[Q] Best controller? - G4 Accessories

Hey guys I'm on the verge of buying a LG G4 (ordered yesterday) and I was wondering what controller works best with this device. I have been looking mainly at moga controllers and I am torn between the pro and pro power models. I have read some reviews and watched videos and it seems to me that the pro power is a minor upgrade from the pro (only quick charge and battery indicator added) and the pro is lighter and has this grip texture. Does anyone own both controllers? If yes would you say it is worth getting the pro power over the pro? Also I understand that lollipop broke compatibility with most games (see reviews on amazon). This is for the pro and hero power models but oddly I haven't seen anything similar for the pro (still on amazon). There are also many recent negative reviews for the moga pivot app on the play store regarding the fact that it's almost now impossible to connect the newer controllers via the pivot app and the devs falling to provide a proper fix. Can anyone confirm any of the above?
Thanks

I just recently got the Pro Power. I saw it as a better option since it can charge your phone while you play. I've dedicated my old G3 for gaming and haven't used it on my G4 yet. Had problem using the controller on the PSP emulator I was playing on.

P20 pro vs Xperia XZ2 vs Razer Phone

Anyone have experience for comparison with these phones?
I've got an offer of $750 for my p20 pro right now. I can get a razer phone for $450 or $540 for an XZ2
Worth switching?
Why would u wanna do that ???
I seriously considered the XZ2 Premium.. but it didn't have the I/R blaster so I can control the televisions. And it doesn't hook up via HDMI to the monitor, Sony deliberately limited that feature.
My phone is hooked up to the monitor and I'm using it like a desktop right now. My actual desktop has been off for two weeks, I have no use for it anymore. It's incredible, the EMUI 8.1 is awesome!
I don't know much about Razer, but the camera isn't that great from what I've read.

How are you hooking it up to a monitor?
I also didn't realize the phone had an IR blaster. That is enough to make me stick with it until the LG V40 comes out(depending on the camera it has)

This is what I use to hook up to the monitor... https://www.amazon.com/USB-Adapter-Tuwejia-HDMI-Projection/dp/B077X991V7
It is incredible, I love it so much. I did the same with the LG V20 but it simply mirrored the screen over. The P20 Pro is like a desktop.. no bulky fonts. I am in love already.
I had the LG V20 before the P20 Pro.. and it had the I/R blaster. The V30 didn't have it anymore so I didn't look forward to the V40 which more likely doesn't have it either.

Does it support 4k output or is it limited to 1080p?
Unfortunately, it is limited at 1080p (1920 x 1080) and I have a Samsung 4K monitor. The LG V20 went up to 2K (2560 x 1440). However, the V20 didn't recharge, almost always losing charge, with the adapter while the P20 Pro recharges quickly! I watched it go from 96% to 100% within 10 minutes despite heavy use.

The P20 Pro is undoubtedly the best of the three phones. Ignore the other two phones. I have had Sony devices too.

Huawei p30 pro vs oneplus 7 pro

Hi guys! I'm own a p30 pro 256gb Aurora for 3 weeks and after I saw oneplus 7 pro I have some thoughts to switch..
What u think? Is it worth or not?
What your opinion?
Thank you.
P30 Pro 256gb Aurora Power
Depends on what you want from a phone.
I wouldn't consider a swap myself, but this article details some of the major differences between them:
https://www.stuff.tv/features/oneplus-7-pro-vs-huawei-p30-pro-which-best
What is it you like about the 7 Pro that differs from P30 Pro? I don't see any benefits myself...
I saw a couple video reviews of the 7 pro and the audio quality seems really bad which puts me off. But then again the oneplus will have better root/rom support and has a better screen. I would miss the ultra fast charging of the P30 pro too much to make the switch.. But its preference really.
Does p30 pro supports hdr10+?

I'd hang fire a bit, P30 is awesome but seems like huawei released it 'unfinished'. I think it's true potential will only come to light after a few more updates. I hope so anyway, this was hella lotta cash to have some faulty stuff with it out the box; cartoon wobble issue from front facing cam, red tinge issue, shocking 4k stutter during video panning. Main things for me. However, have taken some of the best pics so far on a smartphone (tried most current flagships), 1080p is good enough and things are improving update by update. I also feel of all the gesture implementations (pixel 3,oplus etc.) huawei nailed it. Hopefully there will be further improvements, enough for me hold on a while yet. If your a root and rom lover op7 gonna tempt you over, won't be long before gcam gives it a boost too. Personally need a phone to work as intended, too much time wasted flashing and putting phone in a less capable state for the sake of some 'enhancement', 'feature'. But yeah, tempted as you maybe, definitely wait a bit, be hard to forgo this camera tech. Have a look into the USB method to get you up to. 153 already. Phone is super smooth after this. Await more cam improvements though. :good:
hi
any new opinions on this topic, I just broke my Honor View 10 and need to replace the phone, P30 pro or OP 7Pro have similar prices (used ones)
P30 pro have better battery life and camera (maybe), but OP 7Pro will have longer support but P30 is getting v2 because of all USA bullcrap and bans ( not sure what that can mean for older P30 and their updates)
P30 Pro is cheaper (used and can find one with 6GB instead of 8GB more expensive variant)
any suggesstions what to get?

Gamepad compatible with Fortnite Android?

Hi to all. Just upgraded to Mi Note 10 from old Mi4.
I downloaded Fortnite but it's real hard to use with touch. I'm searching about a compatible controller but i''m a bit confused.
I have a Nintendo Switch too.. so i'm searching a solution that work in both scenario.
After too many test these are results:
- i connected Nintendo Joy-Con using Mi note 10 Bluetooth. Both devices pair without any problem. However.. no response in the game. Randomly something happen clicking all button. Unusable.
- i bought a Maegoo Controller on Amazon. It work OK with Nintendo Switch but with Mi Note 10 i can only pair but ...again ... no response. Downloaded some Gamepad test app on playstore... nothing to do.
- Found on the web some info about Nintendo PRO Controller. It seems that supported from Android 10. I want to know if anyone have tested it with Mi note 10. However i read that Android10 just now released so... if really support Controller PRO... would be a perfect solution for me.
At the end... Epic FAQ says:
Yes. On Android, we support most Bluetooth controller adapters, such as:
Steelseries Stratus XL
Gamevice
Sony DualShock 4 Wireless Controller (Android OS 10 or newer)
Xbox Wireless Controller
Razer Raiju Mobile
Razer Junglecat
Moto Gamepad
These are expensive gamepad... and not seems to work with my Nintendo switch

Gamepad for Note 20 Ultra

Hello, could you recommend a gamedpad for the Note 20 ultra?
I'm going green on this issue, I've seen that Samsung released the Dragon slay titan glap some time ago, how's that going?
Do you recommend another?
Thanks
I recommend the Razer Kishi, it fits snuggly, USB C connection do lag input lag to speak of, and it feels comfortable and solid while holding it.

Accessories S Pen v S Pen Pro -- Your Exeriences?

Does anyone use the S Pen Pro with their Tab S8 Series tablet?
I'm using a Tab S8 Plus.
I'd like to understand what about the S Pen Pro is worth an additional $80 over the S Pen that comes for "free" in the box with the tablet.
I'm not a heavy S Pen user; I use it mostly as a stylus for navigating apps and playing games. What are the advantages for the Pro version? Is it worth $80?
Thanks,
Joe
Samsung S Pen Pro vs S Pen: Which stylus should you buy?
Samsung has launced two new version of its stylus - The S Pen (Fold Edition) and S Pen Pro. We tell you which one you should get and why.

Thanks, I have seen this article. I was hoping to hear about "real life experiences" / actual use.
One thing I'd really like to do is be able to use the S Pen button like a mouse button -- specifically to page forward in Moon Plus Reader. I haven't figured a way to do that with the standard S Pen. Might it be possible with the Pro?
I've also seen people mention that the Pro feels better in the hand because of its greater size and weight. But they were usually in comparison to S Pens on stylus-enabled phones. Is it true compared to the Tab S8 series pens?
Any other true-life experiences using the Pro?
Thanks,
Joe

They are the same but different sizes , and the Spen pro can automatically switch between different devices + it has a mode to work on Galaxy fold , So if you don't have a galaxy Fold , just stay with your Galaxy tab Pen ,nothing really different
