Lost os and need to get it back to use my phone again - HTC Desire 510

Hi, I have the HTC Desire 510 for sprint 32-bit version. I had rooted it and my os mysteriously disappeared. I was able to get the nosense rom on my phone but it is for cricket wireless. Can anyone help me to get a rom that can work with the sprint network. Can anyone please help me.

Hello Bladefirelement and welcome to the forums,
If you want stock you can use the updated Stock RUU.
If you want to try a custom ROM, you can try one of the Raptor ROMs here and here. A little bit of searching has to be done for the newest NonSense 1.04 ROMs but they can be used for Cricket as well as Sprint and its MVNOs. They can be found here.

[Q] GPe Radio on a T-Mobile One

Hi guys, I couldn't find an answer using search so I'm turning to you for some help.
I converted my T-Mobile One into a GPe One. I'm still running a T-Mobile radio from the latest stock Sense available to T-Mobile. My question is, can I flash a GPe radio or will this brick my device? Since the GPe One is specific to AT&T.
Any help clearing this up will be appreciated!!

You should be fine although now the OTA for 4.3 is available you might want to flash the radio for that which can be found in this post
Yeah pretty much any radio will work, as long as it's not a sprint one lol.

I followed this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2358781
to convert a t-mobile HTC One to Google Edition. Worked flawlessly, I even just got the OTA update to 4.3 (although I have not applied it yet, there may be an issue with the camera - trying to find more info)
You obviously have to do more than just the above post to get to GE (S-OFF, etc.) so if you have any questions I can probably try to point you in the right direction since I just did it.

[Q] att htc one using viperone 2.6.0

hello everyone. im using att htc one that is rooted using viperone 2.6.0. the rom is great!!. im using t-mobile us but my problem is that i only get edge data. is it possible to get 4g ?? another stupid question. is it possible to load t-mobile software on it??. i really want to be able to get 4g on my phone. please help guys. i thank you all in advance.
You don't need to run tmo "software" on it. All GSM ones basically can run the same roms/software as far as custom roms go.
Have you checked your apn in settings? My guess is the current T-Mobile lte apn isn't selected or added.

really, since you are s-off, you can follow any guide on CID unlock. its a simple cmd line to do it through fastboot.

If you're talking about doing SuperCID and flashing a GSM ROM, it won't work due to Sprint being a CDMA device. However you can GSM unlock your device and use Virgin Mobile, provided the frequencies match (2G will work for sure).
What does virgin mobile use as far as bandwidth?

My m7 os already unlocked and works for sure on t-mobile I have my SIM in as we speak but only works in 3g which my service was on Sprint so I honestly don't mind 3g speeds lol.
But it's to expensive for my liking and virgin mobile is cheaper any help guide etc?

Thank you for the link but for the first link it says only on gsm network based phones.

AFAIK, there isn't any method to flash it. I asked how to flash it to Verizon and I got told it can't be done, so I think you're out of luck mate :/.

[Q] HELP!!!!

Hello everyone,
I'm currently In USA (I've been here for almost a year now.) and I have unlocked my Sprint HTC ONE M7 (Legally) and now I am confused about a few things,
1) Will the multi-carrier roms work on my phone now? I dont like any of the sprint version roms available!
2) Will I be able to install MultiROM on it?
3) Can I use GSM on my phone now? ( I want to switch to AT&T!)
4) Will it work just like a International HTC ONE M7? (As I'll be moving back to my country soon! )
Any help is appreciated!
Thank You!

Unfortunately the answer to these questions is No Sprint HTC one are very different to the International HTC one.
International roms will not work on a Sprint phone as they have a different Partition structure. Also Sprint use CDMA network instead of GSM. So you must stick to Sprint compatible Recovery's Rom's and Ruu's Anything else will soft brick the phone.

Hi,
I have unlocked HTC One M8 with S-OFF also; originally for Sprint but now using in India (purchased through ebay).
Can I install Andoird 6.? I have installed GPE 5.1 and it is always showing Android 6 update downloaded but unable to update. It just gets rebooted.
Any help!

There's currently only 1 Android 6.0 ROM that works on Sprint M8 and it is quite buggy since it's an alpha release. Here's the link:

Thanks, saw this. What is different about Sprint HTC from normal HTC. Are the hardware fundamentally different in some ways?

Sprint has some "extra" stuff installed on their phones that requires a ROM with Sprint compatability to work. Flashing the normal HTC firmware onto the Sprint hardware will cause a brick.

Do you know what those extra stuff baked in hardware are? Just curious. Apart from radio,

Just wanna put it out there, the ROM is not so buggy. I have been using it as my daily driver since a week. Never had any issues so far, battery life is also great.

Besides radio, there's some apps inside that Sprint put in, like the Kids Mode app and some other Sprint bloat. I don't know much about this bloat since I was never on Sprint's network.

The Marshmallow Rom port for Sprint isn't buggy at all. I was using it with Xposed and it ran great. You definitely can run as your daily.

It's not just extra stuff, it's the phone structure even system partition. Basically Sprint network is cdma but it has a option to run gsm when Sprint customer travels international. But it's a cdma global phone. International M8 is totally different than cdma global and hence you won't be able to run international ROM unless developer made a port for Sprint version. Many peopl bricked their phones and wasted many days fixing it, including me lol.. it's not worth trying

I used to have Bad Boyz ROM for my daily drive. I tried GPE ROM with Android 5.0 and all other Sprint compatible ROMs including Viper ROM. I also tried to flash international ROMs, but had lot of issues (one of the issue I can reacall is system partition was screwed up after flashing - which caused issued with playing music, music wouldn't play continuously). Then I got a new phone from Sprint with Uh Oh protection guarantee and never rooted it ever since. It works like charm, though I struggled not to root in the beginning.. Have a Nexus 7 for all the tasting stuff . Until HTC releases Android 6.0 I have no issues living with Lollipop, its still great!
