Strange location issue - Nexus 6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I am experiencing a really strange issue with location, On my phone in Google Now the weather displays 'Current location' instead of the city name, I initially thought this was an issue with location reporting on the device itself but I tried searching for the current weather in Chrome on the desktop it displays part of my post code but no city name. If I switch to another google account all is fine on Chrome and it displays my current location correctly which includes displaying the city name when searching for weather.
Another quirk, If I select to temporarily hide private results in Chrome on the desktop it will display my location (including city name) but if I disable private results it again won't display the city. No matter the option it won't work on the phone at all. displaying the page in desktop mode and selecting to hide private results doesn't change it at all.

Calender - Maps Intergration

Ok so, Google Calender Supports Location (in the Where Field) which in the web interface shows up as a map.
But on the G1 it just displays the location as text, not a link to the maps app.
Is there a known way or work around without copying the data from editing the event and then pasting into the maps search (not the best solution)?
Thanks in advance

[Q] Time & date issues.

I have misc time & date issues on my GT-i9000. I've ran different stock versions and Cyanogenmod 7, but the issues are the same.
Trying to log in to SmugMug I get:
"Timestamp error - perhaps your clock isn't set correctly",
even before entering credentials.
Trying to add my google reader account to Pulse Newsreader I get :
"Could not authenitcate
This service requires the date and time settings on your phone to be correct to authenitcate.",
also before entering any credentials.
When I add events to Google Calendar they are always shown with 1 hour diff on my pc and my phone, even though timezone is set to GMT+01 in the settings for both.
I've had to set time & date manually, since the option to get them automatically from the network didn't work.

Removing Foursquare

Greetings all,
I have an unlocked Note 9 (Model #SM-N960U1) I bought directly from Samsung that I use on the T-mobile network. I keep my schedules using Samsung's calendar app. When I attempt to add a location to my schedules more often than not the location can't be found. Apparently, my unlocked Note 9 is using "Foursquare" as Samsung's calendar maps search engine. Is there a way to remove Foursquare from my device, or at the very least select Google maps as the default for Samsung's calendar app?
You could always disable the app through adb commands
Clear Search
I haven't figured out how to get rid of "power by Foursquare" in the Samsung Calendar and make it go back to using Google Maps, but I did find a work around:
X out of the text in the SEARCH field
Select your current location from the list of pre-populated choices
It will let you switch from "Keyword" to "Address"
Then you can search for the address you really want
You should then be able to click DONE from the results
I prefer the Samsung Calendar widget since it has Transparency as an option but I guess I'll have to find a 3rd party widget that opens Google Calendar instead.

Saved Google Maps places doesn't Appear

when in android auto menu in google maps special you can see and have all your saved places shown up, but only those saved in the default "saved places"
but if you create a new goup / category in google maps and save some locations into it, it will not appear once android auto
it give you only the default saved group.
is there any way around it ? to be able all created categories and the saved places in each one ?

How to hide home address

Hi all,
Using AA with Google Maps and it always shows Home and my address below the search bar. I can minimize it until it decides to show it again. How can I stop it showing my home address and taking up so much real estate?
TIA
