, everything working perfectly for now

I'm using V8.3 build 5.1.018.177624777 without problems. Should I remove that and then install it? Also what changes are present between the version I'm using and this? The existing version is working great, and the reviews for this current build have been mixed based on the comments here. Please guide.

v 8.3.b1 is the most stable till now, albeit without night sight.

I think 4k video recording has EIS support in the app. As the video is getting cropped in when video stabilization is enabled. Can anyone verify it

I think 4k video recording has EIS support in the app. As the video is getting cropped in when video stabilization is enabled. Can anyone verify it

Only the Viewfinder is stabilized and not the actual video. The video recording which is saved is without EIS. as our hardware doesn't support 4K video stabilization.

STEPS TO INSTALL THIS PORT:-
1- First install the apk of GCam given in link(GoogleDrive) in the top of the thread.Also download given XML for best results.
2-Put your XML file to location storage/GCam/Configs7 .I recommend you to create manually all folders if it is not there.
3- Simply open app and double tap on black screen of your GCam,in the one side of shutter button.
4- Then load the XML file and BOOM you had loaded the settings of GCam.
5- Finally, now you can start shooting your awesome images.

For viewfinder lag you have to root your Device and flash Magisk Module(Realme Buffer Fix)

Why on "other" ( where you can find panorama setting) there is no lag?

I don't know if "thank you very much" is enough for this. I've been looking for a stable Gcam for realme 6 for a very long time. And this is the most stable version. I am very lucky. Keep it up bro.
Let me address some issues:
1. Night sight isn't working for front camera.
2. Face retouch for back camera (it is working in the front camera only)

For fixing NightSight you have to off [Sabre] by going in ImageSetting.Then it will work for Front Camera Also.

Its a very good gcam appreciated,

Since I bought the phone I have been using another mode for realme 6. The main thing I miss was the Asto mode. Thanks to this one, it works well. Also the noise reduction was far better compared to the previous mod during low light situations, which has been horrible. Really appreciate your work. Hoping for future mods and apps. In the next version please enable the option to manual controls fro HDR+ mode also so that we could use thisapp instead of stock app for manual mode.

Rooted Realme 6, with the buffer fix its not working at all EXCEPT on the "others" tab its picking up camera images, all the others are black. they do work without the buffer fix but laggy. any solution?

Guys! I found new and best version gcam for realme 6. Only slow motion won't work. Other modes work perfect and photo quality better.

There is no option even under night mode. Is there any way to enable it? (Astro Photography)
