Find me a major manufacturers website that lists a class 6 32gb microSDHC for sale at any price and I might believe it. Until then, I won't.

Why would you think it's too good to be true? How much do you think a 32gb would go for?

I bought a 32 gb scandisk from ebay for 29.99 and it works on everything EXCEPT my evo don't waste your money trust me

i wouldn't bother. it's most probably a scam. i bought two of them in the past. they are usually 2gb cards that are rebadged to make them look like 32gb cards. if you tried to put anything larger than 2gb, you get the corrupt card message.

Only reputable company to make 32gb micro sdhc now is Sandisk and there card is rated at class 2. So I would seriously doubt anyone else would sell them for $15 dollar unless we are in the stage where cards are 1tb and not gb. Just use common sense and you don't be victim of scams as you only empower them by doing so.
PS: ATM I'm shopping for real 32gb c4 or 16gb c6 so let's see if anyone else is welling to produce 32gb cards.

Well looking at the feed backs, almost all the ones regarding the MicroSD card were something like:
PayPal unclaimed - requested repayment. Could not repay via eBay, so cancelled
So yah, I wouldn't bother
Also, the seller claims it's class 6 which screams fake/scam

My question is WTF is Kingston and PNY with there own 32gb cards. At least competition would lower the price. I heard people were picking up Sandisk 32gb c2 for $50 of Verizon by scheming them as they still sell for $100 which is much lower than anyone else ATM.

BuyDOTcom (noob users can't post links) has a 3C pro 32GB microSD card for like $120. It's a class 4.
Other than that, I haven't seen much competition at all in this area.
I'm content to wait until later this year for more people like RiData and so.

I bought one of these from eBay, not from the same person though. It was a 32Gb Class 4, I got it for about £20.
I works fine in laptop card reader. Put it in my HD2, tried copying a large amount of data, which failed, now I have an 8Mb sd card!!
It may not be the way to go.

Well, many of the fake memory cards use host for storage, to fake the large capacity and fast access time.
So when you used it on your laptop, it actually stored all the data on your hard disk. Cool, you thought: it's all working.
Then you used it on HD2, which was impossible for the dodge hack, so it revealed its true nature.

Just installed the new card and swapped over my files. For smaller files, data transfer doesn't seem very different, but large movies definitely seem to transfer faster.

[Q] Micro SDHC Upgrade

Morning XDA,
Just had a quick question about your opinions on micro SDHC cards.
The 2GB that Sprint gave me is quickly filling up, and so I'm deciding to go up to an 8GB
Any cards (type/model) you recommend and which ones cause any problems?

I'm not too sure about the 8GB cards but I bought a 16GB Class 10 SDHC card from Newegg.com for pretty cheap ($35.99).

It performs great and I haven't had a single problem with it. I also notice that my HD videos that are recorded aren't as choppy.

I have the exact same card and I definitely recommend it. Also did some speed tests on it and its definitely a class 10

Well I'm on a budget (under $20) and looking at just 8GB Class 4 or 6
This is mostly just to upgrade storage space
I appreciate the suggestions though

There was a 16GB Class 10 from Wintec on New Egg for $24 and change. If you're going to spend $20 go a few more. The class makes a difference and you will notice it.

Oh nice. Yeah I've been looking around Newegg but have been basing judgement on reviews. I'll definitely look into that one.
Backups take up most of my space.

I got this 8 gig. class 6 card on Amazon for about 17 bucks (I was able to bundle it with something else to get free shipping). I find it's just fine for holding some music and app files. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0026L7DG0

For you guys who upgraded.....
Are the cards formatted out of the box, and "plug-n-play", or do they require additional steps before being read by the phone? I purchased (against my better judgement) a Sandisk 8GB Class 4 card last week, and the phone didn't even recognize the new card. Currently running CM7, so I though the ROM may be the issue, but I nandroided back to Stock, and the card wasn't recognized on that one either. So I just took it back (the card).
I'd like to upgrade, since yes, the backups do take a substantial amount of space, but I'd rather get a card that I can just plug in and go.

If you're talking about the PNY card, the Best Buy website is showing this as a new item in my local store for $29.99 ($49.99 for 16gb). I'm going to run over there after work and see if they're on sale.

seems to be out of stock right now, but I was scared to try it after the reviews I read. But definitely works good. There's a flashable zip somewhere to change the SD cache or something and it worked out pretty well

I honestly don't like the charger that came with this phone; juts out of the wall to far and I don't like how it's two parts. I'll definitely keep the cable for computer connectivity though.

pretty much any micro USB cable will charge the phone. As for charger, I've been using AC chargers for ipod touch and all of them worked with the phone. From my experience, HTC phones tend to be not very picky when it comes to chargers.

Sandisk has never failed me Transcend has.

No Android users rated it 1/5. The 1/5 were for people who never received their rebate, and Linux users.

64gb micro sd - will it work and which is the best

I am looking to up my memory card to 64gb all data for the note relates to 32gb being compatible will a 64gb card work ?

Been using it in my Note for quite a few months now.

I got my SanDisk 64GB class 6 card from Amazon for £75, it seems the price have raised to £79. You have to format the card to FAT32 to work in the Note, the is a method to get NTFS working as well.
Here is a screen shoot, I swapped my internal and external sd around so I now have the 64GB card as internal storage.

Man i want one bad. 100 usd is not too bad. Soon as best buy has another sale I'm getting one. How did uu swap memory?

I second the 64gb Sandisk from Amazon. I paid $110 a few weeks ago but it's gone up to $139 unfortunately. The one thing I did have to do, because for some reason it kept disconnecting the card from my Win7 machine during a heavy copy, was to have it in the phone rather then a card reader during copying. I'm thinking that's due to the inexpensive card reader, but in case it happens to you, that's how I solved it!

just checked and they are 79 euro with free shipping I believe which is around 110 usd...

Just swapped my 16Gb for the 32Gb

So I bought a 16GB Bionic from Best Buy and had them price match it to the 9.99 that Radio Shack had it for. I was running in to some screen issues and no Best Buy stores had the 16GB in stock.
After calling the only store that had a 32GB in stock and being told they would not swap out the phones I made a call to Best Buy Corporate and they got the store to swap me out to the 32GB at no extra charge.
Im a little disappointed to see that the phone is actually a 16GB with a 16GB SD card tossed in, I was under the impression that it had 32GB internal storage.
Oh well not going to complain to much about getting it for only 10 bucks.

Oh speaking of BestBuy and microSD cards, buyers beware. I went to BB to get a class 10 16gig card for my X2 before it got stolen. The pickings were slim but they did a bunch of class 10 SanDisk cards. Weren't cheap but I was unable to find any other class 10's in my area. Decided to buy it anyway. On the way out of the store my brother says "hey this isn't class 10!" Sure enough on closer inspection the card had a class 4 logo. Went back in to exchange it or get a refund. Brother was able to locate a real class 10 in the same packaging so I exchanged it.
Here's the kicker. The factory packaging clearly stated class 10. The price on the shelf clearly said class 10. Almost every one on the shelf we saw were actually class 4. I don't think BB was to blame as the packaging really looked factory fresh. It could have been a SanDisk mistake. Regardless try not to get bit by similar snafus.

Actually I think it was PNY and not SanDisk.

There is no 32GB DROID Bionic, you either get 8GB internal or 16GB internal, plus whatever microSD card you use.

for some reason I am unable to submit url's. but today amazon is having a deal on memory including micro sd cards. head over to Amazon's deal center under the search bar it says "today's deals". click there. also Lexar has its 128GB micro SD card on sale for $73 from Amazon

I got a Sandisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-1 card with adapter 128GB
It's the fastest 128GB on the market at present, the 64GB has a faster Ultra Extreme as the poster above linked to, though I wanted the extra storage and have had no issues with the 64GB version of this card recording 4K video previously.
The tech reviews I read seemed to universally state the Lexar did not have the same write speed, which will be important for video storage. And there is not a big difference in price.
The 200GB are only just new to Market and are a stupidly high price at present, definitely not worth it yet.
