[Q] No Service with Rom´s higher than 4.1.2 - Galaxy S III Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

First Sorry for my Englisch
I have the I8190 originally 3AT but now unlocked. My problem is if i flash any Samsung based or stock 4.1.2 firmware all works fine, i have service, wifi and 3g but if i flash any custom rom higher than 4.1.2 like CM 10, 11 or 12, Omni or Miui i have no service but wifi works correct.
I make a efs and modem backup from stock rom and restored it on every custom rom but it doesent work.
Did anyone have an idea?
Thanks

Phone Info says unknown Bootloader maybe that is the Problem. Can anyone upload a odin flashable bootloader for GT-I8190? Not the N/L or something only 8190.

Flash N910T with F910F ROM
Hello guys, I need your help. I got as I thought SM-N910F brand new in Russia with 4.4 KK. It worked fine except for being weak to work with 3G. 4G was OK. Russian localization was OK. When I tried to update the ROM, I discovered this device is not 910F but unlocked 910t instead. While experimenting with flash, I damaged efs. Then I restored it with Kies flashing stock ROM. So now I'be got lollipop phone which says "insert T-mobile SIM".
SI my idea is to flash it with some European ROM which support Russian language. Possibly, some 910f mod? Can somebody suggest which ROM to flash? Unfortunately, I didn't backup original ROM.

You cannot flash a N910T phone with a N910F custom or stock twrp flashable zip file rom.
What you need to do now is to find, download and ODIN flash the official firmware which
came with your phone in order to get your phone working properly again.
Sorry about that,
Have a great day!

Thank you, Misterjunky. There is no such a thing as "official firmware" for my phone. Because it was brought to Russia and unlocked unofficially as I can see now. They even changed the phone label on the back side. So they flash some custom firmware, I think so but I have no idea which one.
To put it more clear, what i have now is exactly official firmware. I've got it with Samsung Kies Tools - Firmware upgrade and initialization which downloads the official firmware based on model name and serial number. But unfortunately this is not what I need because it doesn't accept my local SIM
BoBCaTROM by @turilo worked for my device:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...cial-bobcatromn910fton910tw8-v2-0nk5-t2992648
But the problem with 3G persists. Device works with 2G and 4G without problem, but doesn't work with 3G. Any ideas how to adapt modem from 910C to this model?

Need Help/Question about installing different official rom

I have sprint version of moto X (it's XT1056) , i unlocked it and i'm using it on gsm carrier . it's Bootloader unlocked.
I'm trying to convert it on EU version (1052) , i've flashed XT1052 stock lollipop rom with RSDLite , but i've lost IMEI/Baseband, after that i've recovered them with flashing fsb and nhlos files from sprint official kitkat rom.
So , this is a part where i need help, isn't there any way to flash 1052(in my case) official rom with working baseband and phone functions?

Hello All
I have unlocked bootloader and rooted my P9, but have recentley seen an OTA come through to turn my current version to B160.
I understand that I need to flash a stock Rom in it's entirety (re-lock BL and lose root) before I can proceed with the OTA?
The issue I have now is that my current build number does not appear to be available anywhere as a stock rom. I am in the UK and with the 'Three' network.
If anyone can point me to the stock ROM for my build or can recommend another stock Rom to flash that will work without issues, I'd very much appreciate it? :good:

Stock firmware for i6500D

Hey guys!
So I have this Galaxy mini GT-I6500D locked to T-mobile Croatia. The phone is stuck in bootloop because my friend tried to install a custom rom and he messed something up. I want to try and install stock samsung firmware but i cant find Croatian T-mobile compatible software. I tried Sammobile but when I tried to download the firmware it just says error 404 file not found.
Now I am wondering what would happen if i install regular I6500D software (not croatia t-mobile) and also if i wanted to install a custom rom can i install any I6500D rom.
Thanks in advance!

restoring backed up stock roms modem to a custom rom

I would just like to know what would happen if i tried restoring a backed up version of the stock modem that come with my phone through TWRP. would it be safe or would i have a bricked phone by the end of it?
hi,
though I'm not experienced with that, it appears to be safe to restore a modem at the Redmi Note 4X.
Unsure about Redmi 4X but I'm interested too.
edit: there's already a discussion about flashing modems at XDA unter FIRMWARES:

What is unsafe is having a Marshmallow firmware for a Nougat ROM and up, if you plan to use Nougat or newer I'd recommend flashing 37_PA, the newest firmware from Global Dev MIUI, firmwares should be always universal unless it's noted, some MIUI update also comes with a firmware, if you see some Nougat ROM they'll ask you to update to a newer firmware if you were on Marshmallow, which is why MIUI 8 (MM) to 9 (N) will also update your firmware
TLDR; if your backed up firmware is from Marshmallow and your ROM is Nougat or newer no it's not safe, otherwise everything is good, if you want to update firmware just flash the boot.img from TWRP
hey thatnks much imma check it out
alright ill try this out as well thank you
