Froyo again taken offline until middle of November

Bad news for Samsung the Galaxy S owners among us. Samsung had started rolling out the update to Froyo (Android 2.2) but has released the update again taken offline. The reason is the large number of complaints about the speed of the Galaxy s after the update. Also came bugs above table. Apparently works the OS on the Galaxy S not as it should and can display the programmers of Samsung.
Many users complained, inter alia, on Twitter about the slowness of the Galaxy S while the update of the speed goes up. This is due to the speedy Dalvik JIT-compiler based Froyo.
As the flag there now hangs in the middle of November the update will continue to be rolled out. Hopefully, Samsung has set aside enough time to solve the problems and the update actually going again in november. In addition to a speed improvement must in particular GPS also run more smoothly.

Lollipop update?

I just got an update pushed to my phone. First is it lollipop? Second, should I accept it? Like will it destroy having root or anything again?
I figured I'd post in general just so there could be a spot for discussion about it.

What version of Android are youon? 4.4.2 or 4.4.4? If the latter then it possibly could be Lollipop. What's the size of the update? A lot more info is needed.

It isn't Lollipop. Just installed the update. To be honest the only change I've noticed is that I now have the Uber app. That might have been there before and I never noticed though.

I was unable to update my note 3 but the size was 469 mb or something close to that.

Hey Mate,
Very well organized, I too have Bronz Gold. I see you have latest icons on your device which Samsung updated on S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+ and Note 5. Which ROM do you have? I guess this is the latest build.
Kindly share your ROM details and also others who has latest icons.

Yeah i am just like you, refreshing the forum and sammobile site to get to know about the MM for N910F. I am anxiously waiting to get MM update for my Note 4 and ended up on this picture which shows the updating of New firmware of N910F.
Lets hope the best that it will MM

You'll find your answers, particularly in post #9 in that thread. Note, the instructions are for the Tab S7, so anywhere it says Tab S7, just replace that with your model, so don't literally use the Tab S7 bootloader.

You have a point, but I think it's better to show new users how to find what they're looking for.
If I had time, I'd make a How To Guide thread, but I don't and probably won't have time for that, and I also don't like making a guide for a device I haven't received yet.
