You have an app creating it. Figure out which app it is and get rid of it or deal with the folder.

Based on what?
Its not created by Android because we don't have it. Its created by one of your apps.

I agree with @rootSU on this. You have an app creating the folder. I would start by looking at your apps that start with the letter N

Nice job...I didn't ask the initial question, but hopefully your find will help the inquiring party.
At the moment, I'm not on Slim, though I am watching their progress daily.
Unfortunately, I didn't see a solution to the posted question. The Android Central link had a guy posting that he was afraid that someone was monitoring his device. The xda thread appeared to have a few posts referencing the issue, but I didn't read far enough for a solution.
Anyway, I hope this issue gets resolved.

I'm still thinking that the dude that thinks his better half is electronically stalking him provided the most likely explanation.
Didn't William of Occam posit that the most likely explanation is that which is the most cumbersome and borne from madness?

Since as the article says it requires a "tool" to actually get it on a device I don't see anything being available to us that actually works till at least the end of the year.
I'd be happy with better battery life, but it'll be weird without the playstore. I wonder how or if playstore apps could be ported?
Looks like they'll drop images to flash via fast boot. Should be interesting. Will try it out on my GNex

Works fine when flashed into a Nexus 4. SMS works great and is a breeze to use compared to the stock messaging app.
given there is only one factory image (for now) yet both a US-only phone and a 'Rest of the World' phone are being sold.. are we assuming/hoping we'll be able to unlock all frequencies or convert from one to the other?
Any ways to extract the keyboard with emojis?
Email apk
Can some pull the Email apk? I heard it had a UI overhaul.
deodexed n ready to go! .. interesting to see if there will be supersu issue with kitkat

No. I don't think anyone thinks hardware features will be magically unlocked. There would be no reason to disable bands for each variant. LTE is hard to include with all the different bands. So they have to to cover their bases. I don't see how you could enable the bands that aren't in the hardware.

so given there appears to be only a single factory image that implies Google have changed their approach (finally?)

Yep..KitKat is designed around reducing/eliminating the dreaded 'fragmentation'. Just one of their approaches, and the most palatable, imho.

You should get used to play with this new UI but I would not say it's awful.
BTW Tapatalk has now access to your position and accounts (I saw these requests through Xprivacy).

Pixel ROM for Nexus 6

Hate to be that guy asking devs for anything but pretty pretty please can we haz a straight Pixel ROM for our Nexus 6.
Sent from my Nexus 6
I don't think you're going to see one. The closest you'll get is to port the Pixel's 32-bit apps over to the Nexus 6, since none of the Pixel's 64-bit firmware will work on our device.
Oh man, I'd love to see that too! Sadly, I don't think it's possible. Could be wrong, development never ceases to amaze me
They've always amazed me as well, hopefully one of them has a lot of love for this device and can figure it out

To make a 32bit app of a closed source 64bit app? No love is enough to achieve that.
So if you want Pixel on you Nexus, you'll have to buy a 64bit phone, either the 5X or the 6P.
Oh well I never keep devices long anyways. Just wishful thinking/pissing in the wind

A Rom like this one Would be perfect????
And they can do that because they have a 64-bit processor in the 5X. We don't. We should however be seeing a developer preview of Android 7.1.1 drop soon for us, with the finished product to follow.
Wow Having a nexus and asking for a ported rom is like having a Mustang but wanting to put a pinto engine in it.
