Hello and sorry if this question has been asked before... but I couldn't solve my problem with older answers...
I just bought a HTC Desire 510...everything is alright just that I can't send sms... I receive calls and sms... I can also make calls...just can't send sms. I restarted, did factory reset, installed other sms apps but didn't work.
any idea?

hey guys, i just got my touch diamond but the problem is that i can't send out text messages. I could receive them fine but can't send them out. it gives me error message saying that "your text message cannot be sent". please can someone help me. thank you
Search the Diamond forums. In most cases replacing the SIM card with a newer SIM card solved the problem. It worked for me.
I got the same problem when I got my diamond
may be you can try "clear memory"
I tried that and I can send messages

Is your SMS Service Center set correctly?

I have a problem with my HTC Touch Diamond.
When i try to send a sms to a random person, that person receives the sms fine.
But when i try to send a sms to Mr. A, Mr A doesn't receive the sms.
It just happens with 1 person.
I tried to call that contact, it works fine.
I tried to receive a sms from that contact, no problem.
But when i try to send a sms to that contact, the sms will never arrive.
Might there be some kind of blackbook in my phone or maybe you know the answer?

I would try to get somebody you know on the same network as you to
try and send the sms some phone companys if you use a different one
then mr A that is
have a very poor support devlivering stuff back and forth from 1 operator to another
My SMS messages wont send anymore. I just installed a new ROM, perhaps that would fix the problem, but no, still the problem. Last week there was no problem with sending them, but i tried today sending an sms but got the message, sms not send. Provider is Vodafone NL

Yes,
working fine, Another sim card, same problem. Allready the second rom, still the same prob. The sim card in another phone gives no prob with sms. Its a problem in/with the phone.

Lately i have been trying all kind of roms on my mobile, but they all seem to have the same problem. sometimes when i try to send an sms it does not send it or it sends it many hours after i pressed send. wich is really anoying. (last time i also recieved an sms many hours after )
when i reset my device and go to sms folder i can force it to send it. ( so after reboot it somehow resends the sms automaticly ) or i get the error can not send sms.
So is this a known problem?
i thought it was the provider first. but since it has been doing it for weeks i am not sure about that.

I dropped my I9000 on the floor and then i had to reset to factory settings. Everything works fine, I can call, I can receive/send SMS messages but I can't receive calls. The phone has ICS installed by a friend, i'm a noob when it comes to android. Any ideas ?
