Obliq Cases Video Review - Galaxy S6 Edge Accessories

Hey everyone, here are a few video reviews on Obliq's cases for the S6 Edge. I've never heard of Obliq before but I have to say that I am really impressed with their products so far. They are another company like Verus and Spigen that make cases in Korea. Out of all the Korean case companies, the construction quality on the Obliq cases I received are probably the best. Check out the reviews below.

awesome! thank you for this! very helpful !

This is nice, thanks for sharing!!

So far I've read the reviews, and I think this is not a bad one. I'm in for this. Thanks!

Thanks

It looks nice and has a decent quality, when I tried to take this case off, it really took me some time to remove it. That makes this case a tough one. But i still like it. Thanks!

It's good that the case is not slippery even the back case, makes it easy to hold.

I think it's a pretty nice looking case.

I really have my impression that this case looks kinda simple. So before I bought this case I check first the reviews and after seeing a lot of positive reviews I decided to give it a try. After having it, i can tell that most of the positive reviews are 100% correct about this product. Product quality is purely awesome which makes my phone looks cooler. Thanks!

:good:

How do you compare this one with the spigen ones?? They are very similar

How nice that my phone's camera won't stick out from the case, it's definitely protected. And in addition I just got it in a cheaper price. :victory:

Nice case. Yeah it looks like Spigen, but this case is cheaper in price!

Well for the meantime this case will do, it's better for my phone to have a case to avoid any scratches.

Great Basic Case
Not misleading in any ways.

Nice case, I'm glad I chose this case for my phone

I like the case that adds protection to my device for both the screen and the back part. The fit and finish are nice. My phone feels very solid , almost like the case is part of the phone. It's nice that this case worked for my phone really great.

Nice! Keep up the good work :victory:

It looks very nice to my phone.

imak Cases

Hey guys I recently stumbled onto a new brand of cases. The brand is called imak and the cases they look pretty nice. They currently have 3 types of cases for the nexus 7.
The first one is called the imak slim. You can eBay search it as there are multiple posts of this case. Its like the incipio feather but much cheaper. It looks pretty high quality not like other eBay cases.
Price - $13.20
The third one is the imak cowboy. Its basically the same as the imak slim but with a more rugged texture. Same as a above just type in imak cowboy to find the case on eBay.
Price - $14.30
The third one is my favorite but a little more expensive. Its called the imak luxury. It is really good looking and is made from genuine leather. It looks awesome. The problem is that there is only one posting and it is shipped using economy shipping. Which could take up to 4 weeks to come. I'm going to be ordering one of these. The quality of the case is amazing. BTW there are only 9 left so get em while you can .
Price - $22.99
Ohh and did I mention you get a free screen protector with each case.
All these cases are on eBay.
I don't know man it does not look like good quality. The texture itself is not smooth and looks very tacky. I am not sure if I would be comfortable with a brand that says iMak on my Nexus...lol. It is cheap though compared to the other high end quality cases like the Noreve. That case cost me around $70 which is ridiculous price but you get what you pay for. The biggest thing I would be worried about is that this thing is coming from china. You might as well get the Speck nexus case for $35 which is really nice and genuine. Good Luck
I'm going to go ahead an order one of the slim cases. I will report back once I receive it.

Please report back with a review or some pics of the slim case. Im also thinking about it.
I'm going to get a blue slim case and a grey cowboy case. You can get them much cheaper at this site. Will post a review of both of them once I get them.

I used imak cowboy for my S3. The quality seems quite good and I like it because it's so slim and provide good grip for S3. Will try to look for nexus 7 cover.
I think you can buy better looking better protection for the same or less money, those slim cases you link to are basically book type covers without any edge protection

Body Glove Dropsuit Case

I picked up one of these from Radio Shack and it is tremendous. I would even go as far to say that it is the best case I've ever put on a smartphone. Good protection, good looking, good feel and grip, sleek and slim.
Check it out if you get a chance...it's really good.
There's a whole thread about the Body Glove case, not sure if its the same though

very nice looking case. might opt for this if my search for the slim runs dry.
Please post some photos.

They aren't the best quality, but here are a couple of pics.
Bought this case today (not easy to track down from Radio Shack). FANTASTIC case. Very good looking and provides excellent protection. I also own the BodyGlove case sold by Sprint, and, this is superior in terms of grip, protection and (in my opinion) looks as well.

Spigen Hardbook?

Anyone here have any experience with the latest revision of the Spigen Hardbook case?
I've been eyeing one lately in navy blue. Looks good, but also seems just a bit bulky.
Thoughts?
Anyone recommend another flip/folio case?
I currently have a faux leather Belkin case from Verizon. It feels great to the touch and fits nicely, but it has the annoying wrap-around 'clip' to hold it shut. Good idea, but I can't stand it. It always unlatches when being put in a pocket, that's why I looked into the Hardbook to begin with.
I'm still looking for other varieties:
•Flip style with full coverage
•Ability to use as a kickstand
•Does not add much bulk
•No buttons/clips or magnets
Thanks people.
Must be a pretty rare case lol.

Very disappointed with this one.
I'm a big fan of spigen products, so I was expecting something nicer. I really like the design and the materials, but the case I received has some major flaws in craftmanship, the borders are lifting and I can see the glue there. I won't return it because at least here in Mexico it is a hassle to deal with FedEx, so I would spend more money and energy doing so.
Not happy at all this time Spigen. And the fact that they don't publish reviews like this on the product page doesn't help either. I think I can't trust that brand anymore.
TheBlueOne, I've got the same issue. I have the same case too (navy).
I've just gotten used to pressing down on the edges, but I definitely didn't expect them to come off like that. If they didn't peel, this would be my favorite case. I'm gonna call Spigen about it tonight.

Incipio Dual Pro Case question

I'm thinking of grabbing this case. How bulky is it? Can someone post up any pics so i can see how it looks on the G2? Thanks in advance

Not much bulk at all compared to a few of the others I've tried. I was using the Ballistic case and switched to the Incipio Dual Pro. This feels much better in the had and is easier to get in and out of my pocket. At work right now so can't post any pics I'll try to post a couple when I get home.
I have the feather and dual pro case. I am impressed by the Incipio products. I've always been an otterbox fan, but I'm really impressed by the dual pro, feels great in your hand and not too bulky, just wish it had port covers.
I attached my pics. Love it. Best case imo.
Thanks guys. It looks really good & I'm seriously considering going with the white one. I just got my bodyguardz skin and am debating if i should return it for this case now. Decisions decisions lol
I like my cases being not slick or slippery. What is the texture like?

It feels like matte heaven! Not slick at all. I don't think it could feel any better.

Someone in the big thread got the white one. It stains easily. He contacted customer support and they basically shrugged him off. Told him he might be able to send it in for warranty.

It was hard to find and you will not like the price! - at least I didn't, I'm a cheap SOB.

Shipping is free though and it did come pretty fast.
It's cheaper at shop BLT, item BTE5749.
Case thickness question
I like to holster my phones. I have the Verizon OEM holster but don't like the case. The feather around the G2 fits snugly into the holster but is too bare for me and I can't locate the Dual Pro in a retail store. Does anybody know if this is substantially thicker than the feather.

I just ordered from them last night. It's only $18.17 and shipping was free.

I have it and love it. I consider it the middle-ground between bulky and thin. Its not too bad. Its slick and feels nice in the hand. And offers great protection for the amount of bulk it does add.

Agreed. I could potentially see it slipping out of sweaty hands though. It's a tad slick but overall I love the case
Just got myself the Incipio Dual Pro (Verizon) after going commando for the first 4 days of my life with the G2. It just felt so delicate without a case, so I felt like I had to try something, even though I'm generally a no-case kind of guy.
Looks and feels really great, and really makes the phone feel a little more substantial and safe in the hand when you're picking it up and setting it down. I like that the outside of the shell has a little bit of slickness, but a little bit of grippiness too. It goes in and out of my pants pockets fairly easily, although the silicone top and bottom do provide a bit of resistance. I absolutely LOVE the way it covers the buttons on my Verizon version, and makes them feel so much better to find and touch.
As far as bulkiness, it makes the G2 a little thicker than I'd hoped, but that's the price I'll have to pay for having a better tactile feel in the hand, and a bit of security, especially from random bumps and bruises. Will it survive a fall? I'd say may I increased my chances of surviving a fall by 50%, but still don't have high hopes if I drop it on concrete or anything. There's just a lot of screen on the G2 to potentially not shatter it to death in the event of a fall.
I ordered it on Staples online for $22 shipped. Arrived in less than 2 days with their standing shipping method. I'm still considering picking up the Incipio Feather to see if it feels better to me, but I'm gonna ride with the Dual Pro for a while first.
I just switched from a ballistic to the dualpro and I'm loving it.
One question though, what screen protector are you guys using with it? Right now I'm using one of the cheap vzw ones but would love to find a tempered glass that fits with the case.
Thanks

I am looking into a Dualpro and would like to know if it fits well with the iLoome Screenmate. D800 if it matters...
Anyone use a wireless charger with it on? I have the feather and I am thinking of getting this next. The Droid branded wireless charger works just fine with feather left on.
I really like the feather, its the perfect minimal case, I have had it since day one. Recently I've dropped it three times, each time it saved it! Very impressed, but I'm worried I will run out of luck, so I am considering upgrading.

Cases that cover back keys

I ordered not so long ago from Amazon the Case Mate Tough for the G2, it looks nice and seems like it dosen't compromise about protection.
I'm still waiting for it to arrive but meanwhile i'm looking for another case.
I want it to be not so bulky and huge, yet still provide a decent amount of protection, but most important it has to cover the back keys.
From what iv'e seen, there are 3 known cases:
Case Mate Tough - Have it.
Otterbox Commuter - Bad reviews. Looks bad on the phone.
Ballistic SG - Too bulky.
Incipio Dual Pro - Covers the back keys only on the Verizon model, I have D802.
If you have any suggestions, I would be glad to hear them. Thanks
How do you like the case mate? Can you post a few pics?
Sent from my LG-D800 using XDA Free mobile app
The Ballistic Aspira should be a little skinnier on the sides than the CaseMate Tough, and covers the buttons. Not a lot of cases have that coverage.
cases I own for AT&T G2
Glad a thread was made for this. I have been on a hunt for some time for cases with back keys.
I have the Poetic Invuctus case in white. Really nice fit. Only downside is there is no hole for the microphone by the camera (D800)

Also have the Ballistic Aspira case. This one is a little bulkier than the Poetic bit offers better protection, & has a hole for back mic.:good:

It doesnt make the phone too bulky and it provides a great deal of protection. i like it mostly because the screen is extra protected since the rubber part extends past it a little bit.

I ended up buying this one. It's really strong and sturdy, and makes the buttons easier to feel.
