Disable T-Mobile MyAccount - T-Mobile HTC One (M9)

All my previous phones have allowed me to disable t-mobile myaccount but not my M9.[emoji34] Anyone else notice this? Any ideas other than rooting?

Yes, I noticed that too. I had it disabled on the M8, but couldn't do the same on the M9.

I'm meant completely disable the app in settings. I know how to turn off the notifications.

For anyone who doesn't already know, I have copied an overview of the changes in Sense that can be expected from this update (as well as 2.3.3 of course)
Engadget said:
HTC has also taken the opportunity to tweak Sense on the Desire S as well, with a set of changes you'll notice more readily. One of them is that the jumbo clock / weather widget now has an alternative clock / social feed option, whereby you get the latest update from your Facebook or Twitter friends as a little blurb under the time. More valuable, however, is HTC's integration of a Quick Settings menu alongside the usual Notifications in the drop-down Android menu. This gives you close to instant access to options you'll likely want to use quite often, such as toggling the WiFi, GPS, or mobile hotspot functions on and off. We'd be even happier to see this menu take over the position of the Personalize item next to the phone dialer at the bottom of the home screen, but having it at all is a move forward.
Sense also gets an overdue upgrade to the way it manages applications -- with the icon grid now scrolling up and down in a paginated fashion and being accompanied by subcategories for your downloaded and most frequently used apps

Aussie network branded versions added to the Stock ROMS thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=13036584#post13036584
Hi guys, I am quite a noob in the Android world and I have a concern about the update: My Incredible S comes from Bell and was unlocked. I am using on the Fido network. Is it safe to update to Gingerbread? Will I loose the unlock or something?
Anyways, can't wait to get the update!
Thanks!
If you phoen was purchased network unlocked, the update won't change that, you will get a version of the ROM that is unbranded over the air
My phone has the Bell ROM with the Bell apps that I can't get rid off and it was unlocked so I can use it on Fido.
Anyone in Canada have the update as yet? If so, are you using the international version or Bell/Virgin/Sakstel version?

Wow thats incredible, i wonder if this will take care of the reboot issues.

Took 4.3 ota, strange connectivity issues

Anyone else having problems? Real slow access to a lot of Google things, was getting timeouts to play store. I'm on at LTE in the Philly area BTW. Pandora was giving me problems, but other things were fine and I ran a speed test got like 35/20mbit which is plenty fast.
Idk if they're related or not…

OK, that's even weirder because I was rooted on 4.1.2 and had both of those lol. I'm on a Dev edition and I ran the ruu to go back to stock and bring it up to the latest to see how it is. I had to lock it to get the ruu to run and then unlock it to get the recovery/root reinstalled

Just had another issue hitting play store. Rebooted and it was fine albeit a Lil slow.
Before I rebooted it was 1bar of LTE and after it just stayed on GSM/HSDPA or w/e . I still don't know if its my phone or att

I'm having issues connecting to Play Store (connection times out) and Facebook (same issue) on LTE with 4.3 OTA, regardless of APN settings. AT&T network here. Drivig me insane.
Browser usually works though, as does Speedtet.net. Go figure.

On Custom ROMs it is an issue, when in the developer settings the animation is set to anything other than 1x.

Xposed framework

Since root is available has anyone tried xposed settings yet?
Bump!!
I need this also.
Is this the only way to activate wifi hotspot?
I really need to remove att's restriction on hotspot!

I'm on ATT and have no hot-spot restriction? Are you on an old plan? I thought att allowed hotspots up to your monthly data limit now...
It's a work account. I had an htc one before that was also blocked but I was able to go around it with viper rom. With this one is locked.
See picture
Doesn't work...
Just FYI, Xposed Framework does not yet work on any LOLLIPOP Samsung Touchwiz roms. It does work on other versions of lollipop though.

Sprint bloat.

Does someone have a list of Sprint's bloat ware, mainly ones that don't use the words Sprint in the app or process that I might have missed from disabling?

anything labeled sprint you can long press on and uninstall, or within apps. if it doesn't have an uninstall option, ignore it.

Hi, thanks. I'd already on the same day of receiving the Sprint bloatware deleted all the apps that I could via uninstall. However, I'd like to know which other apps can be safely disabled, and more importantly are there any services or packages that don't use the words "Sprint" that may not be immediately visible to disable.

look in apps, do you see anything called sprint app pack or appcloud NOT SAMSUNG CLOUD. do you see appstack in apps. rid app pack or appstack. thats a good point to relax after that. do not DISABLE any other sprint app that only has disable or enable. also lookout can be disabled along with fb instagram and messenger. NOT the message app.
These are all packages and process with the word Sprint in them. Anything that doesn't have the word Sprint in them that I should be looking for.? I did see lookout bloat which I've already disabled.
