Already started a topic here http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/help/root-wihtout-knox-tripping-t3103910 about it. But it's using a Arm64 vulnerability so it's of NO use on the Note 4. Sorry to burst the bubble. It will probably work on others 64bit devices like the M9 and LG too

First, I would say buyer beware. Second, I seriously doubt it considering no root yet with the locked boot loader and the talent in this community. However, if you are willing to jump first...let us know how it goes and make sure you have video to prove it

Thanks for the info! I guess I jumped the gun on asking in a new thread (and I'll admit it, I didn't do a basic search for Kingo before hand.) I'm not quite sure I wanna be the first to try this on my AT&T S5.. even though I'm kinda that desperate to get Root :-/

2) possibility of larger internal storage

The latest firmware update for the AT&T S4 (NB1) does not yet have a direct root method. The obstacles for obtaining root on this phone (S5) and that phone are generally the same. So I would say root will be achieved on the S4 (newest firmware) before or at the same time as root for the S5. So I would say you are correct about it taking a little while.
I was under the impression that the CF-AUTO ROOT Method would work on the at&t SGH-I 337. Please advice

Nope. Won't work. There is no direct root method for NB1 yet. There is a work-around that involves SafeStrap and installing a pre-rooted ROM, but that's it at the moment.

I'm sure it's been asked and answered, but since you mentioned it.. The same type of work-around, using SafeStrap and installing a pre-rooted stock ROM, can't be used on the S5?
Here is a mirror to the Cf auto root method I used using Odin and it gave me for access I can't speak for the NB1 as my s4 was 6 months old at the time.

So does this method works in the S5? I think thats what you mean right?
Pretty sure safe strap requires root first on JB ROM, then flashing a pretty rooted kit Kat update.

No it doesn't sorry for the confusion this only works on the at&t galaxy s4
(Quoted from Chainfires Google+) That's impossible to predict, but I certainly wouldn't bet on it. It may take months or never happen. If root is important to you, get an unlocked device and be sure you'll have it.

I was glad to see the Root posted, has anyone seen anything on a custom recovery, such as Clockwork Mod or (preferably TWRP)?

I didn't know ROOT was available until I saw your post - I checked out Chainfire's CF Autoroot thread and found that he did indeed post a download for the TMOBILE NOTE 4 - you will find more information here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/orig-development/sm-n910-cf-auto-root-t2897428

I really wanted to hold out too. But I just cant anymore. especially with all the great developers getting on this device. I know the Custom ROM support will be great and it helps to really debloat the device. Anyway I wont be going without any protection. Im getting the Note 4 and then i will purchase SquareTrade's $100 for 2 years Insurance in case anything goes wrong. I still haven't voided Knox on my Dad's S5 or my Note Pro 12.2 because I'm so paranoid.

someone might want to post over at the TWRP website, and see what files they need to get a TWRP going for this phone.

I looked for the right place to "volunteer" to help supply this information, but I don't see any place to post over on the TWRP web site and I don't see a general thread in XDA for TRWP (they all seem to be phone specific and I don't want to hijack them). Can you please point me out a link?

If you can then, as the previous two posters have asked:
AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge
G925AUCU1AOCE
Fingerprint: samsung/zerolteuc/zerolteatt:5.0.2/LRX22G/G925AUCU1AOCE:user/release-keys
Pardon the noob question but is the stock rom for att then for S6?
Another member in pingpong thread stated that you can easily get the stock ROM just by using smart switch app.
I broke my current rom by uninstalling too many apps so i had to restore it to stock. I flashed this file with Odin and it worked flawlessly.
Something that I'm not understanding is why is this ROM called rev2? I noticed some changes when I flashed this compared to the ROM that came with the phone.
1) This ROM has an option of screen timeout for 2mins while the stock ROM that came with the phone had 1min and 3min. It didn't have a 2min timeout.
2)I don't see the option in the app drawer to sort the apps alphabetically. Its gone in this rom. I will update this post if if I notice more changes.
I'll check if there's another build
