try kernel adiutor

I am wondering as well because here in my country the dual variant is much cheaper than the single sim variant. When I asked the store they said the dual version came first before the single sim variant thus the price difference

International vs T-Mobile

I am looking to buy another Note 4 and was wondering what the pros and cons of each where. Also will the international work on T-mobile without issue? I tried searching for the answers before I made this post (I may just do a poor job searching) and only found speculation post before the phones were released. I know with my T-Mobile Note 4 it seems it overheats from time to time if I am downloading a torrent and I found an article about Samsung dropping the 810 because of "overheating fears".
Thanks for any advice or information in advance.
910U taiwan is awesome. no issues.
Im on the tmober and am actually overclocked to the max.. zero problems...
Using n910c on tmobile works fine had n910p on sprint that model had overheating problems

Buy the T-Mobile variant if you live in the states and use T-Mobile or any of its affiliate MNVO's.
Buy the T-Mobile variant if you live in the states and want the warranty via T-Mobile / Samsung.
Buy the T-Mobile variant if you live in the states or live abroad and want true GSM bands and or want to root.
Don't Buy the T-Mobile variant if you're concerned with overheating (Common byproduct of Snapdragon SoC's)
Buy the SM-910C instead, and be aware, of its CAT4 LTE Modem, Lack of Warranty (if buying and living in the States), and Exynos Chipset (Some say performs a tad bit better), but lesser ROM Development; still caries most of the bands the T-Mobile Snapdragon variant and is GSM-ready.
Get Tmo, it has an insane amount of dev going on for it.
Excatly! :good:

Different models?

I'm buying a new S5 mini.. and I noticed that it's G800F but there're other models like SM-G800R4..
Are they different? Will I be able to upgrade every S5 mini to the last Android version available for it, that is 5.1.1?
samsung says that they will update the s5 mini, so i think that they are going to update to lollipop evry model (F-H-R4-etc..) but , if you want an advice, there are a lot of other android phone that costs the same and have more support for update and modding..an example can be motorola, meizu is also good.
anyway that's my opinion... good luck
sorry for bad english, still learning
Yes they are different. Unfortunalety for the S5 Mini there are a lot of variants. Different CPU and so on.

Is the G800F good or not? what's the main differences than the others?
I'm evaluating to buy it in an Italian shop..
IMHO there're not differences between the models.. they only refer to different World regions:
SM-G800F for Europe
SM-G800A for AT&T
SM-G800HQ for Turkey
SM-G800H for USA
SM-G800M - for LATAM
SM-G800R4 - US Cellular
SM-G800Y - New Zealand

Thank you very much, waiting for your new info..
I'm interested in SM-G800F (Europe) because I have to order it and want to know if it's "less" than the others in some feature..
See this thread for details:

Mine is an SM-G800Н - no LTE, no NFC. TWO sim-cards, Bought in Europe.
Keliuss
I know that Y/M/F versions have an exynos 3470 processor, the rest have a Snapdragon 400 processor, update has started for R4 version and I just read a comment that H version in Russia has started being updated. So, its just a matter of time for when our versions start getting updated.

Galaxy note 5 dual sim: N9200 or N9208

Hi,
I have been thru many sites (and Samsung one), but I can't really see the difference between these 2 models.
They are both dual sim and comes either with 32 or 64 gb memory.
Can someone summerize the main differences ?
Thanks
Nothing except one is single and the other is dual sim.

Well, first I though that only the N9208 was dual sim, but a e-store advertize the N9200 also as dual sim.
look there: http://www.eglobalcentral.fr/samsung-galaxy-note-5-n9200-4g-lte-64go-dual-sim-desimlocke-or-fr.html
Confusing no ?

N9200 is for China market and N9208 is for Hong Kong, that suppose to be the only difference. Both are dual sim (or N9200 has single sim option also, but I know that it has dual for sure).

OK this is clear and I presume both can be used in France ?
Thanks for this clarification.

The 9208 im sure can be used in France. 9208 was released in the Philippines which uses the same GSM bands as Europe. Im not sure about 9200. China might have a special band like Japan or the US
If I look at the specifications on eglobal site, all frequencies used in France are available on the N9200. I was more concerned about the possibility of using french language (and the predictibility writen).
I have used the N9200 (dual SIM, Hong Kong variant, network-unlocked) in UK/India/Qatar with respective local carriers and with no major issues.
When you say "no major issues" that means you got minor ones? Which functions were affected ?
Do you get the regular updates on the firmware ?
Thanks for mentioning.
I got the N9200 Hong Kong version. And using it ever since in Belgium. No problems at all.

Go for Sm N9208 as in china market play store is banned. So you might fell trouble in installing play store in N9200.

Someone has quoted that the N9200 which is for China market does not have the "Play store" program. How do you manage that ?
Did you install it later on and are you facing any problem with it ?

The N9200 (TGY; Honk Kong variant) came with Google PlayStore pre-installed so I had no such problems.
I guess you can always install G-Apps (including PlayStore) on the Chinese N9200 once rooted.
The reason why I look at the N9200 / N9208 64 gb is to avoid a root. I did rooted 2 x GN3 (mainly for avoiding the SD card restrictions) and it's a little bit hasardous. Also we don't get the firmware updates and we loose the warranty.

I experienced really bad battery on 9208, some generic software related bug (android system was draining battery, no deep sleep), so I was forced to do root, and with custom kernel everything was ok with battery. One friend had the same issue and rooting solved the problem. Have that in mind also, but maybe other people here haven't had any battery drain issues, but worth mentioning.

I have the N9208 and have had no any kind of battery issues till now (6.0.1) where it just seems to last as long as when I was still on 5.1.1. that's even using a Package Disabler and Greenify (for hibernating). in other words, seems to be firmware than hardware. I am using this in the US.

Dear All,
I'm not sure where can I post.
Is there any MM v6 custom rom for N9208 dual sims?
If yes, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

which variant to buy?

I'm considering buying the note 8 but in terms of community support which version (if any) is better supported or is it to early to tell?
My last phone was the S5 - SM G900i and while it was good most roms were generally made for the f variant. the f variant roms worked ok but always caused issues with nfc which i could work around generally by disabling nfc. I'd like to avoid that situation this time around and I plan on keeping this phone for a few years.

Exynos single sim in general gets the most... but can you disclose where do you live? As that would be major factor.... if Europe then UK unlocked model brings theglory in general...aka exynos single sim.
The 950F and 950N are identical hardware, but all the ROMs are being developed with the F firmware base, which seems to be set up as dual SIM at the software level (F contains the dual SIM RIL libraries while the N does not).
Right now the only real consideration between those two is internal storage since I think the 256gb model is only available as N variant.
The HK 256gb is Snapdragon.

I live in New Zealand. The most common variants ive seen are the sm-g9500, sm-g950f and the sm-g950fd. There are also some usa sm-g950u available through eBay.
Of these the fd variant is the cheapest and fairly easy to import. Local version seem to the f and 9500 but the local versions are generally about $400 more expensive.
I am not to worried about importing and the warranty issues. I've never had hardware issues with Samsung phones and even if I did I'd get it repaired locally and it would still be cheaper.
For the US versions, does the unlocked version and carrier versions all have the same amount of support for bands as I heard the hardware was all the same and it's just the software that is different on the carrier variants. Basically, if one uses Verizon Wireless, can one purchase the T-Mobile or the unlocked model or even the Verizon Wireless model of the Note8 and have the same bands enabled on the phone so it works well when traveling using a pre-paid SIM or is the unlocked model going to offer more band support as it seems Samsung doesn't list the actual band support on the models.

What's the difference between Single and Dual Sim ?

Hello All
I just bought S10 Australian Version G973F online from dubai (exynos)
I thought it will be Dual sim but actually it's Single sim
So is there any difference between the dual and single sim in terms of hardware ? Cuz here in my country only Dual sim is available so if there's a difference in hardware i will be in trouble cuz I won't be able to fix it if something went wrong.
I went to Samsung office here and they can't decide they told me different opinions so i hope anyone can help me.
Have a nice day all
