i am requesting a port of Ubuntu Touch for Moto E gen1, its an awesome cheap and well performing device. If no devs are interested in making it happen, I would try to port it myself. Being my first ever port it will take long time, any kind of help or replies will be appriciated.

I'm getting a brand new 2015 Moto E in the following weeks so this means I will stop mantaining p970.
Don't panic; I will do my ocassional commit here and there and build once I get the Lollipop sources,
I just won't hang out here much. My GitHub repos will be unmantained though, so change the sync urls. I will commit
sometimes, don't panic.
It's been an amazing ride full of learning for me, and you all helped immensely. I won't forget the p970 community, ever.

The title says it all. I'm an amateur c developer and I want to write custom firmware for my phone as it is undersupported. If anyone has any advice on the quirks of the moto g power 2021 let me know. So far root is working so that's good, but generic system images are kind of annoying. Thanks for any help, guys!
