How can I get my Device LG LS660 Listed on XDA-Devs Page/Forum? - Off-topic

Hi,
I was wondering how to get a Section on the XDA Forum made for the Virgin Mobile/Sprint/Boost LG Tribute LS660 device and have our devices listed at the top of XDA Devs where it says "Type to find device".
I love this forum and have for years. Only recently have I gotten really involved. Specifically in the development on the LG LS660.
A lot of development has taken place over the last few weeks in the LG Android community.
From this thread we have been making great developments...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/lg-tribute-development-t2953342/page98
Within this thread @jgkim @Unjustified Dev and I found things in our device that led to rooting our phones and then almost every other unrootable LG phone out on the market.
Here is @Unjustified Dev 's guide he wrote up.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3049772
From that guide @avicohh scripted up a one click method here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-lg-firmwares-kitkat-lollipop-t3056951
And now I have a Q&A + Tips thread going to try and keep our development thread going.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/vm-sprint-lg-tribute-ls660-f60-t3059635
So with all this development how can we get our own section on XDA-Development made? It would be greatly appreciated to get this going stronger with a little more organization. Plus it would just be nice to see our devices listed!
Thanks for your time if you read this, Cheers!
 @high247

Can someone point me in the right direction of who I need to talk to, to make this happen? Thanks!

This is the correct thread to post in for such requests:

Closing this up.

itransmogrify

I have recently come off of using an iphone and started using the dream and was wondering if it was possible to port itransmogrify to the dream. I am posting this because I here so much complaining about lack of flash support and wondered if this could be a possible solution to the problem. I am well aware that this is far from full flash support but I found myself constantly using it on the iphone and to say the least it is very convenient to have. Here is the link to the itransmogrify website http://joemaller.com/2008/1/12/itransmogrify/.
Please do not flame me if this is not useful or if it needs to be posted somewhere else if it already is posted somewhere else I am simply trying to help the community out by showing the developers something they may not have previously been aware of. I really hope this helps.
P.s
I own both the iphone and the dream and hands down the dream is better!
sticky
What sticky would that be read them all and this has nothing to do with any of them thos isn't a question and it also does not fall under any of the [ROM],[REF]...etc catagories and I've allready searched to make sure there was nothing on this subject so what is the problem. Maybe everyone should go read the giant post that say new forum rules that informs everyone not to falme? All I was trying to do was offer information I felt was usefull to developers to see if this could help the comunity in any way. When I had my HTC excaliber I was on xda every day and never had any problems I just started using the dream and I feel like everyone here is so hostile towards eachother what's the deal? Is this not a community? Didme posting this thread hurt anyone? Because in my eyes the most it can do is help but I gues I'm wrong sorry for posting have a mod delete it I guess.
I was offering information that someone who didn't have an iphone would not know about sorry that there is a question in it. Is there a place to post something that could be useful to a developer please direct me there and this is useless so do one of the following reply with something relevant to the topic move/delete the thread or just don't say anything because all that will do is waste server space thanks in advanced great feedback on the subject so far.
MOD EDIT - Thread moved to Q&A
Can we try and act civilized towards each other

Introducing Forum Specific Mod

Hi everybody,
Let me introduce myself. I'm M_T_M , your new forum mod for the HTC Wallaby.
I've been on xda-developers for over a year now. Mostly visiting the devices I own and supporting other forums with the experince I've gathered on this great site. Maybe some of you have seen me lately in the forums helping a little.
Now, I'm happy and honored to be appointed to the HTC Wallaby forums to provide mod assistance to all of you in the best way I can to this great community.
I'm here to help you and I expect the same from all of you .
If you experience any other way of approach from members, feel free to contact me through PM, or report the post by using the "!" button in the post.
Additionally, I want to let you know that I'll be doing some forum maintenance (cleaning threads addressing an already discussed topic or an off topic, moving threads or posts to proper sections) for making it easier to all of you get the information you are seeking and keeping the forum clean.
Cheers
thanks my friends

Droid Bionic Source

I know this was posted in the General section, seeing as it pertains to development I Figured that if anyone not familiar with their way around, interested in development, would like to get their needs in one forum without having to switch to another.

Released this morning after SGSII was.
It was originally posted here in development but got moved to general...this really does belong in general. Thanks for sharing though.

I strongly disagree. Genereal should be for the people who dont know the standard operation of their phone (ie. first time droid owners). This developer section should be for software modifications to the system.
Of course my credibility is probably limited in that the forum moderator doesn't seem to agree either. I started a thread on making the bionic able to use the available recording software by modding it, and it was moved to the themes and apps section, lol.
At any rate, thanks lemonoid. this is very useful developer information. could you post the original thread so we may thank them as well?
Already a thread discussing this same thing

PS: This belongs to the General Section, without a doubt.

Welcome to the forums.
There is a special section for this phone in the site. I will highly recommend that you visit that section.
On that note, thread closed.

Looking for a stock rom with unlocked tether

Can anyone suggest a good stock rom with unlocked tether?
I am planning on rooting and not familiar with any of the at&t development since I have a Verizon phone. This is to help out someone else.
Thanks
First thing is Questions and request for assistance belong in the Q&A section not General.
Second thing is XDA is a development site not a support site. As such members are expected to do the research, read through the development threads and decide what is BEST for them. The only results that would be posted here are what each member has found to be BEST for them by experimentation based on their phone/usage/setup/apps/signal strength. Please take the time to read through those development threads to learn all about the software you are about to drastically alter your very expensive device with.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.
EFM
Have a great day!
