Reporting Bugs
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

Hi any idea why when after flashing cm21.1 to my moto g 2015 when I try to flash minimal gapps 5.1 twrp sees it on SD card and starts to flash the file then recovery just reboots and when system reboots it has no gapps????? Help???

Flashing CM 12.1 on a XT1072
The only TWRP I have been able to find is for titan. It's OK for backups etc but when I tried to flash the (unofficial) CM 12.1
TWRP failed, saying "this ROM is for a XT1072 but this device is a titan".
Where does one get a proper TWRP for the XT1072?

Starting from 20160702 nightly build we require MM firmware.
If you're running LP firmware it should fail saying that "asus.verify_trustzone" assert has failed.
In order to update your firmware to MM one you can either flash ASUS MM rom in stock recovery or flash a package that will update your fw which you can download right here
################
Starting with 20160803 nightly we ship partial TFA9887 support for ZE601KL.
All you have to do is flash this to have a working speaker.
Notes:
- flashing this on pre 20160803 nightly builds will cause bootloop.
- you have to flash it every nightly, I don't plan to add OTA survival script.
Thanks to TDAD68 who spent 10 hours with me testing this out lol.

Is it necessary/recommended to do a complete wipe first? Does the installation automatically format the relevant directories? Can this be dirty flashed or does data need to be wiped first?
Thanks in advance!

Got it. Do I have to put the CM13 and GApps file on a microSD card? Or is there another place I could keep them? Like, what folder can I keep the files in that I don't want erased? My last phone (S3) had a microSD card so I'm not used to not having one. I could probably go find it if it helps though.

You can put it on microsd. You could also try skipping "internal storage" wipe and put it on emulated storage.
I'm getting a lot of "Your Device is not compatible with this version" messages from the play store trying to install basic apps like Tapatalk and twitter. Anyone else run into this? I'm thinking the issue might be the gapps package I picked. I used the ARM64 6.0 Nano package.
Edit - Don't think it's the gapps package, as I just tried a fresh install of the ROM with the "Stock" Gapps package and got the same result.

What I meant to say is that I prefer THIS over stock ROM. And if you're a ZE551KL user (you're more than likely on stock ROM) I suggest you flash this ROM.

1 SIM inserted does fully work (data/sms/calls). As for 2, they get recognized and you can use SIM 1 normally. I could not test calls/data/sms on second one since it's an old prepaid I had laying around. Feel free to test.

Would you recommend I use this for daily use, if I ignore the camera recording issue? Also, does recording just not work across the whole device or just the stock app? For example would I still be able to record with snapchat?

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Obviously not a lot has been ported to Lineage so please don't report issues related to missing features. That will be ported over soon (TM).
Also you need custom TWRP build to install these packages, you can find link in the OP.
BTW: You might have to force reboot after the gapps installation is complete as the unofficial installer is bit buggy ( you can do that by holding power ). Also it doesn't support addon.d so it doesn't persist when updating to next builds.
Thanks you  will check and update. :fingers-crossed:

You shouldn't really be running custom stuff if you can't rescue your devices right away lol.
But if you really insist there's images / zips toggle in install menu of TWRP.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8.1 (Oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Are you using the modified TWRP?
The modified TWRP doesn't boot on my XT1604, by the way. Flashing and booting it caused the phone to get stuck at the bootloader unlocked warning boot logo. Even holding down the power button wasn't able to shut down the phone, I had to open it up and disconnect the battery manually.

wow android q on our old device.thx for your work
OMG I can't believe!
Thanks Renan.
Just shows you what quality project LOS is,
and what quality manufacturer Motorola is (for their good-value-for-money hardware and releasing source code drivers too)
Xt1063. Clean flash rom+Bitgapps arm for q, doesn't boot, same for clean flash rom+open gapps for q Beta... Stays on LOs boot animation then it reboots into recovery.
Flashing only rom works.... Really smooth btw
