OR!.....
just copy the theme file from
\data\overlays\jsonfiles\trialjson
to
\data\overlays\jsonfiles\userjson
and reboot!
I have verified many of them work (the ones I have tried are black, white, and space theme.)

There is no such thing as a Verizon or At&T theme.... They are all for the same device

Correction the themes from the Verizon forum work on our devices.

There is no Verizon themes... They are all for the S6. Doesn't matter if it's in the Sprint/AT&T/International forum.... There is only ONE theme tool.

Clarification..
If you have an AT&T S6... browse over to the OTHER S6 forums as the one I have listed are not carrier specific.

Looks good...I have purchased the paid version, how would I use this anyway to get it as a theme only?

This is last of the free versions. It would need to be converted to ADW Ex to work. So far I have not work on the paid version, not sure if I ever will.
Thanks for this...your work is always great!

The only apk that needed to be changed was the framework.apk for Bonsai 2.0.1. All other apk will work just fine, added a string in one of xml's located in framework for the reboot option to work.

installing downloaded fonts

What would be the best way to install downloaded fonts from say dafont.com? If it makes a difference I am on Apex 10.1 with the mattedblues theme.

I must be missing something here, I installed the app and made the folder it asked me to and threw the fonts into the folder (and true type fonts specifically), how can I make it though so that it pops up in the list when I go to Display > fonts ? All that stays there is just the default ones that came with the rom. And then when I hit on apply it does it through the whole phone.
I was hoping that I could do is have the options of more fonts when I use an app for say minimalistic text and what not.
you shouldnt need an app. just a folder.
was the folder in /system/fonts/ from the root folder? NOT sdcard/fonts or sdcard/external_sd/sytem/fonts? BAD!
drop truetype fonts in system/fonts (root required) and reboot!

You can use Font-Installer-Root-Full_v1.0
Install and choose font! reboot => Done! (Very very beautiful font )
The legitimate way, is to make them into apps that FlipFont can read. Anything else requires overwriting the default "droidsans" fonts.
Or modding whatever system files tell the phone to look for droidsans. Even then it might cause problems since those are not digitally signed, and end user (non-dev phone) versions of Android don't run unsigned (as in not from a reputable source) apps/files.

[SOFTKEYS] Colorful Xyboard style softkeys Updated 6/10

Hello forum,
I found Alex9090's post and from that post I took the sofkteys, and started changing their colors.
Note: I did not come up with the shape of the softkeys. I just re-colored the ones I found.
As of now, I have the xyboard softkeys in white, orange, green, and dark blue.
Feel free to post screenshots and what not. Or even your comments too.
For the white softkeys, I used the stock theme. For the orange softkeys, I used the "Holo Orange" theme. For the green softkeys, I used the "greenICS" theme. For the dark-blue softkeys, I used the Natemodz theme. I used these themes to show off my softkeys, but the rest of the ui was not created by me. Except for the softkeys portion, these themes were not made by me. And I was not the creator of the shape of the softkeys. I only recolored the ones that came from the Xyboard.
NOTE:
These softkeys definitely work on MDPI devices like most tablets. The Zipthemer zips put the softkeys in drawable-mdpi, so those zips are for mdpi devices ONLY! But the non Zipthemer zips should be able to be used in HDPI or XHDPI (not tested though).
ALWAYS MAKE A NANDROID! (especially when flashing)
"ics_softkeys_xyboard_[anything]" is NOT a flashable zip. It should be used in AOKP's Rom Control or the equivalent in other roms to change the softkeys.
"MMZT_softkeys_xyboard_[anything]" is NOT a flashable zip either. It should be used in Zipthemer or Metamorph(haven't tried Metamorph) to patch the needed files. Then the zip Zipthemer spits out is what you flash at your own risk in recovery.
One last thing... Don't forget to press thanks on my post, as well as Alex9090's post!
I've added some screenshots of my own.
MMZT_softkeys_xyboard_[anything] instructions:
1. Download the desired MetaMorph/Zipthemer theme and if you don't have it already, MetaMorph/Zipthemer from the play store. I personally haven't tried MetaMorph, but I know Zipthemer works.
2. Open Zipthemer and configure it for the Xoom (there are guides out there if you are confused) However, make sure that you set Zipthemer to make an undo-zip too.
3. Click "+Input" and navigate to the downloaded zip.
4. Click build it. Zipthemer will generate flashable zips, specifically made for your rom/configuration.
5. Zipthemer will by default place the new flashable zips at the root of the xoom's internal storage. If that isn't accessible to your recovery, place the new flashable zips in a place you can access in recovery.
6. Flash the *update.zip if you are applying the theme and reboot.
7. Enjoy!
***Note, if you created an undo zip and want to revert back to your old softkeys, flash the undo zip instead.
For people using theme chooser roms:
Note that the zipthemer method of changing softkeys will most likely not work with themes that theme the softkeys themselves. If you plan on using this softkey mods like "greenICS" (-great theme BTW), then you will have to use the softkey changer in the rom you are using to change the softkeys manually, and you will have to download the first zip instead.
Nice!. Thanks for these.

Change dialer and settings wallpaper in any theme store theme?

As many of you know, many themes would be great if they just didn't have some super strange background in the dialer, settings, etc.
There's got to be a way to change this for any theme in the theme store.
Can anyone help us all out with a solution?

Here is what you need to do:
-Install the theme from the store
-Browse to /data/app and find all the folders pertaining to your theme. Then find the specific folder that relate to the element you ware wanting to remove the wallpaper from (ie. com.themename.settings-1).
-Copy the base.apk in the folder to your computer
-Decompile with APK tool.
-Remove the .qmg that is the background. Update your public.xml
-Recompile and use original signature
-Place APK back into folder in /data/app and set correct permissions
-Reboot
:good:

Yes, as long as you aren't sharing the theme as it's a paid theme. You will want to pull all the APKs and change edit the colors.xml looking for 454545 to change.
