I don't know, but I too would like to find out. It's a great idea and I have a Dbrand skin coming my way soon. Seems like a great way to get the look of the skin and the protection of the tpu case.
I've seen people put a dbrands on the back of a Spigen ultra hybrid and it looked good.

They're fitting the skins TO the case
I think you didnt understand me. I ment that you apply the skin to the case and not to the phone. Look at the thread in the link to fully understand.

i am also coming from 1+1 with a carbon look skin applied to the diztronic case...
i am going to buy a diztronic for nexus 6 too and would order a skin if it fits the back of the cover like on my oneplus.

I'm looking for recommendations on soft/rubbery cases with a minimal build. I found a few online but no reviews yet and I really need a case with a good grip. Hard, poly carbonate cases were too slick for me and didn't feel good in the hand. I had a good rubber case for my G2 a couple years back but I can't remember the brand. Thanks in advance.
*edit: Wouldn't mind a gel case either if on par with a rubbery case's grip.

Spigen has some nice TPU cases, if that's what you're asking for. They SAY that it doesn't fit leather backs, but some on the forums here have tried those cases and it seems to be fine.

Just received this one from Amazon today. It's pretty good, but it would be better with a black TPU instead of clear TPU. The clear TPU means you can see the actual buttons on the phone under the metal buttons of the case. It looks really weird and clumsy.
Other than that, it's a pretty solid case. I really wanted a Neo Hybrid EX, but Spigen told me they weren't making one.

Thank your sharing. It's not a good price for a phone case, but it looks high quality and protective. I'll give a shot only if it gets good reviews.
I am currently attracted by phone cases made by the company call Design Skin. You can search it on Amazon. They have really nice cases. I saw lots of thin cases with great protection functions. Hope this helped~!

Wow that looks great. I'm probably going to go for this as well. I use a spigen case for my Nexus 5. I dropped my N5 countless times and it is still as good as new. Very happy with their product.

Ringke Fusion cases are some of the best cases I have ever owned. super thin, extremely light, good grip.. lives through drops like its nobodies business, and the port covers are a nice added bonus. I also love how they change the feel of the power/side buttons to give a more tactile feel. it was extremely helpful for me with my N6 2014. Honestly, these cases legitimately have an effect on what phone I buy now. Like one of the reasons I don't want the blu XL or Axon pro is purely because reearth hasn't made any cases for those phones. I'm glad to see there is already one for the 5X.
But can we find more cases of another phones on same website ?

+1. Love Diztronic and Cruzerlite TPU cases.
Perhaps its foolish to order four weeks ahead of the 5x delivery date... but the whole thing's been an impulse buy, so I ordered this one last night:

Hmmm... meh, I'll probably look for something a bit more discrete. I have the Spigen slim armour, or whatever it is called for my Nexus 5.
I just wanted to know who was thinking of just going bare bones naked on this bad boy, or if it will be in need of a case?

For me it depends on how slippery the phone is. I've had a couple of phones that you just couldn't hold on to without a case.

Just bought the smoke black Ringke Fusion for my N5X Carbon. Hope it is decent and matches it well.
My N4's bumper has saved it a few times, but I'll see how this feels in the hand without, though.
I like a black leather skin and a PET screen protector. Hoping Slickwraps steps up to the plate for the skin. I usually carry mine in a pouch case (PDAir) on my belt.

Spigen Neo Hybrid and Rugged Armor cases, I'm constantly switching between the two from week to week. I think I like the Neo Hybrid a bit better, it seems that the plastic bumper 'ring' would give a bit more protection than just the Rugged Armor case alone, I think the cases are otherwise about the same in terms of material.
i bought the Poetic Affinity case Clear/Clear, so the phone has protection and show off the gold and beauty of the phone at the same time. it looks great, i don't have a picture of my phone by there are some on Amazon.

I bought that one too from china.. I already have the black and red one... pretty nice cases. Very good Quality and feels really really good
I'm using the Clear/Black Poetic Affinity Case which I got from Amazon UK. Fits very well and has excellent grip at the sides. Looks good as well.
