[ROM]YUNGBOSS' Cyanogen Mod 7 PRE-ALPHA (need help from devs for making this booting)

This rom need some help from dev. YOU can use my work with permissions for enchancements​
This rom is based from the Droid X Nightly build 33. This is VERY VERY VERY PRE MEGA ALPHA so dont be surprised if you're stock on Cyanogen logo. Some works is needed for this rom so PM me if you want to contribute to this build.

WOW! Sounds promising! Can't wait

This build is pre-alpha. There's so many problems as it is on the Droid X, I highly doubt anything would come from porting this.
I would wait until its gone final to start a port. As everyone does.

Probably not. It seems that he's doing this solo.

I see the DRoid X has a RC version, yet there is sitll nightlies as of yesterday, hows that work

Yungboss, will this include a kernel? Or just the ROM?

it will include the Faux's att kernel but im not sure if this kernel is compatible with cm 7

Lol that's what I was about to ask. Also What modifications exactly did you make to the DX nightly rom to turn in into this "pre alpha" build?

Im stock in motorola unlocked image

But before starting with Kernel v3, I'd suggest be comfortable with those commands and compile existing 2.6.35 kernels without modifications and later with modifications. In that way, you could get more in touch with Kernel development.

I think I'd better use a kernel already done ... I send a pm to mebitek

It's not worth it, you will have to forward-port a lot of things :/ Better take 2.6.xx.xx and backport stuff from msm3.0 kernel

There are no changes from 2.6.40 to version 3, but from 2.6.35 to version 3 are

Will custom roms be more reliable with the release of HTC One GE?

Not sure how developing works, but will custom roms like PA get smoother and less buggy now that we have the actual stock android rom instead of having them ported?

I've tried porting his kernel many times, always same result - random reboots, freezes, phone stucks... Unfortunately I am not able to find out what's the cause of these problems, I thought I made everything well :/
I even tried yesterday, many, many different settings.. And I was disappointed again

I am also working on a kernel, it works good but can't find the Wifi module in the sources, Tried the cfg80211.ko file but it wont work.
Does anyone know where to find it in the newest Sony source code after compiling?
