Reflashing back to Stock - Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I don't know if its already been made for Sony Xperia Z1, Currently on CM12.1 and cannot flash back to Stock main reason is for some reason my USB isn't reading the USB Debugging on CM12.1 ADB Debugging.
I was wondering if anyone can help Windows is giving me the Cannot recognize device problem. I uninstalled all of the Usb drivers and reinstalled them still having same issues. I was wondering if there is a need to modify the .ini file for ADB.
If anyone can answer me that would be great.
P.S I'm still new to this sorry for my noobness
PSS I was an idiot it works fine.... Solved

ADB not working on one phone but not the other...

I have two G1's both running CyanogenMod 4.2.2 I recently configured adb use on my Windows computer but I'm having a strange problem.
On my primary G1 adb works fine and I can access it no problem
however on the second one I can never access it. When I try to do any adb commands the rest is a device not found error
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this problem on just the one device?
(I apologize if there is an old thread related to this, I couldn't find anything)
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Go into Settings->Applications->Development and see if you have USB debugging enabled. Toggle it off and back on.
Good luck
I tried that already but it didn't make any difference :\
You probably have different SPL's on them. If you have SPL 1.33.2005 on the one that's not working, then you need the updated driver.

Or vice-versa
how would I change the driver for that specific device?
Right click on it in the device manager and choose update driver...
It says that the driver is already up to date

[Q] USB Device Malfunctioned on Rooted phone

Hello everyone. I'm having a problem I'm REALLY hopeing someone can help me with. I've started having some problems with my phone recently and one of them is getting a "USB Device Malfunctioned" when connecting to a PC. I've tried it on 3 PCs, so I'm pretty sure it's not a PC driver issue.
I'd simply try to get it replaced, except that I've rooted the phone and am afraid of having a warranty issue. The phone is otherwise stock 2.2 - no custom rom.
I'm hoping that someone can either help me resolve my USB issue, or point me to a way to unroot without having to connect to the computer. I'd also be open to a custom rom if it would fix my issues (I'm also having a problem where the touch screen goes unresonsive).
Is did find this thread, but I'm not understanding what all the steps mean: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1009658
I'm starting to panic....any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
One FACTORY RESET .
jje
Sorry, should have mentioned that I already did that this weekend in an attempt to fix the touchscreen issues. This was before I even knew I had the USB issue.
At least I did the "factory data reset" in settings. I didn't do the power - volume key method, but from what I could tell it did the same thing.
Try flash this script own your recovery...
Safe
i just change the wrong and not match script usb mounting

If it works just thank me

[Q] HTC One Driver Problems

Basically, I have posted this exact same problem here months ago, but with not a lot of help. I came here to get help and I intend of leaving with a bit of some. Basically, I rooted my HTC One, turned S-On, and finally installed Cyanogen Mod. Everything was working for the most part. I remember being able to attach my phone to my PC and being able to transfer files over to my phone. Recently that has been working out so well. I try to transfer files from my PC to my phone, such as music/videos/etc, but my phone doesn't show up. I can go to device manager and see my HTC One under other devices with the caution triangle, so basically my device is read to be connected to my PC but is lacking the drivers to use it. Like I said before, I have posted this problem on other forums before, and I have been sent the link to the drivers. I've installed HTC drivers, USB drivers, HTC One Sync, and so much more, but none of that has worked. All that happens is that my phone will connect to my PC, charge, be noticed by the PC but is completely unusable from PC to phone. On the phones side, it's 100% okay. No problems other than the simple nightly bugs, but I know it's the ROM version I am using. I reverted to the last known stable Cyanogen Mod, and the one previous to that. That hasn't fixed the problem as well. I'm running out of idea's and I'm just looking for some help. If you can help, rather then posting a link for drivers and thinking I'm retarded, please do so. I will appreciate it to the fullest. As for that, that is all I have to say. Please help, and all help is appreciated.

Ok,
I think the best thing we can to in this case is the classic troubleshooting.
Try different USB Cables, slots on your PC, DON'T connect it to a USB HUB (I think you already know that.. I just mentioned it to ensure that)
Make a backup and flash the stock Sense ROM
If you can get a connection to your PC .. Cyanogen causes this issue
That was to determine wheter it's your phone or your computer that causes this issue. Pretty basic.
Uninstall your drivers from the device manager interface
Uninstall everything that is related to your HTC One(HTCSync, maybe Kies or other programs like this, Every driver)
Now, make a registry clean to reinstall everything on a clean way
Use Wise Registry Cleaner
Proceed a computer reboot
Now, download the latest version of HTC Sync
Install it with every driver component.
Then uninstall HTC Sync WITHOUT the drivers
Plug in your phone and wait until other drivers are installed
If that's done, try if the connection works

[Q] Can anyone point me to the right adb drivers?

I know this is a real noob question but I need help getting the right drivers installed for adb to recognize the GWR. Ive installed and uninstalled a variety of drivers and none of them worked (phone would not display the prompt), but now I'm suspecting the build of lollipop on my note 3 was to blame. So I downgraded to stock kitkat and I'm trying again but I want to be sure I have the right drivers.

Note 5 (N920I) USB/OTG Issue [No computer will recognise the device]

Ok ladies and gents,
I've been on a mission to root my Note 5 N920I for months now.
My problem is no computer will read/recognise the device. The Mac's seem to not even recognise it's plugged in, with Windows, no matter which driver I install it keeps telling me the "device descriptor failed blah blah blah". I managed to root my S4 very easily on Mac with Jodin3 so I know that it ain't no user error.
I've Googled and Googled ways to root without a computer or installing a custom recovery without root, but from what I understand I can't flash TWRP as recovery without a computer and therefore cannot root without a custom recovery.
I've Googled ways to fix the USB issue by making the xml file and putting it into the correct folder, but for that I need to be rooted. Right?
When she's plugged into a computer with USB debugging on or off nothing comes up in my notifications except for charging. I tried using the toolbox which I found on here (sorry can't remember the name) though it seemed like I was getting close, I couldn't get close enough before my temper got the better off me.
If my memory serves me correctly the OTG function worked when i first got the phone but didn't after the first update. My mate's Note 5 also has the same issue. I Googled it and seemed it was common issue on these phones.
I've tried to learn some Terminal/Command Prompt to see if I can fix it that way through Debian or whatever, only got as far as understanding it, kind of. Big ups to all you coders/programmers out there it really is an artform.
So PLZ PLZ can y'all help me, there has to be a way aside from setting this thing alight and getting a new phone.
My next mission, which I only embarked on a couple nights ago is unbricking my dad's Note 4 (N910G) that just hit the **** one day after spazzing out for a few days then would not turn on. I'm getting close though I haven't put much effort into that yet.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. ?

1)First of all have you enabled usb debugging and oem unlocking options enabled from developers options?
2)Install latest usb drivers for your model no on pc, use original usb cable to connect your phone
3) Try different usb hub-ports on your pc, it is recommended to use main-usb port to connect device properly which is mostly located backside of cpu cabinet
4)Does odin recognises ur device? If yes then you can flash twrp and cf autoroot both ( Sometimes Kies or smartswtich like programmes enforces device not be reognised, so uninstall them before trying to connect and flashing thorugh odin)
5)Try to update device drivers manually from Pc's administration
6) Try to connect your phone on another pc running windows and see if it recognises your device or not
I've tried all of that, i have a 09 Macbook Pro hand me down running Yosemite with Windows 8.1 Pro n just put Ubuntu on her today through Parallels. None of which recognise the phone being there.
I've plugged it into 2 HP PC's and both just keep telling "device descriptor failed". They're both kinda old too.
Unless someone has a specific driver they've made or found or could make me?? Clearly I'm a noob.
Closest I've found is https://github.com/452/USBHIDTerminal/wiki/How-to-enable-USB-host-API-support but still need root or system mounted as rw.
Any other ideas? Any ADB codes anyone could help me with ?
