AT&T Systemui.apk - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

Well I just made the horrible mistake of trying to edit my systemui.apk replacing the original one with the edited one. Stupidly forgetting to save and back up the original. I am wondering would someone be able to pull their SystemUi for me from their phone so I can download and replace.
Edit: Went to AT&T got stock firmware back on phone back to normal now. Feel free to close.

Can any one help me Please!!

hi i wanted to know if any one can help me? i am making my own rom i have edited the the frame work res apk and what ever, put my own png in it and took some useless apks from system/apps, i packed everything and signed it and resigned all the apks in the rom. i flashed to my phone and the pngs i made are there and every thing i put and took off were there. but when i tried going on the market it says the market (processcom.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly, in other words it is force closing can any one help me. i could become a future dev, who knows but not any where near the ones we got. i uploaded the rom it is flashable. but thats if you are generous to help me out, always do a nadroid back up. the icons on it are ugly but im still working on it. thanks and also it has no boot screen so if it stays black after flash dont worry i tried to put the android bat but doesnt work. so it should boot up. thanks and its based off of fresh 2.0d

Its messing up cause of a few reasons.
There is no reason to resign all the apps individually unless the uid's r conflicting which it is most likely not.
Also be careful with the apps u take out cause some of the apps work cause of other apps. There is a thread out that explains what apps r safe to remove
Also how r u signing. R u enabling a2sd, making overclocked, etc. Make sure update script is correct. Also the boot animation can be changed just have to add in the update script to delete the boot animation. Zip
If u need other help pm me or find me on gtalk

Accidently deleted phone.apk now no 3G!!

hi everyone,
I have Verizon galaxy tab and today I accidently deleted phone.apk file while browsing my rooted tab, and my service is completely gone - no sign of 3g whatsoever, acting like if it was wi fi only tab.
Can someone here please help me out? Only file I'm missing is phone.apk file, and if I can't get that file back here I will never be able to use 3g...PLEASE HELP!
Get some body with a verizon tab to post or email you the phone.apk put it back in the same location you deleted it from and everything should be fine...
Check your PM
Hey Ainvar check your DM...the file you sent me didn't work, or I don't know how to make it work...

haha ooops!
Well this should teach me to backup APKs more often. I copied over the original Phone.APK and like everyone else.. No 3G anymore. The menu option isn't even selectable. Go figure Phone.APK does more than just 'phone/dialer' stuff.
So yeah, can someone post up the T-Mobile Phone.apk/odex files somewhere. All the ROMs I found are Odin format and not Clockwork Recovery style.
Update:
I just flashed Roto's ROM and all is well. Easy-peezy!
Verizon exchanged mine no questions
First I deleted titanium backup, Z4 and then went to. A verizon store and told the employee I had no idea what happened she didn't ask any questions, she said I'll over night you another. Done deal and I bought mine in November

[REQ] Serendipity

Hey guys, I put a honeycomb theme on my phone before realizing how much stuff I would have to do to make it look good. I decided to go back to the stock serendipity, only to find that it wasnt quite all there [lock screens, act stayed with the theme]. I was wondering if anyone has or could make a stock serendipity theme so people could simply flash that if they dont like they're changed them, or just wanted to go back. I ended up just reflashing the whole rom, and I know there is a better way. Thanks in advance!

Can you give some direction (or link) as to how to push those files?

+1 for directions, I had to re-flash a few days ago, and i couldn't find anything on how to backup / restore the stock Serendipity "theme"
I'm thinking you dl the full rom. open with winrar. take out the mentioned files and then do an adb push command to your phone.
Look inside the .zip theme that you flashed.
Whatever's in there, copy over the corresponding Serendipity files, and flash.
my phone can not be detected by computer anymore after flashing this !!!!! help pls

every time I try to add something to the rom or change something like framework-res it goes into boot loops. suggestions?
Well it seems I can make the changes after the first boot. But if I include in the rom and install with the rom I get boot loops..

if you are trying to add in the modded battery on first boot, the only way i have gotten that to work is by decompiling, making edits by hand, and then recompiling. if i tried using something from the kitchen injected in the initial boot, it just bootlooped.
if you want this to work, you are going to need to learn how to use apk manager and edit the xml. otherwise, stick to just flashing the batt mod after the initial boot
makes sense
That kind of goes back to my original question of how to recompile that stuff so that I can do that. Well when I first started out on this journey.

its not exactly simple.
use apk manager to decompile the apk
make your edits to the xml and add in your images
upon recompile, you will say yes, it is a system apk
select yes again
then in the 'keep' folder you delete all the stuff that you just modded (they will be the original xmls/images in the keep folder, and will actually be replaced by your edits when the recompile completes)
delete the resources file
then finish compiling
it will probably take a few tries to get it right, and have some notes handy if you plan on doing lots of edits at once, but start small and only one small change at a time.

[Q] Icons

Hi,
This might be a very easy thing but i have a nexus one, running stock gingerbread 2.3.4 and it is rooted, i want to change the icons on the phone, like the ones which show battery, 3G, signal strength, etc.
If i can get icons and what do i use to instal it.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks.
Ok well I did a bit of looking around and I found this thread that says that they are saved in framework-res.apk but the directory isn't right because it's a different phone so I took the liberty of looking for it and it's in /system/framework/framework-res.apk so just remove the file get a file from a ROM that you like and swap them (just make sure the names match).
Oh awesome, will try that and hopefully will work, will let you know how it goes. Thanks

Make sure you make a backup, you will probably get a boot loop at best if you just replace the file. It would be easier if you just installed cm7 and used the theme engine.
