We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.
Please feel free to look at, build, and use our code on CarbonROM GitHub.
We would like to thank CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods and their code that was incorporated into this project. We also extend our gratitude to the devs whose code that we have incorporated. Proper authorship has been maintained and can be viewed on our repository.
Special thanks also go to Slim Rom for some of their features, AOKP, and anyone else we may have borrowed commits from that hasn't been mentioned here. If you feel you have been unfairly left out, please - let us know.
While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash! If you have questions, ask your fellow users or ask us in #teamcarbon on freenode IRC.

Do not ask for ETA's on this thread! I will build, when new features or some bug fixes are pushed out!
Since these are not nightly builds, I will not update the ROM every day. I will update, when I feel like updating!
Why none of my videos are playing and I can't use viper4android?
- Just change your selinux mode to permissive with the help of an app called selinux mode changer. Google it.
Install that app, then open it and tap on permissive to enable the permissive selinux mode. Also tick the box that shows you the notification when the selinux mode is changed.
That's it, now after every reboot selinux will be set to permissive and all those issues will be gone.

Bug Reporting:
File your bug report here: https://sites.google.com/site/aospalrom/bug-report
Provide a logcat!! This is very important. If we are not able to reproduce the error, a logcat provides very useful information about the error source. How To Logcat
Is the bug reproducable? If yes, how?
Provide a detailed description of your problem! Just writing xyz doesn't work is sometimes not enough. What exactly doesn't work? Does it force close? Does it just not work as suspected?
Optional, but might help us to find the cause of the problem:
What customizations you have made (neither a custom kernel, mods etc.)
State the runtime you are using.

All CM i9300 device tree bugs.

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Don't disable Heads-Up. You wont be able to answer phone calls otherwise.
You tell...
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Lollipop. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
Check here for latest F2FS compatible recovery by @invisiblek: http://www.invisiblek.org/twrp/
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.
If you want to contribute to the AICP or wanna see what is being worked on/merge feel free to visit our gerrit, link is at the bottom!!!

Nope. Not needed.
It's an incredible ROM and we're all very lucky to get the "official" treatment. It's without a doubt the most advanced Lollipop out there for our device, and it runs smoooooooth and flawlessly. Thanks semdoc!

I'm able to get a lock, but I have noticed on the Release build that the phone is staying awake all the time. I haven't had a lot of time to track it down, but I think at least part of it is related to location services. Could this issue be contributing?
As stated before, besides GPS, this is a pretty smooth rom . Lots of options. Thanks for this :good:

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Nice. I can't figure out how to hear anybody on a call without it being on speaker phone, but I guess I'm a moron. Thanks.

Need to check that.... Which recovery did you used during flash?
I flashed the ROM last night and everything is working fine.
I had a 45 minute call and no problems with audio quality during the call.
The only issue, which of common, is the LED being very dim.
Not a deal breaker, I have a smart band for notifications.
Much appreciated to the AICP team.

Well. Out of thanx !! Nice to hear that! :good:
If it's any consolation, I used TWRP 2.8.4.0 to flash the ROM, restored all apps with TB, let that settle down then flashed M5 v3 kernel and I have no issues.
Though I am very impressed with AICP, as usual, I've been down with Lord's work since DHD sense days and when the team dropped AICP on the OneX, been rocking with ya'll since day one
I really love this Rom!
Maybe you could use loudspeaker fix from infected_ ?
It is working
I test it with MultiRom. Works without any Problem ... :good:

Oddly enough, after a few reboots it seems all is well., or the issue was just with the hangouts dialer. So happy there's the option to turn notification lights off in the menu. Thanks for this awesomeness.
Edit: Mom is also very appreciative, as she always whined about there being echoing and stuff on the previous stock/roms I used.
Walkman working bad.
Sony Walkman 8.5.A.2.10 working very bad. Rom is awesome but still have little error.
What download for xperia z2 D6503?
Sorry. I cant see any Gapps to download. So is it inside the rom.zip?

No they're not included, and never will be. You will need to download some yourself, any that was working in other LP ROM's should work fine here.

Are APN settings correct for each SIM
Hi,
I tried three custom ROMs for Yureka; PacMan, Sandy's and Blisspop, I noticed that all these roms had one error, the APN settings were the same for both SIM cards. You couldnt even edit the second one to a diff APN setting.
Can anyone clarify if this ROM has got it correct?
Thanks in advance

why is the wifi patch still required (in build2)? couldn't the fix have been incorporated in the new build?
i tried downloading the new release on my pc with internet download manager. unfortunately, the download was interrupted. however, on resuming, the download was completed. i've got an md5 checksum of 32df95085d32dd6a0683ea91a8cf226e for that file. can someone confirm this or post the correct value so that i can take a decision on using/discarding the file? many thanks.

Post the detailed Information your issue. And I said no fc which was present in first build .
Excellent rom . found no bugs and running smoothly . battery okay with 5hrs sot with thunderzap
Excellent. Using it on daily based and have installed latest 30th May Nightly as well. Smooth, No FCs, Stable and better ROM compared to others...
Only few Minor issues I found are:
1. Notification LED does not work for notifications (Need urgent fix)
2. In build Ad Blocker throws error when try to update list.
3. inbuilt Keyboard does not support gesture typing. Install google key board as alternative.

^^^ +1
Working well
After waiting for feedback from others, I flashed the AICP nightly of 01/06/2015(search in AICP downloads under Tomato).
1. Everything is working fine.
2. Xposed and xprivacy working well.
3. Gravity box not needed as most of the things of gravity box is available under AICP ectras in the ROM itself.
Earlier I had said that the ROM were working well(unofficial CM12, OctoOS, and SOKP) only to find that many random reboots occur after 1 to 2 days.
So I am not going to comment on this ROM's stability just now. Neverthless, so far so good.
Thanks for all those behind AICP.
Since tomato is officially under AICP why not a official thread for AICP Tomato?
Hi,
Can Anyone tell me if this ROM is 64-BIT COMPATIBLE. Can i flash it over cm12 (Android 5.0.2).
[Q ] AICP is 64bit? MD5 check sum Value?

Great one @quanganh2627 keep going!!
I must flash xposed with this rom?
Good job! The ROM is very fluid.
I found these bugs:
Vibration is not working.
And just as the Resurrection Remix, I can not use the headset controls for back/pause/forward music with the locked screen because the screen lights turn on instead of changing the music.

I'm use this ROM from last night. So far its okay. Smooth ! I'm will stay on this ROM even vibrate not working. Hahaha. Awesome
@quanganh2627 need to set apn manually for mobile data.
It does not have to take the screen bug block alone?
everything looks fine, but vibration not work, you were right guys, ambient display too, and apn must be set up manually, and little problem with expanded signal option on notification drawer, after tapping carrier name settings with signal options pop up, not expanded signal enabler with limit transfer. but it's smooth i can tell... good work, but I miss ressurection options... just dreaming about carbon rom with all customization features... haha
