Rooting cause warranty loss?
Hi everyone,
New to this forum.
Bought Limited edition honour 4x Nice to have such a great thing in hand.
I am a big fan of rooting as it (use PCs internet to phone) saves my money a lot
I have seen in many of rooting procedure, it is mentioned that rooting will cause the warranty loss.
But I have seen many of you have already rooted. Does the warranty loss holds true to this mobile if rooted?

Download the Rootgenius.
Download the Rootgenius,search from google and install in your pc and connect your phone,be sure that usb debugging is on when you are connecting your phone to pc.One thing is that you have working internet connection on your pc because this root software download some usb driver file of few mb.You root your mobile in less than three minutes.

hi guys i succesfully done bootloader unlock on fastboot mode (huawei honor 4x phone)
now i have a question how to installl
TWRP 2.8.4.0 recovery.img file on phone i have to use fastboot mode and install teamwin s/w via adbtoll (fastboot) mode
r there is an other way pls guide me thx i am doing this reading tis post thx

I have got the unlock code from huawei for my CHE1-L04 (india version). Can someone post a newbie step by step instruction with screen shots to how to use the unlock code to unlock the phone and rooting process also. This will help so many users in the Indian sub continent.
I have rooted my device successfully by using the steps in http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/huawei-honor-4x-inidan-edition-che1-l04-t3099308. There is no need to visit the 03 links given in starting of the thread, if you have unlock code of your device.
struck in bootloop, urgent help needed
i just rooted my mobile unsuccessfully. it got struck on bootloop. i saw it somewhere else and found that bootloader unlock wasn't required for indian version. now i have rebooted it in fast boot.
please can anyone tell me which files to download and how to flash them since the mob struck in bootloop after i restarted it or else there was no problem with root. i already tried clear cache and data but it didnt help in any way.

Hello guys, I need help with this and I know a lot of people need info about this too, I want to root my Huawei P7 L10 with Android Lollipop 5.1.1 (P7-L10C900B839). I already tried with ROOT GENIUS and it didn't work, I got a message something like right now there is not root for my phone, and another saying that the phone disconnected from the pc WHICH IS NOT TRUE. So, could anyone help me please? Also, I don't want to unlock the bootloader, I may be wrong so you should correct me if I am but I think if I just want to root I don't necessarily have to unlock the bootloader, I just want the root for a few minimal changes (to change the font since EMUI 3.1 doesn't let us do that and apply the new emojis to my phone changing a system file). So yeah, could anyone help me, I already checked the other threads and they only suggested a procedure involving unlocking the bootloader...so HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP PLEASE :crying:
there is no other way than unlocking bootloader if you want to root your phone..
for b839 you need to replace the stock recovery with the newest TWRP custom recovery..
through this you can flash the super su (should be available as a zip-file)..
after that you have to delete the set_immutable.list by installing busybox and through commands by a terminal emulator..
when you have done these steps you should have successfully rooted your phone..
if you have read the threads entirely you should have read these information as well - because this had been adviced many times since the b805 beta..
for replacing stock boot or recovery it is always neccessary to unlock the bootloader, otherwise you will always get a "failed" if you try to flash a custom one..

It's really simple, once you've unlocked your bootloader and updated to the latest stock firmware, just flash a custom recovery using flashtool (flashtool flash recovery RECOVERYNAME.img) and flash supersu zip in recovery.

Ok, but I don't know how to unlock the bootloader part sorry, as I said I have never done that. But the other things you said and the other person above about the flashing a custom recovery and flashing super su zip I think I don't have any more questions, although I don't know why in the second link you sent it says emui3.0 and B609, it will work with my lollipop 5.1.1 emui 3.1 and B839? because downgrading is not an option

Hi everyone!
I just purchased a P7-L12 and I just upgraded to Lollipop 5.1.1. I'm very sure this update locked bootloader. Previous versions have unlocked bootloader.
Does anybody know the steps to unlocked this?
on huawei website should be a button for unlocking bootloader..
it is a small one..
just so the steps the website asks to do and you should get clear instructions how to unlock your bootloader..

download adb or fastboot programs on you computer then go to the same file were you installed them then press Control button at keyboard then right click then you get option to open with fastboot
then once you get the cmd screen follow the instruction in the picture

I just tried the dialer code thing and I got this:
FAILED (remote: data parse fail)
boss follow these procedures
1- Download adb or fastboot programs and save them to c: partition on your computer.
2- go to the file were you download the programs.
3- Press ctrl button at keyboard and right click at the mouse at same time.
4- You one option I don't remember exactly but it says something like open file here with adb.
5- You get the cmd screen for adb then you should type the following:
a- adb reboot bootloader.
b- fastboot oem unlock UNLOCK CODE.
It's not going to work, you need to request huawei for unlocking code
yaaa this is what I told him he needs to have unlock code that's why I capitalized this word.
Just go on huawei website and find about bootloader unlocking code. Its very simple

There is a button Unlock Bootloader. Fill the form and then the unlock code will be generated!
I always get "server is busy" or something like that....
Try to login with your facebook-account. That worked fine for me

Hi guys,
I have an Honor 4X Che2-L11, of which I thought the bootloader was unlocked properly. A year ago, when I bought the device, there still no official way to unlock the bootloader; thus having me to rely on some kind of tool. Trying to flash recoveries via ADB results in success but then the phone stuck on Honor's logo; until I power-cycle and goes back to stock with root access.

It came with Lollipop but then I updated it to marshmallow. Then I recently downgraded to lollipop to root it.
Root instructions:-
(Everything will be erased from your device)
1)Get the stock ROM from https://androidmtk.com/download-lenovo-stock-rom-models
2) Use the appropriate packages for your device and flash using SP Flash Tool. (Instructions in website)
3)After downgrading, download kingroot on your pc from https://kingroot.net
4)Use kingroot to root your device

On android 6.0, bootloader can be unlocked by activating OEM unlocking from Developer Options .

I know you are talking of that setting. That only allows you to unlock the bootloader but does not unlock it. You can unlock the bootloader using fastboot commands only. You can check bootloader status by typing this command in fastboot mode ''fastboot getvar unlocked".Good gracious you did not flash anything!!!! You would have got your phone bricked!!!!
Tip:-you can unlock bootloader of any phone ONLY in FASTBOOT MODE!
Do you see I saved your phone from a brick??? Don't you think you should thank me?

I had managed to root my lenovo vibe k5 note.
Android 6.0
But it's just a temporary root. Every time i restart my phone i had to do the same step to root it again.
And i had used many applications like
Emoji switcher
Xposed installer
Gravity box,etc and they are working fine.
The steps to root are
1) Download and Install MediaTek Easy Root version 1.0.2 (compulsory)
2) Download and Install Magisk Manager version 7.3.2 (compulsory)
3) Open MediaTek Easy Root and click on ACTIVATE TEMPORARY ROOT & wait until it says success!
4) After that open magisk manager & it will say require additional setup. Click on no thanks.
And there you go ur lenovo vibe k5 note is rooted.
But remember u had to do the same step every time you restart ur phone.
And the last thing is every rooted app will work but Magisk module will not work
But congratulations for the root

Good afternoon,
i did an silly little thing without thinking, and flashed a nokia 2 with another O/S version without unlocking the bootloader from developer mode,
i was on Build NO 00WW_0_55B - as now it says your phone has an different o/s installed shutting down in 30 seconds,
is there anyway to unlock the phone again or is there an link or something with the 0_55B firmware i cant seem to find it this it for NZ...
i can still get into download mode so i can reflash, but i cant get into hard reset recovery mode....
can someone help please

I was unable to find E1M-037C on Nokia 8 forum, could you kindly provide a link of a trusted one? Will it work with TA-1007?

Still it doesn't work. I have to wait for the release of the app for this specific device. When I installed it says this phone model doesn't support deep testing
The phone has a bug where it doesn't really enter fastboot anyway.
