Use any app in dual window [Root]. - T-Mobile LG G4

Using kernel auditor's build prop editor you can change the vaule of (persist.splitwindow.support_all) from false to true then reboot. After reboot you will have access to all your apps in dual window.

I did this and rebooted now my phone is stuck on T-Mobile screen and blue light at top is pulsing.

Did you change ro.lge.capp_splitwindow from true to false by mistake?

That's strange, are you using the kernel Auditor app or another app?
Edit: How it looks on my end

You need to make sure that whatever you're using to edit the build.prop can handle such a large file, otherwise, when it saves, it won't save the entire build.prop and that'll cause boot loops, I believe.
Alternatively, you can use the following app to be a selective about which apps are dual window mode enabled: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2707310

Figured out my issue. I was going in to the script and changing it from false to true instead of selecting it from the list. It works now.

That application that you linked works perfectly on the LG G4 to select the apps you want in multiwindow without having to edit the build prop! Thank you so much! I'm enjoying having root even more now! [emoji1] [emoji106]

Unlock problem

earlier today I found out my little sister knew my pattern so I changed it. But when I changing the pattern I didn't pay attention a lot and know I forgot the pattern. My data and WiFi are disabled.I can't sign in to my google account with the phone now.
My question: I can't sign in because data/wifi is off? If yes is there a way to turn on wifi or data without unlocking phone?
I'll be thankful if someone help me because I can't loose my apps and setting
I'm using CM 7.2 official
Well there is a slight chance to be lucky enough to get the notification bar opened and enable the wifi/data but there one more way using recovery.

Wiping data is an option if everything else failed, but it would delete your apps and data, so it's only a last thing to do.

I've seen people mention in the past that you can freeze or rename a system app to prevent the ota checks. Anybody know how How on this device?

I tried several things last night to stop it. Went to bed last night and woke up with kitkat! Damnit! I know I can flash back and I know it's a minor thing but It takes at least an hour to backup and then get my phone back just the way I like it. I hate not having sd card. I will never buy another phone without one! Restoring a phone used to be so much easier.

If you're rooted and have customer recovery installed the OTA shouldn't install. It should fail and abort right after starting. Due to root and recovery. So I don't think there is anything to worry about. Unless you're completely stock out of the box. I know every time I've downloaded the update on a GS4 or RAZR maxx and tried to install it wouldn't. It just failed saying it couldn't find recovery or certain APks. And reboot back to the way I was.

[MOD] Bootanimation fix

Is your custom boot animation not working and you have no idea why?
Flash this and it will probably work! (Download below)
I'm not sure who would flash anything with that description. I'm not really sure why a post like this should even be allowed.
What does this zip actually do?

It overwrites /system/bin/bootanimation with one from the CyanogenMod rom so it uses /system/media/bootanimation.zip.

If you copy bootanimation.zip in media folder don't change the animation. This is needed and very helpful.

How to revert back?

Nougat Boot animation

Pulled this from DP4. Not sure if this will be the official bootanimation they go with but for now that's all I got to go on. This is not a flashable zip. So you'll need to copy and paste with a root browser apk to the appropriate location.
For those of you who don't know its in::::
system/media
1.----just rename the one that's there by adding " .BBB" all that does is make it unrecognizable by the system so it doesn't use it but if something goes wrong or you just want to change back its there to rename back to the original name.
2.----copy and paste this zip file from wherever you downloaded it, to system/media
3.----change permissions to rw-r--r--
4.----click the thanks button here.
5.----click your buddies thanks button. No not his,,,,hers.
6.----reboot and stare in amazement. Or however you slow motion stare at something.

So basically if you're rooted you won't ever see it since you have to update via fastbooting factory images anyway.

Feel embarrassed to ask but... How does one download this file on mobile? When I open the link it displays the file name, if I click the download icon it offers to open with Google Drive, and then immediately with ES Zip Explorer or FX.

When I tap the download link in chrome it asks if I want to open with drive or with chrome. I choose chrome and bam, it's in my download folder.
