Critical GUI Watch Face - LG G Watch R

I just created Critical GUI Watch Face
Mod edit: Link removed
A futuristic animated Watch Face, that allows you to customise all the colors.
You can switch between 3 ambient modes: Eco (default), B&W with data, or Full colored.
Choose to have small/big widget with up to 8 indicators: daily steps, unread emails & messages, heartbeat, weather, etc... and more are coming!
A lot of options are available too: 12/24hr format, small/big digital hour, screen on duration, etc...
Jump to the future!

Looks nice.. So I got it. Where exactly are all of the settings your referring to? I found how to change the color and that's it.

Thank you!
The other settings are in the Settings screen of the Watch Face, in the Android Wear application. You should see a settings logo on the watch face preview. Touch it and it opens.

Looks great man, hows the battery life on it tho?

I think it is honorable, I tried to optimise as possible. Then it depends on the option you use (animation is more heavy on the battery than none for example )

It hasn't been bad for me. I am using the WiFi mod also. Keep trying to attach a pic of my battery stats but it keeps failing. Been off charger since 9 AM its almost 6:30 pm now. Shows I have about 13 hours left.

Vector GUI Watch Face

I am glad to show you my new futuristic animated development:
Vector GUI Watch Face
[Moderator Edit: Paid app link removed]
You will find all the options you like: color customisation, 3 ambient mode choice, screen on duration, define position for the 8 indicators (steps, weather, missed calls, unread emails & messages, etc), 12/24hr format, etc...
It's a great looking watch face, but I can't get the options to stick. I've tried changing it from both the watch and the Android Wear app, but I can't get 12-hour mode, background color or widgets to stick past the default. Thoughts?

Can I ask you your mobile details (model & android build) ?
It looks like a Google Play service cache issue.
You can try to disconnect devices (watch and phone) : remove the watch from Android Wear, and reset the watch.
And then, uninstall the watch face, restart watch and connect device again. then finally install the watch face.
That should solve your problem.
If it still appear, I'll give you a procedure to reset the service cache.

[APP][ROOT] Nexus 6P Double Tap to Wake

Hey Guys,
This is my first post, so please play nice. Not only is this my first post, this is my first published app too! I present to you, Nexus 6P Double Tap to Wake:
Link removed
It a simple app that allows a rooted Nexus 6P to enable double tap to wake functionality, and stays enabled even through reboot. There is the built in functionality which is disabled by default, so this app runs a terminal command to enable it.
Hope you find this app useful and any feedback would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Russell
Works great thank you.
Can you make a free version with ads so we can test it out before buying?
This is probably going to be a stupid question, but I just want to make absolutely sure: does enabling this affect battery life in any way? Would there even be a reason for it to?

Yes it affects battery life, but its somewhere under 0.1%. The display and the touch sensor are not build together on most of the newer phones like the 6p, because of that the touch sensor can stay on while the display is off. Worst case you will get like 2 minutes less screen on time

I've experienced a lot more drain that that, it's a decent enough feature but I've found drain to be excessively more than that.
How is this any different than the free app Knock On?

The app Knock On keeps the screen on all the time even in standby which creates much battery drain. The double tap to wake only keeps on the touch sensor which doesnt really drain battery.
I hate to be the one to tell this (really, not sarcasm), but according to the XDA rules, you can not post a link to a paid app without providing the apk for free in xda:

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong please.
Thanks for your work and for developing the app and good luck in future projects!
Does it work with the N betas?

Bio Snap: Fingerprint Camera

Hello guys, an avid follower of XDA, yet posting for the first time I bring you to a simple app for the 2015 Nexus line, call Bio Snap. What it does is simple. We all know that with your root access, we've got everything. Popular smartphones these days sporting a rear side fingerprint sensor let you snap selfies by just tapping the it. However the 2015's Nexus couple don't seem to sport such a feature out of the box. This app bridges that gap - lets you snap selfies with ease using the Nexus Imprint scanner at the back.
Note that this app
- requires ROOT ACCESS
- has been tested only on the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P
- *works fine and tested only with Google Camera right now*
- support for more camera apps will be brought in soon
Also this app is still under development and I thought of writing a post since many of my buddies wanted such an app. (Originally suggested by my close friend Siddharth)
Credits go to
- Sid a.k.a. Siddharth Menon ([email protected])
- theGeekyLad a.k.a. Rahul Pillai (that's me) ([email protected])
Get it from Google Play
Good app. It works! However when I take a selfie it opens the Bio Snap app. Is there any way to let it stay in the camera app? Also there home screen is very hard to read. I get a white background with white text.
