Today screen keeps scrolling up

Whenever I scroll down (with the scroll bar) my today screen, it keeps scrolling back up to beginning screen automatically.
Only way to avoid this is to scroll all the way down to the bottom and then it stops there. Then I can scroll up to see my today plugins which are in the middle (e.g. if you can scroll 4 times down - 4 screens of plugins - and I want to see my plugins which are 1 screen down the initial today screen, I have to tap all the way down and then tap up 2 times to see the plugins I should have seen tapping just 1 time).
This is so annoying. It seems something preset to have the today screen always at the top (after you browse to other windows, etc.). If at least I can change the "go home" movement to take a bit longer so I can see other today's plugins it will be good enough.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks.
This was not solved, but explained elsewhere (SPB today plugins). I guess no workaround despite disabling them. Thanks.

Diary events on home screen

Sorry to ask a question that is possibly in the manual I haven't been able to access yet (disc is at home, I and phone are at work) .. but, is it possible to show more than just the next appointment in the diary on the scroll down diary entry from the home screen??
EDIT: also, is anyone else finding that the screen goes blank during a call so you can't then access the buttons on-screen without having to switch the device back to life??
Thanks folks!
The screen going off during the call is a feature. Stops your ear from setting other programs off during the call!
There should be a setting in the today screen that allows more diary events....can't tell exactly where (I don't have mine yet).

Does swiping upwards in the today screen help? This changes the big clock to a small clock with more information below it.

Blank homescreens to the far left?

Seems that once you turn briefings off you can no longer put a blank screen to the far left. Anyone had success on this?
You can't directly add one, but you can add a blank screen on the right side and drag it all the way to the left. It's not perfect, but it works.
Hold down on a blank spot on screen. Switch to a different panel and there is a home button on each panel. Press it until it lights up. Now that will set your main home screen and rearrange your icons etc and you can have panels to the left of your main homepage.

Easy wife compliant screen streaming to Chromecast v2

Hi guys,
for my wife I am searching for a 1-click solution to easily cast a Samsung tablets screen to a TV via Chromecast v2.
Google Home lets me pick the TV, then allows for streaming the screen with a button at the bottom.
Ideally I'd like to have a cast button right on the homescreen. A direct shortcut. Tasker and Nova, it's all here. Any ideas? Google Play Store is full of bull**** castware.
thx
Well, I can't speak to the damage that samduck does to Android, but for proper AOSP or Pixel, you can add a "cast" button into the quick settings menu (when you pull down from the top of the screen, that is the row of buttons at the top of the screen with wifi, airplane mode, etc.).
When you pull the menu down TWICE, Android is supposed to have a little icon that looks like a pencil, tap that and it should go into edit mode where you can drag tiles around. If you put the "screen cast" into one of the first 6 spaces, it will appear in the quick settings menu on first pull-down. This is far easier (for your wife) than having a home screen button, since its always available and not just when you return to the home screen.
