Where? And wow I guess I do need an upgrade. Regular 4g is slow compared to that!

Use DL Booster and you can see speeds like 75+ Mbps! Depends on Wifi+LTE speed though.

are you in a wideband area or is this only with the download booster (wifi+lte)

I was actually able to hit 100mbps on the T mobile network no download booster on speedtest. Ya i know doesnt mean much without a picture but I'm at work. Either way I was amazed

Jeeze, the most I have ever gotten on Tmo in my entire life is like 30mbs down, lol.. is that a constant speed?

100mbps? I'd have to see it to believe it. I have gotten over 50 before, but nothing close to a 100. I have gotten over 75 with Verizon. Honestly, it's fast but not like a huge difference from 30 imho.

Here you go I was blown away. My T-Mobile service has been better where I live than my Verizon service stronger signal and faster data.
I couldn't figure out how to upload a picture so here's a link from my result that I shared to Ookla. In that area it was pretty constant between 80-100mbps. At home I only get 10, but that's about as low as it gets in my area.

Well, I guess I shall eat crow. That's impressive!

Here's mine.. Network 3 in UK 8

T-Mobile , Jacksonville, FL

This was LTE only no WiFi Booster.

WTF!! dialup in the year 2010??

i cant believe it, i just saw a tv commercial for dialup!
"America's broadband users can save $16 billion a year and save $300 a year individually by switching to netzero dialup for 9.99$ a month. call 1800netzero or go to netzero.com"
i wouldnt go back to 56k dialup if YOU PAY ME 9.99$ a month!
i have 1000,000,000 mb/s broadband lol
I don't understand why anyone would go back to dialup if they were on DSL, cable, FiOS, or any other high-speed connection. I remember dialup as being absolute hell. You couldn't call anyone while they were online, or you would get a busy signal. Waiting for a picture or site to load would take forever. And all that waiting was just so you could see animated GIF backgrounds and listen to embedded midi while reading blinking text on someone's geocities page. The only person I know with dialup is my uncle, but he has to have it because he's in too rural a town for cable or DSL.
I remember my mom (just to mess with us) would sometimes intentionally pick up the phone while my sister or I was online, and dial random buttons so I'd lose my connection and have to reconnect the modem .
here is a video of netzero, (not the shorter version i saw on tv commercial)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLVUqhxdCUk&feature=related
we all get fater speeds using our phones and internet sharing lol
Yeah, I saw a commercial for some company who was advertising their services as being faster than "just" dial up, recently. I just was like, um.... okay? Dial up has not been relevant for a couple of years now. My dad, who lives in a town with a population of 300 (that was as of 2000), has DSL!
I just P!55ED my pants..
NetZero said:
What connection speeds does NetZero offer?
NetZero Platinum members can access NetZero's services at speeds up to 56k, using V.90 compression technology. Slower modems will also be able to connect at 28.8k, and 33.6k. We do not recommend connections slower than 28.8k.

Slow 4g speed

I've tried the Charge and Thunderbolt along with the Revo, and for some reason the 4g on the Revo is less that half the speed of the other devices using the Speedtest app. Someone on another forum commented about this as well. Do you folks think this is a radio issue that can be fixed? Otherwise, I'll be taking the Revo back.
Thanks!
What is your dl speed because in all honesty any dl above 3 MB/sec is overkill. Here in SE TX mine avgs. 8 down/5 up. Try another server it does vary greatly. Remember it is a burst speed and is dependant on how many users are on a tower plus other factors beyond your control. A true OC-3 speed of 20 down /20 up runs about $20,000 a month for a business.
I'm always between 8 - 11 down and 4 - 6 up out here in Charleston, SC
Sent from my LG Hobo 4G
Average 4G speed around my home is 8-12 dwn, 5-9 up.

Verizon probably has run their own fiber to their towers... and they are probably running OC-12 or 24 lines.
Hehehe... had to block the isp, as we are our own... That is shared with 1500 other users...

4G LTE in Milwaukee is VERY fast.
Near the airport, strong constant 20-30mbps and 4-9mbps up.
I have yet to venture to Madison yet or Wisconsin Dells, as those are the other two major city's in WI to have LTE setup.
on a side note, I will say with my first LG which was borked and stuck with the stock shipping software my downloads were some what slower then my new one with the current stock software. 15mbps max on the old software and 30mbps with the new software.

[Q] Sprint Spark Being Turned on in Tampa Right Now?

I live in Tampa. I was naturally excited to hear that Tampa was one of the five lucky cities to receive Sprint Spark. I wonder if this is the day Sprint has decided to flip it on. What do you all think?

Nice, i'm in Daytona, but would make the trip to see some of those insane speeds.
and ride sheikra
it looks like someone spilled orange juice on a coverage map.
This was posted today:
The mobile revolution has begun in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Tampa and Miami.
Equipped with one of Sprint’s new tri-band devices, customers in upgraded areas of these first Sprint Spark coverage areas will have access to our fastest mobile data speeds with improved call quality and stronger indoor signal on the way. In a Sprint Spark coverage area, you can stream your favorite TV shows or movies in brilliant 1080p. You can play lag-free online games against opponents during your commute. You can share your view from Brooklyn with a loved one on the other side of the world.

Last I read the HTC One does NOT support this new network.
Get a G2 or a N5 then you can use it.....

Poll: Slow wifi and data

I'm having very slow wifi and data on my ATT S6 Edge. Its only about 13 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up. My wifi does 50 Mbps down but should be about double that.
My previous phone, the LG G2 D800 was getting about 70 Mbps down on data in the same area. Just wondering of any of you are having the same problems. If its just me, it might be a hardware issue - have to return it
Thanks

You should also add one or two more options like "no issue" and possibly "best wifi performance yet".
FYI, I have no issues.

Make sure no other apps are running in the background. Also side no for bloat ware. do you have anything disable that could be the culprit? Also it can be based on the network itself I recommend trying to run the test at night so no body in your block using up the line. As for mobile data have you, checked if you'really provision properly sometimes att causes issues like that so it is best to check if they got you provisioned on the correct device.

Who else in COLORADO??

I have SERIOUS dreadful speeds with T-Mobile . I usually get 2mbps download and 1 upload. (Yea thats horrible) all around Denver the highest speed I've ever had while on LTE would be 10mbps. I'm seriously thinking about leaving tmobile for VERIZONs badass service. A friend has Verizon and he's speeds are consistent. Check out the screen shot from here at work. It went from bad to absolutely worse. Can't loud crap. And it isn't the ROM fault. Calling T-Mobile won't fix nothing because there techs are seriously retarded. I've tried what I could to no avail. Maybe there's some kind of tool or something I could use. Speeds have been horrible Ever since I got the note 4 and I even pay the extra $20 for what they call "unlimited" I could take my $80 and go with Verizon and pay an extra $40 for TRULY UNLIMITED, EVERYWHERE. I have a phantom netgear router thats 60 Mbps no matter how many people are connected or what they are doing so going from steady 60 to less than 1 its ridiculous I got a fast phone with horrible service. I could have the fastest phone in the world. But under T-Mobile it becomes the slowest!!!
