Background wallpaper and lockscreen different - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6

I am using google launcher and when I try and change my background it does not change the lockscreen background too.
When I go to change the lockscreen background in settings it does not offer the same options to choose from as my normal background...

Not Sure why you are posting this in the Galaxy S6 forum since the question is about Google Launcher. It's not a Galaxy s6 question but, a Google questions.
However, it's been a while since I used Google's Launcher. But, when you choose a wallpaper, it should ask if you want to use it for either the Home Screen / Lock Screen or both.

Easiest way to take care of that is to go to your gallery app or whatever you use to view the image, select "More" in the upper corner, then "Set as wallpaper", then select "Home AND Lock Screen". Profit.

i use the google now launcher too, and i have no problems with this. after you choose wallpapers in the home screen. slide all the way to the right and choose wallpapers again, there you can choose where you want to change your wallpaper, home screen, lockscreen or both.

[Q] LauncherPro Homescreen

hi,
i don't know how to set a different wallpaper for each homescreen in launcherpro
thanks
P.S. im not allowed to post a direct link so i cant give you an example
Press the Menu button on your device
Now press Wallpaper
Choose one
Win.
EDIT: Just realized it was multiple wallpapers.
Wallpaper Plus also does the job.
Search for multipicture wallpaper in the market,is free and is awesome.
I recommend Wallpaper Plus, it's better
Dose any one know how to customize home screen icons in the launcherpro.
Means rename or change icons

Depends on what icons you are talking about. In terms of the dock, just long press on a dock item, and click the change icon option when the menu opens.
As for icons on the homescreen itself, you can change an applications shortcut icon whenever you create it. Just long press on the homescreen, Select Shortcuts, then Applications, Pick an App, then click its icon to change it.
You can also use Desktop Visualizer - http://www.appbrain.com/app/desktop-visualizer/jp.co.bii.android.app.dskvzr
This will let you set make custom widgets in many sizes and set the image for them to what you want. This will allow you to use oversized icons, or even custom designs such as the WP7 designs you might see around here.
Hope that answers your question

well thats in widget state, Just have to live with it for now........
Thanks all for the comments........
PS, I couldn't click thanks4 papertreeprophet. cause its limited for each day..
when creating the shortcut, at the screen where you can rename the shortcut, click the icon, and it will allow you to choose whatever you'd like.
Instead of placing icons on your homescreen from the app drawer, long-press on the homescreen and go to shortcut, that will let you choose the icon and name. This only works for apps, not folders.

Make android 2.1/2.2 look like 2.3

step one download launcher pro from the market
step two download nexus revamped from the market
step three download attachments and put in folder on sd card
step four install nexus s adw theme from attachments
step four go to launcherpro preferences and go to appearence settings and then go to dock background and coustom then look for dock.png and use that
then after restart on the dock go to the far left icon and hold it then click change shortcut then click homescreens and then previous screen on the next one hold it down and click change shortcut again then applications then scroll to dialer or phone when that is done choose icon will pop up click coustom icon and look for the call icon in the folder you kept the attachment in on the next one hold it then click change shortcut then app drawer then click coustom icon and look for the app drawer in the attachments then on the far right one hold it and click change shortcut and then homescreens then next screen next go to launcher pro preferences and click theme settings then click icon pack and nexus s gingerbread now all your icon will look like gingerbread now go to the icon next to the app drawer icon hold it and then click change shortcut then applications then browser or internet
to add the finishing touches go to wallpaper then live wallpapers click nexus revamped then settings then go to background then image then the grid then go back and click particles then particle appearence the turn all settings up
then click ok and then click particle scaling and turn that all the way up
then go back and click physics then click spawn density then turn that all the way up then apply the wallpaper im sorry this is so long but thats the way i has to explain it hop you like will upload picture of this in a minuite

[Q] [WeUI] Homescreen & Lockscreen Wallpaper

Is there any way for me to set my own wallpaper for my homescreen and lockscreen without using ICS's crappy cropping tool?
I know there's an app for your homescreen, but when it comes to lockscreen I can only go into the Themes app and set it from there. Even then, it is majorly zoomed in and blurry.
If it still like GB MIUI, go to lockscreen wallpaper in themes app and hit menu button, choose from gallery and there bam!

OK, now it won't even show a crop tool. It just automatically does whatever it wants for the lockscreen wallpaper. When I try to change my homescreen wallpaper through this method it still uses ICS cropping.
Try the free app QuickPic- when you go to set your wallpaper, it should come up as an option alongside Gallery or whatever. It has its own cropping tool and recognizes your setting for wallpaper, i.e. non-scrolling (fixed) or scrolling (scaled across homescreens) and allows you to crop accordingly.
edit: I am on an AOKP-based ROM and the lockscreen option lets you choose which cropping tool to use- not sure if your ROM will allow this...

Lock screen

Is it possible for google music to show an album art cover as a background on the lock screen as it did on my previous phone (the old nexus 5x)?
Also, is there a way to change lock screen wallpaper? On my previous phone I had the app called APOD and it changed my wallpaper for both home and lock screens daily. On my Mi T9 Pro it can only change a wallpaper on the home screen. I also can't change lock screen wallpaper manually... I can only choose a wallpaper from theme app. Is it possible to fix?
Thanks!
umm, you can change wallpaper under settings>wallpaper choose the first option, select the pic, and apply to lockscreen only
or use a custom launcher? (nova FTW)
also, you can use retro music player, I think that allows an overlay, but music isn't much of a priority for me, so IDK
Miui is kinda broken when it comes to wallpapers. You can only set the lock screen wallpaper in settings and not in for e.g. google photos or a 3rd party wallpapers app. However you can change the home screen wallpaper from anywhere. Kinda stupid

wallpaper option opens themes app

I can´t change my lockscreen now.
I´m not sure what I did, but now when I press the wallpaper option in settings, it only opens the themes app. It used to open a different menu where I could choose the wallpaper for the lockscreen or the homescreen.
