For anyone looking for a cheap qi charger - Galaxy S6 Edge Accessories

So while browsing ebay last night, I came across a Liberty Mutual insurance ad, basically you complete a quote (you dont have to purchase anything, just finish the quote process) and about 24 hours later, they send you a 10 dollar ebay gift card. I used this 10 dollar gift card to purchase a powerbot QI charger (9.99 with free shipping) , if you can get this ad to pop up on your ebay page its a pretty sweet deal. I will post a review of the charger once I receive it, but just thought I would let everyone know

I bought a cheap QI wireless charger, its not powerful enough to charge with a case on. I have to remove the case for it to charge.

I am also looking for one. and decide to buy one a guy recommended on ebay .

IMO dont go for a cheap charger we are paying hundreds of dollars for this device and if you charge your device with less than 3 coils you can defect your battery.

Source? The 3 coils should just expand the effective charging area. There shouldn't be any detriment if the charger has less than 3 coils.

I've tested quite a few, if you want something that works and is not a vampire charger get the samsung round charger or PMA mats. Most of the qi chargers i tested don't have the IC to detect a phone and draw current when not charging.

Thx greatly.

I got a cradle from these guys. It was a $29.00 and it has an extra slot for a second battery to charge. I convinced the Sprint Repair Center that the battery life really sucked and they gave me an extra battery, so I was looking for a charger that could do 2 batteries.
The charger did not come with any documentation. It is one of two dual chargers on the Website http://www.talkietech.com/ and it is the one where the battery sits flat, behind the handset. It is not the one made by HTC (ORA) where the batter is upright. That one is $79 but i bet it will work better and it has 3 led's one for each battery and one for power!
The device has two led's on it and they simply do not change color, no matter what you do. One stays blue and the other green. The sales guy at TalkeiTech was very helpful but said that there was a replacement version coming in November.
Apparently the problem is from having one or both the USB and power cords plugged in (rapid charge option) at the same time. He stated you need to have both plugged in simultaneously.
I was using it as a simple charger that was near the door to the garage so I could charge both batteries as soon as I got home.
I use the Boxwave charger at my desk but it only has space for one battery but only needs USB (slow charge option).
I have now swapped the chargers so the dual one is attached to my PC and an electrical outlet, the left led seems to be for the 2nd battery and it changed red when I plugged in a low battery otherwise nothing else happened.
We are now negotiating for a new charger . . . .

Defective Mogul Cradle
I just obtained a new car cradle from Buy GPS Now
http://www.buyGPSnow.com
The thing is an absolute piece of junk. This is the second one they sent me. They claimed the first one needed a longer USB connector and that this new one was equipped with it.
Well that is not the case. The new one has some rubber strips on the sides to hold the phone in place because the device is really made for the thicker TyTn’s such at the AT&T 8125, 8525 and the new TyTn II (Tilt).
It is obvious that there is no one doing any quality control. On the first one I though it may be the length of the USB as they claim so I took it apart and plugged the full connector into the Mogul and powered it up, and the same conditions existed: the device would charge for a second and then stop charging and then the phone would lock up. This is a firmware issue not a connector issue.
Anyway they are slow to respond since they do not have a telephone number and you wait forever for a live chat person who seems to be NOT Empowered to do anything . . .
I got 2 from here and they work real nice, very high quality batteries, lasts longer than my original one from sprint... I tried those $10 or less batteries before and their capacity fluctuate wildly, but not these:

same as the original, 1500mAh, actually these batteries are made by the same company, i think the only reason why it lasts longer than my original is because these are new and the original has been used for 2 months already

I have not ordered anyhing here yet.
Bought the 3200 mAh battery from Seidio
Bought it about 3-4 days ago. Showed up without any fanfare. Also got the slim rubberized case (hint, the super extended battery and the slim rubberized case DO NOT go together).
So far, I have been charging like normal, I usually keep it plugged in at work and have noticed that about 30 minutes after taking it off the cable, the power drops to about 90%. this could be the battery "conditioning" as the Seidio site says. Don't know yet.
Oh, I had to write to Seidio to point out that the main page graphic says "3600 mAh" and the battery that ships is 3200 mAh. Apparently the only ones who make a 3600 mAh battery are Mugen (google it, Mugen 3600 mAh Mogul battery).
I also ordered the stylus/pen combo. This is worth the money. I'm constantly looking for a pen, but ALWAYS have my phone. The pen expands out to be very comfortable to hold, not some tiny thing that you're left feeling like a giant with a midget pen.
The battery... well, time will tell if the expense was worth the cost.
Can more people who have either the Seidio 3200 or the Mugen 3600 batteries post something on performance or experience so I can get an idea. I am still debating. Seidio 3200 or Mugen 3600. I have a Verizon XV6800. I'm a power user and i will gladly sacrifice the size of my device for more battery life. I'm also debating on whether I should get 1 or 2 of these. Having the stock battery is like being on a leash...well for me at least. I did a bunch of searches on forums but there is not too much info especially on the Mugen 3600mah. Thanks guys.
Mugen or Seidio, you'll have to judge for yourself
I have the Seidio. I'm not about to go out and buy a Mugen as well as the Seidio battery. These things are quite large to lug around in my pocket. I may be a power user as well. The only question is, are you not near a power source for a long enough time to warrant getting one of these?

Thanks for the speedy response. My problem is i play in alot off basket leagues and tournaments and for work am out at a customer siteanywhere from 8 to 18 hours...nothing looks more ghetto than being with a customer and asking if they have a place you can charge your ur cell...lol. I need the secure feeling that i dont have to charge my phone 8 times a day. I actually think i am going to get 2 of the Seidio 3200s because i like the rubber case that they may be coming out with.

RND Power Solutions Deluxe Cradle

Just wanted to post a brief review of the RND Power Solutions Deluxe Cradle. I saw another thread on their synch/charge cradle, but not for this cradle.
I purchased it via Amazon for $25 + $3 shipping. It arrived quickly.
It holds the Note 2 in a vertical position and also holds and charges a second battery at the same time. I bought one in white. It is a brighter white than the front of my white Note 2, but it certainly looks like it was made to go with my phone. I think it looks sharp. The phone is sturdily held; it's easy to use the screen while the phone is in the cradle. I have not measured the charging time for either the phone or the second battery. However, they both seem to charge at "normal" speeds.
Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.
Does it come with a charger?
Samsung sells a really nice similar bundle that comes with a second battery but I don't think it charges the phone while docked
swyped all these spelling errors from my galaxy note 2
Yes, it comes with a charger.
I saw the Samsung one. As you mention, it doesn't charge the phone. That's why I bought the RND one.
What amperage does it charge at? How about the battery recharger? If you use the Samsung OEM power cable the Samsung OEM charger will charge at 1.7 amps which is the highest I've seen. Fully recharges drained battery in 2 to 3 hours. These 450 mah or lower chargers take FOREVER and if you are suing the phone will drain faster than they charge. Unless the main charger is 2.1 amps it isnt worth it.

Anker or Hyperion 2x 3100mAh - which is better

So, I've been wanting to get a second (and third) battery for my Note II when it arrives. Which of the two are better, though? A lot of people seem to support Anker but it looks like Hyperion are good as well, and seemingly cheaper.
Any advice would be very much appreciated, and thanks

I keep a set of the Anker's that you listed there, in my emergency bag. I based the purchase off their reputation and Vectron's review.
Both are reliable brands, cost the same (Anker w/free shipping, Hyperion with $5 shipping) and I have a feeling they get their batteries from the same source (neither of them manufacturer their own stuff). But I can say with certainty you will get a much better support from Anker and also 18 months extended warranty. Also, I'm not quite sure why Hyperion says "now with NFC" when these are standard slim batteries to use with Note 2 original battery cover that has NFC antenna built-in (no need for anything built into a battery).

Thanks as well! Yeah, it's the S3 that has the NFC chip built into the battery, isn't it?
I'd like to ask also - how is the Anker wall charger? Like, how long does it take to charge from the wall?

Their wall charger is 600mA which is probably the highest you can get in that type of charger. At least I haven't seen any wall battery chargers or universal wall battery chargers at 1A or higher.

Gah. So it sounds like you pretty much have to charge it overnight, then? Or save time and charge it in the phone?
Also I'd like to ask one other question of you - do the Seidio Vitreo screen protector and Otterbox Commuter go well together? Any problems with fitting, etc?

$3 Wireless Charging

Got these from aliexpress for $3 bucks a piece. I can't tell if they're finicky but for some reason they don't connect every single time.
Is it a phone issue or charger issue?
I might try with the 3 coil chargers.

AliExpress sells very generic, "fake" branding products. Your Anker charge is NOT actually Anker. I have the Anker PowerPort Qi Wireless charger and it is UNREAL. So accurate and I have not had any issues with charging. Worth the $12.

Official Samsung Fast Qi Wireless Charger

I would really like to purchase the Samsung Qi fast wireless charger
but I have a few questions about it before I buy one.
#1: How much slower is the fast wireless Qi charger when compared to
the standard samsung fast usb charger which comes with the phone?
#2: Does the phone get hot or very warm when it's charging wirelessly?
#3: Does the phone charge slower when it has a one piece case on it?
Thanks in advance,
Have a great day!
#1, add around 30% time to charge
#2 Not that i have noticed
#3 Depends on the case

I bought one from here and it was legit (not fake). Buy one and if you don't like it, send it back. I dock my phone every night I go to sleep. It has a very quite fan noise and the charging light notification is bright, but some electrical tape can take care of it.

I have both, the flat and the tilted charger from Samsung. I got an extra at Radio Shack going out of business, gutted it, and put it under the cubby hole in my car to charge while driving. The flat one I have next to my computer and use it rarely. The tilted charger, be warned. The lip of it where the phone sits is extremely narrow; 3 weeks after I got my Edge 7, it became an Olympic ski jumper, slid off the charger, off the desk, and right into the metal rail on my bed and cracked the housing at the charging port. I really only use the home chargers when I go to bed, and the one in my car while driving 40 miles to and from work. I like them because I've been getting Ringke cases that have port covers, and using the wireless, I don't risk marring the finish trying to connect a cable. It's funny how many people see it, either at work, or when I installed it in the car, and really like the idea. I never take my case off to charge, and never really notice it being any hotter than if I were using it for an extended time period.

I know, but you are thinking of buying one. I'm simply giving you a link, if you decide to buy one, to a REAL Samsung fast wireless charger for a good price. The market is flooded with fake ones at low prices. Usually, if the price is fairly low, then it's a fake Samsung product.

Every time i use it (with s6 edge+ or s7 edge) it charges, no problem at all, even with the cases (s6e+ has verus high pro shield and s7e has spigen case rugged armor)
I don't have Samsung QI Charger, I got my QI Wireless Charger from Anker, Very great quality for the half of price and do the same job
Since i am not using fast charging via cable and always charge the regular - slow - way so i got the regular one from Anker, Charge time is as same as the cable time.
No major heat or something just the regular warmth, and working fine with cases.
I like it, very easy to just place the phone and wake away , no cables or USB Port damage, Won't back to regular charge

I have two of them. Stand.
#1: 20-30%
#2: It gets warm even with the fan at the back of the charger running all the time. Not hot and not very warm.
#3: Not in my case and I have cases with different thickness.
