Hi, my device is X98 II Air 3g - version c5j6.
Recently I upgraded the windows version via control panel check update, the skype video in windows using back camera instead of the front.
Android is fine.
I think last time it was ok but I could be wrong or didn't notice it.
Do you have similar issue or just me?
If just me, could you please let me know how to fix this issue?

Hi, I have just got 2 Atmos's for people in the office and would ideally like to put 6.1 on them, but as this does not look like it is possible (yet) I would like to put the HTC home on them as they make the phone much better than the standard O2 home screen.
I have searched in this forum but all i can find are the XML files, does anyone have an installer for the entire thing?

I too have the XDA Atmos (though I'm waiting on a replacement, speaker stopped working). I have been using 'Gregory_HTCHomeN.cab' since day 1 without any problems - works perfectly. It can be downloaded from:

Hmm, that's strange. The weather works perfectly on mine, never once had an issue with it. I'll have a play tonight and see if I can somehow replicate the problem you're having.

I have a vodafone V1615 (Kaiser) that I have had since April which came with windows mobile 6 on it. Recently I noticed that vodafone had put an official update on their website to upgrade to windows mobile 6.1. I downloaded the update from the vodafone site and installed it on my phone and everything is fine apart from a problem in Pocket IE.
When i open IE in portrait mode it works fine but when I switch to landscape mode the menu and favourite options have kind of disappeared in that they display as only a dash ?? Anybody had this problem before and know how to fix it. I have hard reset the phone again and it worked for a short while until it happened again.
Also I keep getting the message "A problem has occurred with device.exe" and I think I had the same message for "iexplorer.exe" are these linked?
Any help greatfully received.
Just after I have upgraded my Windows mobile, my camera stopped working. Actally works but the screen is black and I'm able to shut but without seeing the imsge on the screen. The funny thing is that the camera works normaly when I use the software QuickMark. Had any one found the same problem?

make a phone call see if you can hear anyone or if they can hear you
Have you by any chance installed Nadavi's HTC Camera 5.0.4.2915.00 for KAISER? Many users reported the same problem as you when using that together with WM6.1.
If so, try this solution which seems to work.
no I'm using the original camera (4.08) and Izm able to make calls. What I can't do is video calls. People sees me but I cant see the others.

How have you upgraded your TyTN II and from what? The ROM and Radio in your sig are pretty much from year dot and are the same as I had on my TyTN II when new. After I upgraded to the official HTC WWE 6.1 release and had problems as a result, I had the phone reverted back to WM 6.0 by HTC and they selected the configuration in my sig. It's been that way since.

I have a problem with the Manager Comm :
when I push the button, the program runs(ShagCtrl) but when I push the buttons to activate/deactivate the wireless/bluetooth interface, seems that there is no comunication with the hardware side.
The icon says that the interface is activated but it's not!
On Linux the wifi/BT periferals work perfectly (Thanks again Pof!)
Anyone knows the reason for this problem?

I seem to have the same problem as you. Vista SP1 totaly distroys your connections and I had to reinstall vista. FN+F3+F4 allows you to do this.

Guys, maybe it's SP1 also causing problem but mine WLAN and BT became suddenly unavailable still with no SP1 installed and having all automatic updates OFF. I just hard reset Vista, gone thru all the installations and had WLAN and BT running fine for 2-3 weeks. It simply stopped working one day (recent HTC drivers were not installed anyway).
Afterwards I've installed all hot fixes from automatic updates, all HTC new drivers dated October 2008 but didn't help. MArvell WLAN drivers are installed fine but device cannot start with error code 10 in Device Manager.
Now installing SP1, will see...
One more thing, ShagCtr freezes when I try do enable either WLAN or BT and must be forced shut down.

I've had my Shift for a few weeks now, and have tried a few of the methods described here and in other forums to update from the HTC supplied Windows Vista to Windows 7.
I've consistently hit the problem that Shift Control Center (ShagCtrl.exe) crashes once I upgrade beyond a certain point, no matter which upgrade route I choose. I really want to have ShagCtrl to have control of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB etc. But I also really want to have Windows 7!
I've tried starting with an absolutely standard Vista as supplied by HTC. This is a pretty nice implementation of Vista, (as far as Vista can be nice!) and everything works as expected, with ShagCtrl available and working.
I've also tried taking a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate onto a freshly formatted disk and installing all the drivers and programs as described.
Going the update route, everything (and in particular ShagCtrl) works until I apply the Vista SP1 update. At this point, ShagCtrl crashes with the message "ShagCtrl.exe has stopped responding. Click OK to search for a solution or...".Of course, no solution is offered!
If I go the fresh install of Windows 7 route, something similar happens. As soon as I install ShagCtrl and restart, ShagCtrl crashes in exactly the same way. I've tried running ShagCtrl.exe in Vista compatibility mode – still no go.
From comments here, it seems that some folks have a working Windows 7 with a working Shift Control Center. Can someone please give me a point-by-point description of what they did to achieve this? I really don't want to be stuck with an old version of Vista!

I wonder if you can help me, I have up until now been the user of a HP 614c (running windows mobile 6.5 - used various builds) but recently I have upgraded and got myself a HTC touch pro/ Raphael which I straight away updated to the energy ROM 3.0 (windows 6.5) from the ROM development section, however, for some reason I am finding alot of the games for windows CE that I had working on my HP 614c are not working on the HTC touch pro ..
I find that on starting the game the screen goes blank and sometimes you can hear the music and nothing else?
Is this an issue with compatibilty with the phone, or the rom, is it because of the g sensor? I have no idea ... some of the games work perfectly well but a vast majority of them just blank out which is a shame .
I have looked at all settings and been tinkering for ages and still come to no conclusion, I find it strange as the HTC touch pro has the equivalent specs to the HP 614c but with extra capability ? and the windows 6.5 software I have installed have stemmed from the same pre release builds ??
Any one have any ideas?

I have noticed that there is a clash with the HTC touch flo 3d software tho, but if u take that off the today menu it runs perfectly ... which it didnt do before installign the fix
