Considering either the Gear S or the Urbane.
I know there are lots of watch faces for the Urbane.
Specifically, though, I'm looking for one like the Gear S is often pictured with that shows the Date, Battery, Notifications, & Steps on the watch face, along with the Analog Time.
Anyone seen anything like this?

Jay, I looked through the link you posted, but didn't see any that displayed all those. Have you actually seen one, or are you just assuming it's out there (asking for clarification)?
edit: you can still answer if you've actually seen one as I described, but I just realized that the site you linked is far bigger than a single pg, so I'm still going through it.
Jay, as stated, I didn't realize how many faces you actually linked. Were those made through an app (like Watchmaker or Facer), if so, how hard is it to do?
I've a feeling that if making my own is not terribly difficult, I may be hooked.

True, while they are not allowed we still have other VS. threads in the N5 section that have not been closed so it looks like they are letting them stay.
I think they are great and don't understand the reason why XDA would lock them anyway. If people do not care about a certain phone vs. another don't read it. It is not like the titles are misleading like so many other worthless threads that get opened here.

It's not a paid app; we're just restricted to only distributing through the Samsung store, currently.
We don't currently support the Note 2; however, our release in the new year will.

It's not currently available for anything but Note3 I think.
i've downloaded the app.. and like most american apps, they do not have a feature to use kilograms or centimeters! please stop being ignorant from the beginning...

Thanks for the insight. We're working on a freemium model for a Feb release. We'll likely support ads, but they'll be contextual or relative to the workout. Example, if you're performing a strength workout, we'll provide insight on when to take protein and may have a sponsor. We may also offer sponsored workouts, but we'll stay away from "over branding". Thoughts?

We have a January release that will support the S3. We currently only support the Note 3 and S4.

According to my search on this forum, it's been at least two months since root of Galaxy S6 Active was mentioned last, so I thought I'll try again...
I am trying to figure out if there is a way to root the phone now? I tried KingoRoot, Towel Root, PingPong, King and nothing worked...
Would the phone get bricked if I try the rooting via Odin using the files for the regular S6 (G920)?
Is it possible to just flash CyanogenMod and thus get both the rom and root that way?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Far as I know, there has been no news regarding root for S6 Active.
There is a group of people trying to put together a bounty for a S6 Active root, but the problem is nobody is really sure how to properly setup the bounty

Yet another thing that confuses me....why is the edge and active so different from the normal 6. Why would there be any reason for the internals to be changed besides maybe moving some stuff around so it fits right. I am so happy I decided not to get the active even though I learned today that it has 1000 more mAh than the normal/edge which if I would've known that at purchase I would of gotten it... I feel your pain guys. It is even worse that it is an ATT Active of all things, :/
Agree! Android really is different without root.
I have had my G890A (S6 Active) for just over a month.
This is the longest I've ever had a non-rooted Android phone since my first HTC many years back. It's frustrating!
The phone's nice. It's got the bigger battery, a bit tougher, and not too large (but I *am* tired of "demo'ing" the phone-in-a -glass-of-water trick for friends already .
I like the promise of durability, but chaff at lack of root, and the personal tweaks that I took for granted on my S4, my S2 and other rooted android phones. . .

Well I think one of the question is whether it is actually any different from the normal 6 from the root perspective? Has anyone tried to use 6 firmware on it?

I'm in the same boat. I got a good deal on Swappa for this phone and love the hardware. I'd love root to remove bloatware, install xposed modules and remove ads. This phone has huge potential but falls short.

You know what man, you're out of line and I'm going to give you some advice. This type of attitude is not what this site is for. Keep scrolling if it bothers you so much. No rules have been broken. Before you try to police threads for no reason you should re-read the rules yourself.
If this is the type of thing that you plan on bringing to the table with regularity you may not be around long out here, nor will anyone offer support for when you need it. And one day you will. We all do, myself included. So you may wish to consider being nice to people so you don't get a bad rep for being "that guy" that no one wishes to deal with. Trust me that's not a fun place to be. No one wants to be that guy.
Remember this is a fun hobby we all share so there's no need to spoil things and take the fun out of this for people when they've done nothing wrong. He's made a thread in a relatively inactive section regarding something he felt like sharing that he found helpful. There's no harm in that at all. It's kind of the backbones of the site if you think about it.

If you are in the UK you only get the ear buds as an option, you only get the battery if you pre-order the galaxy watch active

same here. I shut web page down and started it again via the members app. It always picks up where you left off, but still hung on processing uploaded file, but eventually completed
