5.0.2...not on US Cellular, so I'm not going to mess with this. But can you tell if the camera2 api has been implemented? Because that would be fantastic.

when did 5.0.2 been released? we r still waiting for it on the pure edition XT1095

Been running the Chinese 5.0.2 stock ROM for a couple days. No real problems. I flashed PA Gapps to get Google services back, but no problems overall. Very curious to give this a try too... Anyone know if it'd be the same process (simply flash boot and system)?
Chinese ROM found here:

Use either rsdlite or mfastboot to flash it but just beware if things go bad you can not downgrade, so as a rule , flash only your specific carriers sbf firmware

Im scared bro, now i don't know if i should install 4.4.2 . if is not to much to ask ¿can you bring me some light of this?

Guys, i dont want to be a pain in the a**, so before of everything i just want to thank you again.
I readed both post, but im still scared.
This is my actual situation:
1.- I dont have any 4.4.2 SFB backup of my specific carrier because its Nextel, and doesnt even exist on the Motorola Firmware Page.
2.- Im on 4.4 (Retail Brasil) whit the modem of T-mobile (because when i flashed the Retail Brasil i lost all the signal).
3.- I readed that the XT1053 its for T-Mobile US, Dev Ed and i flashed a brasilian! Really im going crazy.
¿What would you do?...
1.- Flash the 4.4 of T-Mobile and stay there.
2.- ¿Flash another 4.4.2?
Damn, my stomach hurts...

So don't flash any sbf , chances if you lose your signal you'll have an expensive coffee table ornament. Youre better off flashing kangakat ROM and stay away from flashing sbf firmware unless your carrier specific sbf firmware is available

Before of that i will do this (its my last try):
I will flash the T-Mobile 4.4, if everything works fine I will upgrade to 4.4.2 of the same company (I founded ).
But, if I flash 4.4 and I see something wrong I will stay there and use only customs.
So one las question : In theory... ¿can I change between 4.4 of x carrier to another 4.4 of x carrier?

[Q] Android 5.0 Lollipop on XT1063

I heard that the Moto G got Android Lollipop in the US and i bought a XT1063 in the US and than brought is to Israel (the phone is working perfectly fine) so why don't i get the OTA update?
Because the update is for xt1064, not xt1063.
xt1064 = US/Canada single sim
xt1063 = Global single sim
When will it come out on the xt1063?
Sent from my XT1063
Soak Test
From what i've been told its its a soak test so you may or may not see it, depending if you're a member of motorola feedback network. I got a notification of the update on my XT1063 at 12am EST but forgot to capture it, nor was I able to install it... since I had TWRP. now I have to wait for the final release, or for someone else who has an XT1063 to post theirs.
I got it
Last night (11/11) I checked for updates and there it was...! I have an XT1063 and I'm in Venezuela, so I believe this is a global rollout as some sources say, not a soak test.
BTW... It rocks !!! :good:

By any chance you can post the OTA here? So everyone can flash it.
So it turns out my download ended up being corrupted so instead of waiting i flashed the firmware of the 1064 minus the modem and installed the update floating around on here, was it the best idea maybe not but it worked for me, that being said if you are to go that route do so at your own risk.

I highly recommend that anyone who has a PR or Mexican Moto Maxxs to switch to the BR build as they seem to be getting the most updates(also this process DOESN'T wipe your data!).
Thanks again!

Total green horn at this. Need help with xt1097 and T-Mobile.

Hi.
So I bought this xt1097 AT&T branded.
I would like to keep only one feature from T-Mobile and it's WiFi calling. Rest of the phone can be stock Motorola.
Is it possible to flash any ROM that would have T-Mobile WiFi calling?
Oh the phone is 5.1 already.

I was under the impression that the moto x 2014 does not have wifi calling. Which means that flashing another rom won't give you it either.

Make sure that you have a Moto X XT1060 by going into bootloader and scanning the barcode from there.
I am saying this because i had the same issue but when i entered in bootloader and scanned the barcode the model of my Moto X was XT1056 not 1060.

Hello guys !
Been searching around for a solution and got here. I have a Moto XT 1060 with locked bootloader and running 5.1. Can anybody help me unlock the bootloader and/or root the phone 'safely'?
So far ive found one method to root it but its unsafe and there is virtually no way to unlock the bootloader. Any solutions will be appreciated.
I am also from Karachi and can come to Sadar if required.
Thanks

Am also facing the same problem. I upgrade my moto x to lollipop and since then my sim is not working.
Did you flash the "modem" and the new boot sectors too? In the manual flash it's "optional". I remember I had to do it manually from 4.4.4
