how root the lg g4 h811 - T-Mobile LG G4

hi, how can i root the lg g4 h811 tmobile??
thanks

So far none. Devs are hard at work making the process they used more stable. Patience is the answer for now.
If you would liked to be updated. Pm me and I'll update you when I find stuff out.

Devs already have root. They just refuse to release an "At Your Own Risk" method, forgetting many of us know the dangers of bricking.

Easy. Jcase (i beleive that's his name) got root in his AT&T LG g4. He bricked the first one and the second was rooted. He stated he will NOT release the root until it is safer and more stable.
If you read on some of the forums there is a video link. It is also on YouTube.

That's not news - I was referring to the H811 which I don't believe has been successfully rooted yet. Just my opinion, but I've yet to see any evidence to the contrary.

I beleive that once a major U.S. carrier g4 is rooted then the rest of the US carries will be able to work as well. The model number of the g4 is just to what carrier it belongs to. There is nothing different about the boot loader or any thing else. Since the Euro version has been rooted I believe that they had a different boot loader and TWRP (may have spelt that wrong.) that is was easily exploited. To some of us waiting for this root that one difficult root is a slimmer of hope of obtaining root soon.

Again. G4 does not mean the T-Mobile variant. I have NOT seen ANY reference to root for it. Nobody hopes there is one more than I, but as for evidence, there is none.

I'll give 70% credibility to those words. (still he hasn't demoed another variant like h811) because he doesn't have one maybe.
He knows what he's doing after all. He's a veteran when rooting it's about.

I very much doubt there will be any custom ROMs available for this device just now..... but there are active members in this forum who are going to be porting CM7 and Paul @ Modaco also is going to dev for this phone.

Hey @qbking77, Could you put in your OP which method you used please? Moto or CF's Autoroot?
Thanks!
:edit: I need to add why I'm asking - We have had a report of Motochopper not letting an app that needs root function properly where CF's Autoroot does. Being that it's early in the game, people may want to know this. I understand that CF has a disclaimer using the autoroot method but it's still a viable solution with the numbers coming in on successful. I do not believe we have had a failed attempt on Sprint devices. (Please correct me if I'm wrong)

Any know how on how to use for a Mac?
Thanks
Thanks for the video. I did get it to work though I ran into an error. It said that more than 1 deviced or emulator detected. I exited Bluestacks, pdanet and the Galaxy streaming server. After closing those programs, I ran the batch file and it was successful. I'm sure that bluestacks caused the issue. Just a warning for those using this program.

Do not flash roms from international forum

Sorry, but there seems to be a new post every other day about people borking their Sprint phones because they flash a Rom from the "HTC One" forum.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
-------------------------------------
ROMS from the international forums WILL mess up your phone and you will be lucky to fix it after that! I get you want the shiny new 4.2.2 but those ROMS will not --I repeat-- WILL NOT WORK ON THE SPRINT HTC ONE.
Sure, they used to, but once they moved onto 4.2.2 they will not flash.
I feel this should be sticky in every thread on the Sprint HTC One forum.

Would this be helpful to anyone? It's kind of on/off topic... A direct link to HTC's copy of the HTC One update for Europe?
And by a direct link, I mean an HTC URL?
I mean, the proof is in the pudding...by which I mean the constant stream of "bricked plz help" threads.
So all of these stupid people that aren't reading prior to flashing and you think they are going to magically read this? I really hope this prevents a few but I doubt it.

From what I've seen all the major ROM's say in some fashion or another that it won't work for Sprint so it's mostly people just not reading. Maybe they could make the font about it possibly destroying phones if you are on Sprint bigger...and flashing...surrounded by naked women. Then maybe people will see it.
Unless your a Dev or know what your doing I wouldn't flash non sprint things... I know the partition labels and boot.IMG stuff so I have gotten things to work but not for a noobie

No no no... You don't want to do that! First. Go to Apple.com, that part is right, but you have to download their Symbian Factory ROM. AT&T S5 Devs, do we have any?

Really curious to see if we have any Devs working on the AT&T S5 yet? If so, when do you all think we can expect to start seeing some stuff in the development threads? Obviously BL needs unlocking, if possible. Do we know of anyone working on this?

My S5 is coming in today. Locked boot loader means no development ever except for maybe some safe strap stuff much later down the road which is just rehash of stock roms. No AOSP or CM.

I personally don't really care about roms, as I like the new Touchwiz and don't want to lose some of its nice features. I would like to have root, though. Hopefully someone finds a way for that to happen soon.

Chainfire needs to the stock recovery to build root for the device, basically auto root by chainfire modifies stock recovery temporarily, flashes su then flashes back stock firmware through odin.

You can't pull recovery without root on your device, the only thing we ATT users can do is wait for Samsung to post the firmware which they havent, SM-G900A is the ATT model number, Tmo and Sprint are already up so they already have root.

hmm
Keep in mind guys that if the ATT BL is locked chances are CF Root will fail to flash or boot even if CF builds one for ATT...also if this happens knox warranty is tripped leaving you without warranty coverage and no root...likely a new KK exploit will have to be found...hope I'm wrong about the BL as I'd like to get rid of bloat before handing the phone off to GF..

you never once asked. a bump'd recovery is a recovery that you can just flash without doing any extra stuff. can flash to and from stock to twrp vice versa with the press of a button.
