Fix sdcard for d2005 - Sony Xperia E1

Hey , Lets go to the point , in android 4.4.x (Kitkat) google has lock acces for write (modify) file(s) in sdcard , but there are many fix.
I will give you the solution, this is an fix ,
Push it to system/etc/permissions
http://goo.gl/pV3epU
Now you can modify file(s) in sdcard via 3rd party app !
Hit the Thanks button if you helped :good:

Or, you can just search for SD Card Fixer in Google Play.
But anyways, It's nice

Or, you can just install HandleExternalStorage or KitKat SD Card Full Access xposed module.

I dont like 3rd party app for problem like this, except file manager. Goodbye xposed

If you not have a partitions for extend the internal memory you not can put the maps on sdcard why go in force close (already tried) why the maps not have a support for the sdcard but can only be installed on internal memory, instead the gmail i don't know because i not have tried, however there are 2 solutions:
1. Replace the default maps installed in the system with the upgrade (this is the best solution and i do always in this way).
2. Try to use the application Install Manager that force the moving of all apps on sdcard (also the apps that not support the moving on sdcard) but this app on my device (stock rom froyo 2.2.1) not see the upgrade of the apps of system but maybe on your device with the custom rom cyanogenmod 7 see the upgrade then try, if also in your rom not see the upgrade then the only way and the best is the first writted in up.

i tried ur install manager method.. it didnt work bcoz install manager needs pro license to move system apps..

Then take a pro version where is the problem? if not put the upgrades in the system manually with one program as es file explorer or root explorer, is very easy trust of me, do a backup of apk of maps (upgrade) then uninstall the upgrade, then rename the backup in Maps.apk, then copy Maps.apk and go in system/app delete the maps preinstalled and then paste Maps.apk, then change the permissions in this mode:
[V][V][0]
[V][0][0]
[V][0][0]
After have changed the permissions exit and reboot the phone.

How to add apps to JB Rooted Custom ROM?

Good day Every one my question is what is the process of adding apps to new custom JB ROM in LG Optimus 4x HD?
I did try to search the forum but was not able to find related topics for my mobile phone. (sorry if I am wrong.)
Thanks for the help.
Download any root explorer from play store (for example "Root Browser" ) .
Go to (/system/app) ,, there you will find the system apps in *.apks and the extend of them which are *.odex .
To add an app , simply copy it to /system/app ,, then press and hold on it ,, choose "permissions" and set it as the following (rw-r--r--) : -
That's all .
Good Luck .
#------------------------------------------
echo "Sender.product.model=LG-P880" # (O4X) .
if [ $thanks -eq $pressed ] ; then
thanks_meter=$((${thanks_meter} + 1)) ; fi #Press it

What do you mean by "adding apps"? I suppose that you already know that you can download apps via Play Store, or you can download apps to your PC, transfer them to your phone via USB and then install them using file explorers like ES, Astro etc (they're also available via Play Store). On the other hand, you mentioned some custom roms. Do you have some problems with app installing on your custom rom? Can you be a little more specific?

I have got my answer thank you.
OS_Hacking understood what I was looking for.
One more question can I apply the same method for some of the installed apps from google playstore to move into system folder ( i mean the complete installed folder from whats app? for example.) or I need to uninstall those apps and then copy the .apk files into system folder and then reboot so that particualr app becomes the part of system files?
OS_Hacking by the way whats is the name of that font being used by you on that display bild

You liked that font ? ,, it's from an old backup from my old phone (optimus 3D) in android 2.2 . this font is called "Love" .
I uploaded it to you ,, just rename it to any exiting system font (e.g. HYTravel.ttf)
then replace it in /system/fonts ,, replace "HYTravel.ttf" and "HYTravel_Bold.ttf" with this font ,, then fix permission (the same for system apps) .
reboot and go to settings ,, you should see it instead of HYTravel .
about system apps ,, not all *.apk(s) are allowed to be in both /data/app and /system/app .
Because every apk has an extend in *.dex (which is located in /data/dalvik-cache) or in *.odex (which is located in /system/app) .
and if you install the apk on both of them it will mess up .
Some apk(s) will work and some not .
Good Luck .
Thanx Dude.

[Q] Miui v6 GAPPS force close

Hi togehter,
I updated to MIUI V6 4.8.29 yesterday. Right now I have the problem that GAPPS aren't working so whatever I do.
I installed from the MiMarket Google installer and tried to install Google Play and the other 3 required apps, but always when I launch the Play Store this message comes across me (too stupid to upload, just look here LINK ).
I also tried to just flash normal Anroid 4.4.4 GAPPS from the internet but thats neither working. None of the apps is showing up, just as I never installed anything.
So right now I'm in troubles... Hope you guys can help me

Tried them already, failed during installation in CWM..
Had the same problem, you need to update Play Store.
Download google installer, install all the google apps you need, then download and install this: http://www60.zippyshare.com/v/95809041/file.html then restart the phone. That should work.
The only gapp that force closes is the Play Store. The rest work as it should.
Try uninstall Google Play and reinstall it, work for me.
Thanks for the answers: as in another forum mentioned, reinstalling Google installer and then install the Play Store at last worked for me.
But your ways probably work too!
Greetings
Hi there,
If anyone still encountering FC/not dowloading apps for Playstore or market, it might also be the cause of new partition or something like that, you can try this another option freely other than fixing permission of vending.apk on /system/app/..
This might help you guys .
1. check if cache folder has "download" folder inside it, if it no download folder then create one inside /cache, e.g. mkdir /cache/download.
2. then chmod the /cache folder to 777, also make sure the com.android.vending folder is present inside /data/data/ folder.
3. You can achive it through shell terminal.
Hope this helps you guys fix the FC(Force close or not downloading apps on playstore or market).
Hit thanks if it helps.
Thanks

If your phones rooted, open any app that can show you the full list of permissions, services, etc, of the playstore, and any app (play services, framework, etc..) and enable them all. I did everything that other post said to do, nothing worked, until I did this, and viola! it works!

[Q] Can anyone explain this rooting guide better? [Android 4.4 / Teclast X98]

Alright so I'm dealing with a X98 Air ll that is dual boot - Windows and Android.
Android has the problem of GOOGLE PLAY STORE is not working, like at all.
The developers are aware of this but only linked to a thread on this forum, here's the guide on how to solve my problem, supposedly:
http://www.teclast.com/en/Information/newspic/image141216.jpg .. Since I'm a newbie on forums I can't post images so heres the full guide provided by user Frontier:
Anyone having issues with Google Play Store - this applies to both Air 3G with the latest 2.0.1 update (will post more information later) and Air II - please apply this fix.
Your OS should be rooted in order for this to work (I used X98 Toolbox to root my X98 Air 3G, simply connect the tablet to the PC, double-click on 1_Toolbox.bat and press 'E' on the menu).
- Download the files from here.
- Copy the .apk files to a folder on your microSD card.
- Go to Settings > Apps and uninstall Google Play Store.
- Install using the supplied .apk's the following (in this order): Google Play Services, Google Play Store and Link2SD.
- Go to Link2SD, find Google Play Store > Actions > Convert into system app.
- When the conversion is complete, reboot the tablet.
You should find that Google Play store works now, if you still have issues clear ALL it's data and re-enter your account information.

Okay so, this guide is really vaguely written and really hard to understand.
First off, connecting the tablet and downloading the files, running 1_Toolbox.bat and pressing E only refreshes the bat window. It doesn't give any confirmation or anything.. So I guess I move on ?
1) I downloaded the files.
2) I put the .apk files on the microSD card.
3)THERE IS NO UNINSTALL Google Play Store. No applications under "App". None. Zilch. Zero. I reset to factory settings and still no app to uninstall.
4) Did I miss a part where you put the microSD into the tablet? Because I did that but the tablet doesn't register it. Do I install it from the PC?
5) The MicroSD isn't registered, under Storage -> it also doesn't give me an option to browse the microSD.
In general, this whole guide is really written vaguely and written by, and to, someone who has development knowledge.
For a noob (At least to developming) this guide is REALLY bad.
Can anyone help me explaining what I should do ?

At least its a guide and "could be improved a little bit". If google apps are system apps already you can't uninstall the apks without a dedicated app. Titanium Backup (e.g. for uninstalling system apps) and Total Commander(File manager e.g. for browsing sd card) are very usefull. Just copy the needed apks to your phone's storage and open them to install. You don't need to use a micro sd card for it

Has your phone any kind of file manager or may be a app called "documents" installed to open folders or files in your storage? If not you can enable "USB debugging" and install any apps easily using Android Commander from your computer while your phone is connected by a usb cable.

Ahh now we getting somewhere. I am learning a lot of things. I had an app called file explorer - from there, I could see what's on the internal and what's on the SD. From there, I installed Total Commander and Titanium Backup.
Total Commander works and gives me a great outlook of what's on the SD cart and internal.
Titanium Backup seems like a weird app. I don't think I can do anything because I don't have it rooted (?? EDIT: Pic ). I think I have to follow this guide, it's a ROM (??) that I have to install. Once installed, or the bios flashed (??) I will have to use Titanium Backup to uninstall Google Play Store I presume ?
Thanks for the help so far!

Okay, first I tried to do it by downloading it and running it from PC. I opened debug mode, let it download, etc, and on the phone it opens a chinese app.. I did uninstall some apps, but a lot remain.
So I tried to download the .apk manually and that resulted it in trying to root as well, but it fails to root and just returns to chinese text.
I still fail to root my device
EDIT: Trying something
Using this guide I made it work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FL-SV8UatOU&feature=youtu.be
