HTC one m9 compatibility - Android Auto General

Anyone seen any reports of the M9 being confirmed to work with Android Auto? I know on paper it should work fine but I'm looking for confirmation.

HTC M9 was confirmed as supported by Android Central

Other devices which are having problems should become compatible once Google Play Services 7.3.29 (1866531-xxx) for Android 5.0+ (Lollipop, API 21) is pushed out.

[Q] Xposed working on HTC M9?

I have a new Sprint HTC M9 I haven't activated yet. I know it's not officially supported on 64 bit devices so I have been putting off activating it. I see a few test releases for 5.1 but I know the initial build on the M9 is 5.0.X. The modules I use and am use to are Greenify, Pandora Patcher, Snapprefs, Unicon (to modify stock sense launcher icons) and AdAway. I never installed the 5.0 update on on m8 yet. I would like to activate my m9 soon but might wanna wait if my stuff isn't gonna work. Anyone have any luck with test builds of Xposed on an M9?
Xposed is only for 32Bit.
M9 has an Arm 64Bit. so no xposed now! There are no working test builds out.
sorry

Yes, there is a version of xposed built that reportedly works on the M9. It is not public yet. A member by the name of sharky481232 has confirmed that the unreleased 5.0 64-bit version noted in the first page of this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-android-5-1-successfully-t3074586) works on the M9 with a performance decrees. I would look there for any further information on unofficial xposed development for the M9.
Yea I was gonna give the test build a try once I activate it. Thinking about just keeping my m8 till if/when we get s-off and xposed. Haven't decided yet
The m8 has better battery life at the moment and almost no performance difference. I would hold onto the m8 for just a little while longer but the choice is yours.

Yea I was kinda thinking that especially given lollipop is still pretty new which I'm not even running yet on my M8. I may fire it up give it a try and can always switch ESN's back. I know it's gonna be tough without my xposed.

Anyone got LGWR working on ios ?

As I'm sure many of you have heard by now Google announced Android Wear on ios this week (start of sept 15) but apparently this first iteration will only work with a few smartwatches. One of those mentioned was the urbane and since ours is basically same hardware I was wondering if anyone has managed to get this to work yet ? Yes I know this means admitting that you have a different phone that is NOT an android but Android Wear is android so it is a valid question. thanks.
UPDATE: Looks like the discussion has already started see here http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...ndroid-wear-ios-connectivity-t3052524/page106 post#1060 onwards...
The watch requires Wear 1.3 to talk to iOS. It's this reason the older watches aren't "supported" because without an Android phone connecting to them first they'll never get the update.

Sprint Note 4 SM-N910P Lollipop 5.0.1

Can anyone tell me if the Xposed Framework is currently running stable on Samsung Note 4 yet? I know there were issues with bootlooping earlier this year, but have found nothing to indicate whether it has been fixed or not. Thanks!!

Have you found a working version yet? Sometimes I feel like the ugly step sister, because it seems like the Sprint variant is always the last one to come out if it comes out at all. :silly:
I know with some ROMS and some Carriers it's just a matter of taking the generic ROM and adding the correct carriers software to it, and then rebuilding it (though I'm sure it's not as easy as it sounds).. so then is Sprint just not as popular or is it more of a pain than the others?

Boss BV800ACP

I recently bought a Boss Digital multimedia receiver that came with Android Auto and such. I was trying to find out more information about what firmware it is running and such to see what all I can do. This is the information that I have so far from the Settings menu on the radio.
SOC:BV800ACP-200109
MCU:ST01-191217
Hardware:2.0.0
Software:2.0.2

Does any one have any information as to what firmware this device runs and such?
Thanks
BTW here is the product page: https://bossaudio.com/product/bv800acp/
I would like to get the play store running on the device as well if possible. I've already enabled Unknown Sources and installed the really cool GTA radio app along with some other changes in the default launcher but I do plan on getting another launcher once I am able to figure out how to do so. I've been an android user since 2008 but this is my first experiment into Android Auto.
What makes you think it runs on Android? It also supports Apple Carplay, and certainly doesn't run iOS. I'm not aware of any units which support Android Auto units which are based on Android. I think there is some kludge using one of those cheap Chinese Android headunits and an app which is supposed to let it support AA.

Because Developer Options, Unknown sources, I can install a lot of android apps, etc.
I understand how android auto works. The phone is pushing everything to the radio. I know that it is not a stand alone android device, I get that much.

Unfortunately Android Auto does not function on these phones (I own a Find N), as it needs to be installed as a system app from factory and Google Services generally is not supported on Chinese ROM variants. I imagine if they could be rooted (yet to be achieved on the Find N) then you MIGHT be able to get it working
Android Auto on Chinese Rom
I have been struggling with making Android Auto works on my China Version Moto Edge X30, and finally I succeeded. I am very excited so want to share the solution. Previously, it will show "no installed apps work with this usb accessory" when...
