System image for ZV4? - Sprint LG G4

Anyone still on ZV4, would you be so kind as to upload and post a link to a system dump of this update?
Since we have no TOTs... recovering from a security error is impossible at this point.

I could try a little later if you send the commands to pull it.

Taken from autoprime's post in the root thread here:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 bs=8192 skip=65536 count=557312 of=/data/media/0/system.img

Sorry @pcrhckyman , unfortunately some personal issues have come up and I won't be able to get to this within the next 24-36 hours. I will try when I can, but if anybody else can get this before then, that would be tremendous! (we could also send to the codefire team to root the ZV4 version as well? )

No worries And absolutely, for those holding out on the update.

Trying to get this and share. Once I have the system.img from a ZV4 good phone, how can i apply it to the security error boot looping phone? Just rerun the original root thread dd command with the
Update:
I have the system.img from the command for a zv4 phone. Compressing it now then I'll get the upload started. Need to figure out how to transfer it to the bricked phone though.
Crap, looks like it may not be doable:
you could use a H815 KDZ to restore if something gets messed up I think. OR yes, you could use this root method to reflash system.img at any time.
but yes, if you wanted to reflash system.img it would need to be on your internal sdcard, this wont work with external sdcard. and if the phone doesn't boot.. there'd be no way to get the img back onto the phone.
so, KDZ.. or carry around system.img on internal storage

Bah. Anyone with the Security Error loop is SOL for now.

Sure. What's a good file host for it? About 1.6gb.

Update
Had the security boot error after uninstalling system apps with titanium. So I flashed the US991 KDZ, and got the device to boot. But of course no mobile data because it is the US cellular version, and not Sprint..... So if I could get the ZV4 system.img from someones dump, I should be able to reflash it.
So if anyone has it please, please, please post the link lol.
Thank you!
Update: Reflashed system.rooted.LS991ZV5.img, I'm now stuck on LG screen. Bringing back to Sprint to get a new one lol

No I wouldn't do it, if you can still get into download mode I'll be uploading my system.img file you should be able to flash that.
But yes using the KDZ for US991 will let you boot phone to access the internal storage!

test_boot.img should be in the folder, c:\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools\
since that is where you are running flashboot from

looks like installing a rooted img breaks wifi. i did the superboot/paulobrian method then installed the voodoo ext 4 kernel, then wifi was broken.
i reflashed my boot.img and re-updated via recovery and i have wifi back.

not sure I literally just did a fastboot to download everything on the system partition, as for restoring it this way im not sure how to go about it, I would have thought fastboot would work but if not it might need to be created as a flashable zip

Revert to stock after MOFO Root

To revert completely back to stock
The rootjunkysdl website. http://rootjunkysdl.com/?device=Droid Turbo&folder=Firmware
It's in the firmware section for the Droid Turbo
Download it, unzip it, run the .bat file while in fastboot mode, wait for the magic.

Thanks, what firmware does this flash? It shows "21.128-15" in the file name so I am just wondering. The latest is 21.44.12.quark_verizon.en.us.

Oh yeah, thanks! I just downloaded it and opened it up. This will flash literally everything from radios to the bootloader to system. Thanks now I have it just in case.
Edit: bootloader stays modified...
where can i find 21.44.12?
Edit: do i flash through rsdlite or mofo?
I have been unable to find that version myself. You don't use RSD or MOFO. After you unzip the file look for the .bat file. Put your phone in recovery mode and open the .bat file. It will flash on its own.

Thanks for the reply... I actually messed up my recovery file so I couldnt go that route... luckily it was easy as fastboot flash recovery recovery.img after getting the correct file
Is there any way to get an unrooted system.img to flash with mofo? I'm trying to 'unroot' my phone and keep the modifications I have made, so I can continue using the apps that don't allow me to use them when I'm rooted (Barclays Mobile Banking and Pingit)
That I'm unsure of, have you tried any of the root cloaking apps in the Play Store?

Yes, they don't work. I tried removing su and superuser.apk, but still no luck. It won't probably work, but I'd like to try, see the differences between a rooted and an unrooted system.img, also see if these apps work on a 'flashed' system.img that is unrooted...
I'll keep trying to convert the system.img_sparsechunk* from the stock rom into a mofo flashable system.img... If I can't do it then I'll open a thread asking for a dd from an unrooted system partition

Need stock H81120v boot.img

The only .zip I can find already has a modified boot.img that is rooted. I'm looking for a bone stock one so that I can apply the H21120x OTA via TWRP. (I guess I Could just write out the boot.img update from the updater-script).
Anyone have a copy of this from their device or a way to get it from a KDZ?

Root A6/A6+ Magisk Manager patching boot.img

To those wo have trouble to root their phones!
Try to use a command line lz4 tool, to extract the boot.img from boot.img.lz4. I tried before with 7Zip and it didn't worked. After I tried a command line tool, even the sizes of the boot images were different. This did the trick for me
