Here is the latest edition of my rom called "PureX L" based on Android Lolipop 5.0.2 firmware 10.6.A.0.454 for Sony Xperia Z . You can use this rom in both C6603 and C6602. This rom comes with an amazing Aroma script. So you can select which device you using from AROMA. Lots of simple mods included in AROMA.
You can customize your XZ with the AROMA add on pack. After flashing Base rom u can flash Aroma add on pack and choose your desired mods. No need to keep 100s of Mods zip in ur phone.

A :- No you can't. Once u choose Dolby Digital Plus u can't remove it. The only way is re flashing rom with a full wipe

A :- Re flash aroma and choose what you want but do not wipe data. Choose No wipe from Aroma
Q :- My bootloader is Unlocked. After flashing v3 do i need to flash a custom kernel ?

lol a solution can't come fast enough...
The thing is, I could unlock my bootloader but every time I do, it never seems to work quite the way it should. And I can't risk bricking my phone so I'm just playing it safe for now.

Simply use SELinux Mod Changer app mate.. Change the mod to Permissive and reboot. Viper4android should work...
I have already done that. Bt every time I reboot it changes back to enforcing.

But i am using it in my Z2 without any problems bro.. The mod remins Permissive always.. Which version u using..? I am using 2.0.2 minified

Q- How to install OTA?
A- After Downloading OTA from OTA updater uncheck all options and press install, it'll reboot to recovery, there Goto Install>sdcard (external storage) >OTAupdater>download>update(zip) and flash it then reboot

Q- How To Change Battery Style in the ROM?
A- See Settings> Personalization > Status bar Battery Styles. Make Sure to Check on "Charge Animations" in case of Styles that Do not Have names beginning with "Xperia"
Q- Xposed/ Gravity Box not working?
A- Make sure that all Xposed apps are in Internal memory and not sd card and update again.
Goto settings>apps and Move Xposed and Gravity Box or all other modules to Internal Memory.
Run Xposed and in Frameworks again Run "INSTALL/UPDATE" and reboot.
Now just UNCHECK Gravity Box and RE-CHECK Gravity Box and reboot.
Q-Problem with any 3rd party app?
A- Make sure it's in Internal storage and not sd card
Wipe data of the app if still happens
Q-Camera shows 6MP instead of 13MP?
A- change preview mode from full screen to 4:3
Q-How to switch between Notification Panel and Quick Settings?
A-Drag the Notification Panel with two fingers for Quick Settings

Install Xposed Installer and gravity box, open Xposed Installer, tap on framework and Select install/update, don't reboot, Goto modules and tick gravity box then reboot.
Now open gravity box and goto statusbar tweaks>QuickSettings management>quick pulldown>right
And now pull the notification bar from the right side (where the clock is located) of your statusbar to get to QuickSettings
Q- feeling scrolling is slow?
A-Install Xposed Installer and xuimod, open Xposed Installer, tap on framework and Select install/update, don't reboot, Goto modules and tick xuimod then reboot.
Open xuimod and goto scrolling mod>scrolling configurations>set scroll friction to lower than 20
Q-How to switch between the Sims while calling or messaging?
A- Use The top-left icon on the notification panel to switch between Sims

@FSadino I think you have updated update version PXZ2-4.3.7 on PXZ2-4.2.0 if that this is the issue you are facing.
Please wait for the Rom version PXZ2-4.3.5 i will upload it by tomorrow coz today my internet is not working well
First flash the version PXZ2-4.3.5 then update to PXZ2-4.3.7 it's working like a charm no fc no hang dolby is also good and i tested it fully everything is working fine.

With dolby activated I can't volume up or down. It only have mute or max

Just 2 bug :
1) Gallery don't work i see date of pictures but the picture stayed black
2) After every reboot touchpad blacklight don't work , after disable and enable function light work again.
And very good news my smartwatch 2 work very good with this rom.

For gallery we don't have any problem i have tested it and using this rom since you can try the thing is that go to settings>apps>gallery(Album) and clear the cache
if you are asking for bottom backlights (Capacitive lights) then this Rom's developer didnt provide the update yet but you can try to flash this patch and check may be it will work but first take full backup

After weeks of hard work here is the Black Edition of the Ultimate PureXZ Ultra ROM based on Android 4.4.4 Firmware 10.5.1.A.0.283. Called Ultimate BlackXZ Ultra v1. yes i know that bro. i'm in UB and i hope that i will work. when in 4.4.2, my bravia engine worked fine with UB, but after upgrading to 4.4.4, it doesn't work again :silly:

Just flashed your ROM and I must say "WOW"
It is aesthetically so beautiful and pleasing that I just love it.
Bugs so far I have found is just one :-
1. Keyboard force closes each time.
2. Recovery seems to be from Xperia Z and needs scaling.
3. ICE - In Case of Emergency crashed the UI when opened for the first time and later it takes very long time to load and if called to anyone, it takes long time to call them. If only opened, then the clock vanishes from the lockscreen. If locked again and power button pressed, everything works fine but if ICE pressed again, it loses it mind all over again. (ICE comes only over secure lockscreen.)
3. Don't seem to find any other issues, but have been using this ROM since very short time.
I would update this post with any other bugs or glitches if found...

ROM tested on LB C5502, Working for 2 hours till now
The Rom is working great without any bugs at all, even keyboard and ICE worked properly and smooth..
Still there is the Recovery scaling problem, would tell you that this LB Dual Recovery For ZR is working great so if you can include it instead of the current one (Flashable zip / Installer)
Some Notices :
1. "Close all" Button in the recent apps menu is not centered
2. Folders font is white making it hard to see
3. Quick settings menu is useless and not accessible, as it is now accessible through the notification panel itself
4. "USB Storage Removed" written instead of "Reebot"

Hi, thanks for amazing ROM, i have found bugs:
1) When adding Google account login and password write white symbols (invisible text)
2) Folder on Home has white symbol on white backgroud (invisible text)
3) In Sony Album App don't work LED
Please fix bugs and add to ROM
1) Media volume for Advanced Volume Bar
2) Create mod for Camera app, where Camera app start from button without any sound.

using the ROM for day, it's pretty smooth and fast :good:
i noticed that the white text is a general issue in many apps
it may help you to help to find where the bug is.
and if you got time could you tell us how to make the "Close All" button in the center like the one in the screenshot, i feel it looks better
and btw i can test the future versions for you, if you need a tester i'm here if i can help in anything
EDIT :
The expanded volume panel is missing the media volume, only appears when playing walkman..etc
and there is a bluetooth one, i don't know what it is, and when i try to unlink the phone and notification volume with gravity box it didn't work, hope you see what's wrong here

UNDERSTANDING AROMA INSTALLATION
Hi guys
Here i am going to tell you how to use my AROMA rom. Please read all the below described things first then proceed to ROM installation. Without reading properly please don not spam thread. So let's begin...
1. WELCOME SCREEN
After selecting the rom from your sd card it will prompt to a Welcome Screen. So press " Next " to continue to next page...
2. ROM OR CUSTOMIZE
Install Stock Deodexed ROM
If you are coming from any other roms ( 4.1,4.2,4.3,4.4+,CM,AOSP etc.. ) means please choose this option. This will wipe your system. Thats's means it will wipe data factory reset , wipe cache and dalvik cache.. So its called a clean installation.. You must ( 100% ) choose this option when you installing this ROM first time. Otherwise ur phone will not boot to OS.
Note :- This option will install a pure stock deodexed rom in ur device. No ported apps. Just a stock deodexed rom with bunch of tweaks..
Customize Your ROM
Choose this option only if you already on Ultimate DualXZ Ultra White or Ultimate DualXZ Ultra Black ROMs. So you will not loose any of your data. If you are in any other roms means don't choose this option. You must choose above option..
You can use this option when you want to select any other options like changing lock screen mod , full screen caller mod , etc etc..
3. DEVICES
Xperia C6603
Choose this option if you have a C6603 device
Xperia C6602
Choose this option if you have a C6602 device
Note :- C6602 users can also choose C6603 option. Nothing will happen.. But C6603 users never choose C6602 option. You will lost LTE and some other functions..
4. ROM SELECTION
Ultimate DualXZ Ultra White
Choose this option if you want to install a white rom in your device. With maximum of Z3 ported apps except Z3 settings and Ultra Stamina Mod.
Ultimate DualXZ Ultra Black
Choose this option if you want to install a pure black rom in your device. With maximum of Z3 ported apps except Z3 settings and Ultra Stamina Mod. You can feel a very very pure black UI in this ROM. No more ugly grey look any where..
Note :- If you want a pure stock rom with deodexed apps means no need to choose these 2 ROMs. If you don't choose any of these 2 ROMs means Pure Stock Deodexed ROM will install by default..
5. LOCK SCREEN
You can choose and install various Lock Screen mod from here..
6. SYSTEM UI
Here you can choose and install various types of SystemUI mods. You can find descriptions for each SystemUI mods below them in AROMA installation.
7. PHONEBOOK AND DIALER MOD
Here you can install various types of full screen caller mods. Both white and black mods.. So you can choose as per your choice. And also included stock phonebook mod so you can revert back to stock if you don't want full screen caller mod..
8. ROOT
Install ROOT
You must choose this option if you installing this ROM first time. If you are customizing this ROM means no need to select this option.
No ROOT Method
Sorry. Useless option for now...
9. DPI DUALXZ ULTRA WHITE
Here you can choose various types of Small DPI navigation bar mod for DualXZ Ultra White ROM. 5 Mods included. 32 , 36 , 40 , 43 and 48. If you are on DualXZ Ultra Black ROM means do not choose this option. You will lost all the sexy look of pure black..
10. DPI DUALXZ ULTRA BLACK
Here you can choose various types of Small DPI navigation bar mod for DualXZ Ultra Black ROM. 5 Mods included. 32 , 36 , 40 , 43 and 48. If you are on DualXZ Ultra White ROM means do not choose this option. You will lost some functions and also you will face some text color issue.. So choose carefully.
11. PHONEBOOK DUALXZ ULTRA BLACK
Phonebook With Stock Keypad
Choose this option if you want a stock black dialer keypad. With grid lines. ( You can find Screens in SCREENSHOTS are ).
Phonebook With Flat Keypad
Choose this option if you want a modded pure black dialer keypad. With pure flat UI.. ( You can find Screens in SCREENSHOTS are ).
After selecting all option you want press " Next " to continue to next page...
12. BOOTANIMATION
You can install various types of bootanimation from here. Test by your self. I can't provide any video or screens..
13. TWEAKS
Choose various types of Tweaks from here.. Read description from AROMA installer..
14. ADVANCED VOLUME MENU
Advanced Volume Menu Mod
Choose this option if you want a Advanced Volume Control Pannel.
Stock Volume Mod
Choose this option if you want to revert to stock volume bar. I have included this option because some users does not like Advanced Volume pannel.
15. ADVANCED POWER MENU
Advanced Power Menu
Choose this option only if you selected Stock Deodexed ROM from AROMA installer. Do not use this mod in both DualXZ White and Black Roms. This option is only for Stock Deodexed ROM.
Stock Power menu
Choose this option if you don't want Advanced Power Menu. Only for Stock Deodexed ROM.
Note : If you done any mistake or if you want to change any thing means u can simply press " Back. " . If AROMA installrion stuck means re install AROMA from sd card again.
After selecting all options you want press " Next " to continue to next page ...
Press " Install " to install Ultimate DualXZ Ultra rom in your device...
After successfully installed rom just click finish or reboot...
Enjoy my simple ROM...

Please don't use my ROM as a base for your future roms. Including Updater script and all the stuffs. Please make your rom from scratch. Only i can feel the pain when i was building and uploading this ROM. I know my ROM is not a big superfast and bug free rom. Its just a normal ROM. But please make your ROM from scratches. If i found some one i will surely report without any PM.
There is some hidden things inside the Updater script , ( Adding Stock Kernel In ZIP) and also inside some apps. So no one can cheat me. Also do not use my AROMA script without my permission.
Please don't mistake me. Its my Weeks of hard work without any REST.. :fingers-crossed:

Can i flash this rom, lock the bootloader and restore DRM Keys ?
For have all sony features perfectly working, camera noise cancellation, bravia engine etc .

Yes. Simply flash this rom. Then lock bootloader and restore drm. All functions should work 100%. Because after flashing this ROM u will get stock kernel. So no need to worry..

If i not block bootloader and restore Drm key Sony features don't work ?
We are sure that is required Locked Bootloader and restore DRM keys for enable all sony features (Bravia Engine camera noise cancellation etc)? From Kitkat forward I saw that everything worked with UB and without restore DRM Keys. I also read around this one. But I'm not sure 100%.

Here i am presenting a rom for Xperia Z2 based on stock android 5.1.1 firmware 236. Fully stock Odexed and maximum Bloatwares removed. Only important bloatwares are in rom. U can remove other bloatwares by urself using Root Explorer..
I am not telling that my rom is awesome with great battery life.. I can only tell this rom is far better than stock sony rom. U will get a decent battery life. Not very good. Because 5.1.1 is not a battery friendly OS..
PureX Z2 v10 comes with a beautiful aroma installer. Included patch for D6502/D6503. So D6502 users can enjoy this simple stock rom..

(2) Version 11 is a full rom.
(3) If you select Dolby Digital Plus mod from aroma means u will lost stock Sony sound settings and stock sounds. So u should flash rom v11 again without any wipes to get stock Sony sound settings back.
(4) Don't choose any SystemUI mod if u planning to install Xposed Framework. You can choose SystemUI mods after installing xposed framework and setup. Or if you don't need Xposed means u can choose SystemUI mods as ur wish. The problem is sometimes xposed not working over modded SystemUI
(5) D6503/D6502 users should choose Patch from rom before booting into phone after first flash.
(6) Never restore your backups. Always install apks manually. I am not responsible for freezes with restored apps or xposed modules...

Q. Will this rom work with Locked and Unlocked bootloaders ?
A. Yes. This rom should work with any bootloaders.
Q:- TWRP and PhilZ freezes and phone reboots when flashing PureX.
A:- If you are on stock 5.0.2 rom, Aroma won't work with 5.0.2. You need to flash this rom over 5.1.1 or kitkat.
Q:- I can't see the icon pack option in the launcher home screen settings
A:- This is because you have picked either Grey/Black option in aroma. The black UI compatibility with V2 launcher will be fixed in v11.5. In the meantime either flash the rom again (and skip black and grey UI) or just install v2 apk from here

I just flashed this rom over kitkat 167 and 5.1.1 546 build two times. Checked and booted successfully. So simply make a backup and try. Let me know..

one quesion you know how to change status size bar.. or put it in dual line because I have issues with this touch zone
