can we extend partition to 1.2gb with the flashable zip available on xda?
any demerits of increasing the partition size?

Can this done if I use twrp?how to partition system1 and system2 if I use twrp this not have dual boot?

this rom is already rooted?
or flash again supersu?

Yes you can do it but not necessary for this rom.
With extended system1 you'll lose ability to dual boot (dual boot not recommended by the way), and normally you lose ability to use MiFlash to clean flash MIUI on your phone if something went wrong.

Yes you can flash this rom using TWRP. With stock partition layout go to download "stock".No TWRP is not supporting dualboot, it only detects system1.
By the way I don't understand what you mean by "how to partition system1 and system2. Do you mean format them or resize them?

Yes this rom include root, you won't need to flash supersu.zip. In order to enable root in /settings/about this phone fast press multiple time build number.
That'll enable devloper options, in devloper options (settings) enable root access.

I got this error when i flash extended version using twrp.i already extend my partition using in the post method...pls i need this solution

Stock is made for flashing on stock system partition layout (system1 and system2 both ~640Mb)
Extended is made for flashing on resized partition system : system1 = 1.2Gb and system2 = 5Mb
Edit : @jaliee85 sorry but I don't know from where it may come.
If you made manual repartition just try to flash CWM and flash repartition script made by audahadi (second or third thread page about repartitioning)

and i tried to change the binary script and still the same.
anyone of here face this problem before?

My device made manual repartition to system1 = 1.0Gb and system2 = 1.0Gb. Is OK?

i had the exact same error.
i solve it by install CWM and resize both my partitions (system1, system2) back to default size and then install the stock rom instead of extended.

Cant restore from titanium.

diable stock partitions and make extended partition of 1.2GB.

heating issue
Battery drain and heating issue.
Why mi band operates differently when unlocking miui or non miui ROM ?
Previously on mi3 when i was using miui phone could only be unlocked if band was in approximately 1 metre radius but now phone unlocks from 7-8 metres too(normal Bluetooth range)
I used to boast my friends by handing then my mi3 and ask then to unlock and when they encountered Patten lock, I would approach the phone and the moment i grabbed it, it got unlocked.
But note this doesn't happens
Apart from this boasting, it is really very unsafe and USELESS smart lock it it has this much big operating radius.

it will be too much to ask for OTA updates, we have bigger issues to solve first like camera, ambient display etc.

Error installing ROMs
Hi all,
I got error blkdiscard failed invalid argument while flashing [ROM][5.1.1][BLISSPOP][OFFICIAL][CANCRO]
Many said that I had to extend partition to 1.2GB, which I already did.
Here is what I have did before
-[ROM][5.1.1][CANCRO UNOFFICIAL] Resurrection Remix LP
-script extend partition
-flash TWRP
all step above failed to install[ROM][5.1.1][BLISSPOP][OFFICIAL][CANCRO] and also
[ROM][5.1.1][UNOFFICIAL] GZR Validus ROM V8.0 [R2,2015-06-09]

i got this tips "Unable to open log device 'main'" , is this a bug?

when will the new build come without sod ?
or if i install the current build and dont use ambient display will it solve the sod issue?

Problem is because of partition
Hey guys you just need to flash extended partition script or modify partition through adb... You can find it in XDA forum...

Hi, I had the 2.2 version installed, I installed other ROM and when I try to flash the new Blisspop 3.5v with CMW in my Mi 4, I have an error (Status 7) or (Status 6). I tried to change the boot.img for other one than works, but it does not flash... Anyone knows why this happens?

Have you repartitioned it to 1.2 GB it wont install on stock partition. If you dont know how to repartition search on miui forum there zip files are provided

Using this rom from 2 days, highly customizable, stable rom, slightly sluggish as compared to ivans but in day to day use u wont even notice. Can be used as daily driver if you dont bother about following issues
Few concerns need to be adressed-
1. Battery drain is faster than other roms. was expected as it is CM based rom and I have made lot of customizations but hey, more the merrier....
2. Camera app- Must needed as not a single app works
3. Mobile network issue- Reboot results in no network or no sim card error- workaround is mentioned in other posts- Airplane mode-ON, reboot, turn airplane mode OFF. Not sure if during sleep the phone results in not reachable to the caller.
4. Not sure about X-posed framework- can anyone update if this rom supports Xposed and Xmod games
5. Quick setting panel/notification panel dropdown is must on lockscreen and with torch support (I guess if you fix camera, torch will also work)
Thankfully no SOD or call bug in latest release of 24th June
Will wait for another 3-4 days if no update to above issues will shift to omni or CM12.1 temasek

I have just tried to install your ROM on my cancro device. I followed all the steps.
However, everytime I try to flash the ZIP through TWRP, I get a message in red, saying that there wasn and error executing install script in BlissPop-v3.6-cancro-OFFICIAL-20150708-1540
And the flash fails. What am I doing wrong ?

Miui v7 m7spr

I have took and ported miui 7 for htc one sprint varient from the m8 ,but having bootloop issues I know its the boot.IMG but not sure what it can be. If anyone know how to fix please reply so I can post the ROM up

Logcat from recovery or from adb, everything installs through recovery , I used the miui v7 for m8 and used miui v5 for m7spr for base

Used stock kernel I think , which ever one is in the m7spr 5.6.5 version, and will have a logcat by tonight

How can I do that

ok re did everything , also edited the boot.img according to the port guide

This came up during flash in recovery ,looks like somewhere in the system something is wrong ,is it with the carrier settings since its coming from a gsm m8 rom

Looks like there are some issues with your updater-script..Re-check your updater-script with the one I uploaded on my thread. Also according to your log, there are some issues with wake lock releasing and dex-opting miui framework files due to damaged classes.dex..Look into that too..Re-modify your boot.img.

Not really sure how to check those ,and the updater-script I had checked but I am using a gsm to cdma type port, I will be uploading the Rom later tonight maybe you could take a look at it

You'd be way better off starting from scratch and actually compiling for Sprint M7 using the Miui Patchrom repository.
Trying to port this over from the M8 will be an endless battle of issues if it ever even works at all.
Not trying to sound harsh at all, just hate to see anyone waste time on something like this.
There are also other GSM M7 Miui builds you could try and port from, if Patchrom is out of your scope, rather then using an M8 base.
Second one listed on this page is Miui v7 despite being labeled as v6.

Brick? Unbrick? HELP!

Hi.
I unbricked my 3T with the MSMDownload tool.
After that, I booted into system, enabled oem unlock and went to fastboot to unlock my bootloader again.
Then I installed bluesparks twrp.. only 8.52 is working, 8.54 doesn't boot.
Then i tried decrypting storage.. which doesn't work from twrp to to f2fs errors..?
The I did fastboot format userdata and got access.
No I want to flash ANY rom.. omni, nitrogen, etc - but it's ALWAYS stuck at "Patching system unconditionally" FOREVER.
What am I doing wrong? Is my phone not able to flash any custom rom anymore after the unbrick?

Edit: which I just realised you already know. Focus on getting that to boot instead.

definitely not. downloaded several ones.. no go.

You may have corrupt partitioning. DId you try flashing the recovery .img file via ADB and via Blu_Spark v8.52?
If none of them work, try the MSM tool again, and clean your device down to the last byte. Also try AkhilNarang's modified TWRP, which is an alternative to Blu_Spark's TWRP for Oreo installations.
Good luck and update us with the results.
P.S. : When giving logs, upload the logs in a notepad file to avoid thread lengthening.

Firmware perhaps?
